Important thing about flying and devil fruits. Just because you learn how to fly via DF it doesn't mean that the users had the ability put the gate. Example: Buggy wasn't flying when he ate his fruit, Mone was given wings and its not a part of her df. Also Luffy can fly too, plus Sabo but he didn't start immediately after getting the fruit. It's a difference between being able to fly instantly and learning how to fly

Man all the typical theories on him are often centred around the angel wing idea though I cant Imagine him having a fruit that epic without Blackbeard stealing it for himself if he isnt already a Mythical Zoan... but thats a whole other can o worms innit? What I wanted to mention was the theory that he's from Turoa! I mean Dawn of the World had a vid on Lafitte being from Turoa like Brook because of the similar sword and shoes to the Rumbar crew issue and... I also love how a Turoan slave is sold in the auction house in sabaody and the only crewmemebr not there is Brook at that moment which FEELS Really Really Intentional... I would kind of LOVE if they had actual familial relation or there are either positive or negative sentiments OR even praise for how he was taught about Pirates from his hometown and maybe he danced with Yorkie who could be his grandpa... and so on... Ooh I just thought of how he could even have dialogue about "oh Jíchán Yorkie died whining about some stupid whale from his attempt on the Grand Line which was why he had to change his name before moving home with grandmother... but I became a better Sherriff than He ever was... and

I can definitely see the similarities between Brooke and Lafitte, it would be really cool if they were related somehow and then ended up having to fight each other like Zoro And Ryuma. I forgot that Brooke also uses a cane weapon just like Lafitte so that could definitely be a connection between them, and it would be a crazy twist if they were related somehow. I also agree that he probably has some kind of mythical fruit, because just like Marco he is able to pick and choose when he wants to use his wings, and probably when he wants to use the full form the fruit allows that we haven’t seen yet. It could end up being a logia, or just a natural thing that he has, but I’m definitely leaning more towards him having some kind of mythical zoan. I never really thought about logia users passing down their will but it makes sense and I like that idea (like when you mention the flame flame fruit users all wanting to protect people). I’ve never heard of people being turned into devil fruits but it could definitely happen, it could be like sugars fruit where if they get touched or something they could get turned into a devil fruit, which would explain why zoans have a mind of their own. I agree Lafitte is one of if not the most interesting black beard pirate, and I can’t wait to finally see who it is that is coming to egghead! The Real York is just knocked out or murdered in the toilet and it explains the multiple bodies atlas has been shown using! Gotta be Devon and Lafitte together!” Which I may have put a few past ideas which some people had pieces of together there but I’d now be more shocked if some of the Punks aren’t actually replaced and/or hypnotised… My concern there is that if we get an angel fruit lafitte would he be that evil or are we just gonna allow full willpower control over their fruit power even against the narure of the fruit (but can it even awaken under such circumstance?) If they go Full DragonBall Super level Angels for powers then I expect basically powers above all advanced kings Haki level futuresight plus wifi-Fruit-Control kinds of shanks powers but applied to altering peoples thoughts at will… which does explain anything Lafitte’s done like hypnotising everyone at impel down and just showing up to chat with gorosei like he’s Shanks (if it wasn’t the hypothetical 2 armed shanks clone Figarland of whatever unknown name… someone bout to comment “oh I know; Binks!” Hehe) ..that would make sense but still doubt binks is a god knight or whatever… hmm… Ohh I looked it up it was “We already know the name of Brook’s home kingdom! Theory analysis” I didn’t get all the capitalisation right but I think that’s the one I was thinking about… Maybe it was a different one where she mentions lafitte? Oh okay it is this one… Your vid made me think “oh they NEED to catch this theory!” Cause it’s got some layers etc… But now I really can’t wait for him and lafitte to have to have a bit of a chat or even just dancing to some tunes or something… I expect some unusual complex character motivation twists with these characters you know?! I’m curious how Oda will handle them later for sure… a lot can be done for sure… almost anything can be speculated as well so… I’m always amazed when he continues to surprise me with twists on even the whackiest subversions of audience expectations… May the Goda be with us Always!
