  • This is the man who wanted to recreate the Columbine Mass Shooting in the United Kingdom.
On the 28th of November 2022, Avon & Somerset Police Officers arrived at an address in the village of Wick St. Lawrence, England. They had received intel that a person at the home had been ordering blank firing bullets & guns.
Upon arriving they found the person they were looking for & he answered all questions put forward to him, however only moments later he would aim a gun at police, he was shot 3 times.
An investigation was opened shortly after the shooting & it was here police would discover something horrific, they found plans for an upcoming mass shooting event.

    • @Nicole-kc1vx
      @Nicole-kc1vx 7 месяцев назад

@@TheWaveGoodbye-Music I wouldn't say very few, in my experience messy environments are very typical for lads.
When I was doing my undergrad and living with other people, the boys always made the place a right tip, and they never cleaned up after themselves. They weren't depressed, they were quite popular and outgoing, they just didn't give two shits about living in squalor.
I made the mistake of sharing my utensils with them, the pots and pans started growing mold because they didn't throw away the food and refused to clean them. I just ended up tossing everything.
I absolutely hated living there, I was the first to move out. Because I was moving out early, I wasn't going to be around to donate leftover dry food and such, so I asked if they could put it in the donation bag for me when it came around. They sent me pictures of the destroyed items, they chose to waste the food (threw it around the kitchen, sliced things up with knives) instead of donating it like I requested.
After that experience, I vowed to never live with others again.
But even though I said it typical of lads, the one time I lived with all girls, the place wasn't a huge step up.
I understand some people live in such environments because they've lost control of their lives, but what I've experienced is usually people living in pig styes because they just don't care. They don't plan on staying in the place forever, so they just let it fall apart, then they leave. They view it as someone else's problem. Probably cause they are used to their parents cleaning up after them.

Yeah, obviously we're all watching a video where we have more context. But the running (as you mentioned), the fact that the only prominent feature in his mess of a room are firearms and the strange manner in which he touched the jacket pocket were a lot to go on in the immediate situation. Surprised they missed that last one, as officers are taught to keep an eye on a suspects hands at all times, regardless of threat level, just to make extra sure of their own safety and the safety of the public. So leaving him in a room unsupervised for 30+ seconds is kind of wild, considering these factors. Didn't know how the scenario played out, but the second I saw him go into the bathroom by himself I was on high alert just watching that.

For anyone who's interested in criminal profiling, Reed is what profilers call an "injustice collector". These perpetrators tally up the injustices they feel have been done to them by other people, but these so-called "injustices" can include the smallest of aggravations and events that took place years or even decades before. For example Reed wanted revenge on people who bullied him as a child in school as well as other people who had wronged him in ways that would have been long forgotten by most people. Most injustice collectors aren't dangerous fortunately but Reed definitely was the exception.

Reed should be given a hefty prison sentence for his behaviour during the police visit. However, due to his mental state, he'll just build up even more resentment than he already has towards society whilst incarcerated, and probably end up being an even greater threat to the public once he's been released. He is a prime example of how the laws need to be changed in order to ensure public safety AFTER his prison release.

As someone who had a similar childhood and early teenagehood (picked on for mental disorders which in turn fed into those disorders further, getting into some bad stuff) but got out of it and am now (relatively) normal and not homicidal, I can’t help but think about if things could have gone different, if he reached out to the right people and none of this happened. Maybe I’m having too much empathy for him, glad he didn’t have the chance to hurt anybody.

@ConfusedTeddy. I'll tell you one thing: if this happened in the US, the police would have opened fire immediately. Hell, if the man sneezed or pulled out a cellphone, he'd have gotten shot. UK police train much more than US police. They train more consistently as well. The US has a huge problem with fat complacent police.

I can confirm, If you purchase a specific type of blank pistol ie a bruni brand, they are considered the most at risk of being converted. I had the same thing happen to me. Police arrived at the door without a warrant and asked to inspect the weapons. Once they inspected them and confirmed they had no been tampered with, they told me i had two options either surrender them or they will get a court order to seize them. so i just took the first option. I also had they version which was all black and was a member or a club to be allowed this version.

As a brit, I do tend to find myself as kind of American-leaning, so my brain is saying something like "they're violating his non existant second ammendment rights!!" but when we have a good look at his room, I just realise that someone like him, someone who can't keep himself tidy or put important things in important places, probably doesn't deserve the right to guns in the first place, and I guess I am somewhat thankful that we don't have gun crime.

Mate it is a bodycam that has been released through a freedom of information request. The police force aren't going to go out and hire a voice actor just to increase the entertainment value for youtube ffs. They just quickly edit it to remove identification and release it.

I was bullied a lot from primary school all the way through highschool and i'm honestly kind of glad i was, it showed me the true nature of the world in some regards and instead of letting it break me it motivated me to prove all the people who got enjoyment from making me feel small and pathetic and weak wrong, i eventually grew (after highschool) to 6ft,1 i started working out and after almost 10 years of grinding am proud to have a healthy and strong & aesthetic physique, i got into STEM and got a job that has literally allowed me to travel the world. A couple years ago i used facebook and check up on some of the people who made my life hell and didn't see a single sign of success from any of them, they are all either on min wage in some soul sucking meaningless job, out of shape or divorced with kids. Ultimately without any ambition or purpose. I don't hate these people anymore, i just feel bad for them, i absolutely cannot comprehend this Reed guy letting those types of people dictate his future path and consume his own life. The guy just doubled down against himself his whole life.

His reactions of grinning was imo , disbelief as he had not committed a crime and was suprised to br visited at home. Where his reaction changed was when the police were stating they clearly needed to conduct a thorough search of the property whilst he was going down the cop shop. Then he knew theyd find all his toys
