Thank you. When using the metal ring snaps I use a rubber to press against the spikes until they come through the fabric. You make it look so easy even without this
push the pointy bit of the snap through the fabric before putting the male/female bit on- it makes it much easier. To break the snap if you do it wrong- use the pliers to press down on the sides of the poppers on squeeze until it cracks- it'll fall off then.
Hi, great vlog, what are the difference in the different coloured handles of the pliers, is it just colour preference or do they do different things. Many thanks
Hi, thank you for a great tutorial. Some of my plastic snaps break off when I open them. Please can you tell me what I’m doing wrong? Is it because I don’t apply enough pressure or do I squeeze them too hard? Thank you!
I have a pair of the prym love pliers and one of the prym love press snaps arm. Ive tried everything to try and get the jersey snaps to fix but, no matter whether they're in the original arm or the pliers, they won't take.... im pretty sure I'm not doing anything wrong, they just fall apart. Is there anyone else who has had problems with these smaller snaps?
having a terrible time finding pliers for metal snaps. the last ones I tried said to install the rubber pieces on top and bottom. there was only one rubber piece. Dritz heavy duty). I have a plastic thing similar to what you used - but no clue what size pliers it fits. no one seems to carry the pliers shown on /YT videos.
Excellent demo. Thank you. 👏👏👏

I have exactly the same problem... I had other tool from a cheap brand and worked much better than Prym.
How would remove them after being melted by a presser?

Same here... I'm really disappointed with prym.
