It is a classic pirate adventure children's show. Not sure about the whole lost world concept and where they are going with that. The story seems to only advance when the apparently learning disabled human male child pushes a button he shouldn't push. I hope they stop doing that now that they made fun of him doing that so much at the end of the second episode. Definitely an overplayed child sidekick trope.
lol yeah, I hope it doesn’t become a thing throughout the show that he does something stupid and consistently causes more problems for them. I’d hope the writers would give him some character growth as the show goes on but we’ll see.
Still early in the series… people are so blinded by nostalgia that they are so against anything new whether it’s bad or good.
