Its such a great character development moment for Kratos. Kratos solo'd Olympus without any regard to the innocent mortals who suffered because of the war.

Kinda dissappointed with how little Jormungandr is in the game. I imagined him carrying Atreus and Kratos while they fight with Asgard together. Swooping in, devastating armies and his clash with Thor "splintering the world tree". Instead he just gets bonked on the head and sent back in time.

The scary part for me is how easily he could kill a human. He can just step out of nowhere and catch you by surprise.

I really have to give props to the animator and texture artists for the Valkyrie in this game. The way they move is exactly as one with wings on their back would have to move to not jostle things around them and the way they stand also reflect that. Eir's mask is a masterwork of texture and lighting, she looks so sad always but in a caring way.

Im convinced that kratos is the real Ragnarok In this version of mythology, my reason being that Ragnarok roughly translates to "Doom of The Gods". Considering Surtyr only destroyed Asgard, and kratos is the one who actually Kills most of the Aesir God's himself. I mean look at what happened to Greece after he literally beat Zeus to death with his bare hands lmao.

I have very few grips with the game. Them unnecessarily removing some moves and runic attacks (i know some were included in the basic moveset), musphelheim trials were a little disappointment (i also miss 2018 niphelheim challenge), and then surtr and the world serpent not doing much during ragnarok. Those are my only grips with the game. Straight up flawless if it wasn't for them imo. Especially the latter one, after mimir's story of the crazy battle between jormungandr and thor, it being almost off screen was disappointing. And surtr having a whole ass section of the game for him, only to have him cleave his sword in the earth toward the very end and do nothing more was also kind of a letdown. I still love the game, but i would have a loved it if we saw more of surtr and jormungandr
Shame they took out some of the shield moves regardless really love this game

Poor Surtr. He sacrifice himself because Kratos and the boi convincing him to do so. But his allies decide to hold him back in the first minutes of the war.

it's not bad writing, in the previous game mimir said that Sutr lives to serve grand cycle something like fate, he was destined to die in Ragnarok. Did you play God of war 4?

Norse gods
The Dwarves come from Svartheim a realm known for its technology and Mimir said “Dwarven ingenuity” so Asgard forced them into servitude. So Sindri was talking about Odin enslaving his people.
