My heart aches for a more simple time when ppl appreciated what they had and willingly shared it with their neighbors in need.
Times were never simple. It just seems that way because while young we were unaware of so much crap that exists and just how messed up the world really is.

I was visiting home nurse for many many years anime northern part of Virginia in the country those are my favorite people they were so kind-hearted family oriented and supportive and even though some of them may not have been very educated they were very willing to learn how to take care of their family members
That reminds me of going to my grandma's home in Pound Virginia we had to cross a wooden bridge no rails on it that I can remember and she had a nice stream in front.Aftee she passed her son's sold it to a mining company and now nothing is there.
I hope we never loose all the old home and scenes like the old house in the picture it reminds me of my grandmother and grandfather's and my dad's house god bless you

That salvageable left behind stuff must be preserved. Part of the American pioneer heritage. Even lots of aged lunber abd building material there are candidates for preservation.
