Commenting here as an ex-10pearls employee. I have met Zeeshan bhai and Imran bhai in the office. Very humble people to interact with and again doing a great job for Pakistan IT sector.
Zeeshan Aftab Sahab is great personality. Maa shaa Allah. A visionary and empathetic person. May Allah SWT grant him more in this world and Aakhirah. Aameen summa Aameen
38:34 takes me back 😅, I was the resource being talked about here, and I definitely agree that you don't need a degree to climb the ladder in IT, as programming is like most skills with enough dedication you can master it and to my experience IT industry have always valued skill over degree.
TBT always contributes to the minds and thought processes of its viewers by bringing such great leaders / legends of respective fields. always enjoy your every episode.

More or less same service based culture followed in most IT companies throughout Pakistan. I hope a big players comes out in the Product development industry which can actually create some practical value in Changing how things work in the world
Finally someone who pointed out the pitfall we are heading to....as an individual, I am also very concerned too. I would request if you can do a program specifically focusing on how the salaried middle class can manage their situation. E.G I got a solar set up installed just to avoid the load shedding and also to control my electricity bills, starting car pooling, infact using ride sharing apps etc. What else can we do to manage things better.
As an Ex software engineer at Pearls, I've found the company really professional. They care about developing their employees and offer great chances to advance in your career. Plus, Zeeshan himself is super down-to-earth.
I'm also doing my bsc from Istanbul Turikiye, I learned Turkish too without even studying, but the thing is that things have been changed now, still hoping for the best Insha'Allah
Thank you for sharing these beautiful thoughts on the podcast. I'm eager to see if TBT can arrange a podcast with Mr. Asif Peer, CEO of Systems Ltd. I believe there's much to learn from him as well. Thank you once again, TBT, for this informative and engaging podcast. I didn't miss a second of it, though I did rewind a few minutes at times to listen more carefully to Zeeshan sb's insights on your questions.
Question!how can young generation of Pakistan achieve the skill set to become industry leaders not just employees, please ask this question from all respected guests, would really appreciate some insights on this, keep up the good work ✨✨
Muzammil bhai it's really great to see our Pakistani RUclipsrs giving us know how about certain businesses. But here something I really wanna point out, is that please sort some really good questions that should be helpful to know about the market in general and their challenges and how did they solve all those problems. If I am thinking of a startup in the same field and need to know about the market challenges, I dont find any detailed information on the niche, the pros and cons. It seems like podcast is flooded with different angles but with very little information on each. Please do the necessary. We want our RUclipsrs dig the information from the person according to our needs. Thanks. Jazak Allah ❤️
I'm commenting the same thing again. He is not giving correct figures. $3000-4000 resource cost? Konse Pakistan main horaha hai ye? Time stamp: 1:01:30
Muzammil sir can you also do a podcast with an exporter like a clothing apparel exporter as you have connections in that domain as well who can explain the future about exports of Pakistan and where the country is headed and if the demand is increasing or decreasing of physical export products from pakistan. Thank you
One of the most insightful podcasts Muzammil bhai, as a student i often look for different courses and what not to do to level up my skill portfolio, i didnt know 10PearlsUniversity was a thing and id definitely check it out, employee retention wali baat holds alot of water as well, id love to see where these Pakistan based companies take loyalty benefits especially in regards to stock options in the future
IT education ka mayar to yh hai kay IT graduate ko he nahi pta hota job kay liye kya seekhna chaiye aur kesay skill acquire karni hai jab tak koi mentor na milay!! Teachers ko kuch nai pta market kay baray ma!!
This was great conversation very insightful and informative keep up the good work Muzamil, your doing great work for the youngsters of Pakistan. (10p employee)
Muzammil let the god damn guest speak. I watched the entire episode and there were so many moments where you asked him a question and he was about to give away an important point and you would cut him off to put your point.
Agreed, that was too annoying. At several points, guest was about to say something really good, but Muzammil kept cutting him off and taking to new points. I am amazed the guest didnt show his annoyance on that.
Pakistan ma private sector ma companies internship he nahi deti jab tak koi reference na ho 4 banday aik office ma kaam kar rahay hain unkay paas time nahi hai kay kisi ko sikha dein kuch!!
Interesting that he does not currently see benefit of going IPO. Also he does not currently see any benefit of focusing on product due to the "threat" of AI. In previous Dil ki baat ep Muzamil emphasized that these issues are crucial for the future of company's and Pakistans growth. For me it seemed like a person with experienced like Zeeshan does not share this view, at least at the same level of importance. Would love to hear if this changes Muzzamils views, or is Zeeshan simply downplaying the consequences? Or maybe Zeeshan is right, and Muzzamil lack understanding or data. Anyways, great episode! Thanks for your hard work 😊 love from abroad
Main issue in IT sectors in Pakistan is companies paying a very less salaries to their employees, as a result many talented resources leave a country and go to abroad for better opportunity.
I'm just about to complete my bachelors in English. But I want to switch my career towards IT. I'm following your podcast especially technology focused ones. It's been a great help to figure out the uncertainty in certain things. Kindly also talk about a complete road map as you know the experts so it would be helpful for me and others to start self-learning and make a career at least in the span of 1 year or so accordingly. Focusing on the resources and only necessary things to learn especially incorporating AI and considering future tech industry. Sir Zeeshan Aftab inspired me a lot and I think I will be working in 10 Pearls after learning necessary skills initially. I hope my comment is considered. Thanks to both of you for such insights.
I wish I were younger to join IT but I can advise you to search Al Nafi IT programmes. They offer money back guarantee and I have seen people getting good jobs here in Europe after they do their 9 months online course.
I think countries like Pakistan, can actually get the most benefit from AI, rich country people will have more hard time but yes they can leverage as they have a good education and competence. We must be adaptable other wise we will be irrelevant
Sir, is there a DSA data structures and algorithms round in these big companies or the interview is solely focused on the technology on which the person is supposed to work such as React, Next. Js etc.
@muzamal for 70 to 80 percent of population not at the level of urs and urs guest education, though level so plz also try to communicate or summarize in very simplest for that section of society as well
Muzammil bhai, thank you so much for inviting Sir Zeeshan. His work is truly inspirational, and his dedication to excellence is evident in his remarkable achievements. Sir, your success story resonates deeply with my own aspirations. It would be an honor to have the opportunity to meet you in person. I am confident that, God willing, we will strive to emulate your path and make a meaningful difference in the world. 10p used to be a solid company until 2021. However, their excessive hiring in non-tech teams led to layoffs and forced resignations.
