I loved the tip about twisting the hair up after moisturizing it. Such a little thing takes what 30 seconds But makes a Huge difference in how "Juicy" :) your hair stays! Great Tutorial!
Thank you so so much. My daughter is in the latter stage of her natural hair transition. I've just about had it with the " mummy it hurts". Just put her hair in bunches following your instructions to a T. It was amazing. Now I know how to soften and manage her hair. Muah.
I just watched your video and did this. I have high hopes. I have just gone natural for about three weeks and love discovering my hair. I have been wearing crochet braids for a year and a half and figured enough is enough lol. I love your videos
i love your teaching ma'am, i learnt alot of tips to make my coarse hair soft, i am glued to this channel, i love you ma'am and your family too, referred by teey vlogs. thanks for being here for natural hair lovers, ma'am film a video about how to handle excess hair breakage, thanks my notification is on to come watch the tips and products to get rid of hair breakage.thanks i love you ma'am.
Hello I loved this video keeping the moisture in your hair by deep conditioning is very important helps against breakage. So true. I do the lco method that helps keep the moisture in my hair. I wear twists in my hair and put it in a bun in the back for a week but remoisturize every 2 days and wear my hair out on sundays. Wash days are on sundays. Thank you for this video.
thanks alot, I really don't like pictures. I really love how your hair jus works. I really want to get my hair going like that. i really would love for you to help me out. I asked a family member. she told me what to use . but didn't walk me through step by step. if you could send me something. I really will appreciate it
Not a stupid question at all. Very intelligent. Here is more information the type of oil to use ruclips.net/video/eIh3BCi84xE/видео.html ruclips.net/p/PLCT7rEmj0XkwZlJdUpdy-ZueBf7vkOlz6
Thought you will show the main part to soften hair,a million bottles of oil and water still makes my thick 4c hair as iron.Shea butter and aloe gel is the only thing to keep it less hard, dry.YOU NEED TO DEMONSTRATE IT.
I personally found that just water and oil doesn't work for me (unless I do hot oil treatments). Glycerin softens my hair nicely, so in warm months I use it with my shea butter mixture. Very soft and moisturised.
i have a wavy hair but not soft. anyways if you straight your hair it will look nice on you cuz you have a healthy hair. nice video . XOXO from sri lanka
msrnbsn I would use a styler. It really depends on the style for me. If I just do simple twists, I just go ahead and twist, but if I need some hold, I add a little gel or my shea aloe custard.
.....what products can i buy that have no sulfates and silicones in them that i can purchase? I have a tiny afro and it's always dry. Even when I LOC. Help!
Rayell Wilhite There are several out there. In stores you can buy SheaMoisture (they have buy one get one free sale from now till this Saturday at Walgreens), EdenBodyworks and so many more.
Can you message me on Facebook? I would love to look at your hair routine and determine what you are doing wrong. Send me a private message on my Natural Hair Facebook page DiscoveringNatural
Thank you for this DN! I love acv at as prepoo but I notice it can be verrrryy time consuming. Have u ever used it on you or your girls' hair before? I think that's y I dread doing my 4 yr old's hair it's very coarse and thick and long. What r your thoughts on clipping ends for a four yr old?
PebblesLeak82 You are welcome. I have not used it on my daughters' hair before. If the ends of your daughter's hair need trimming, then go for it. Personally, I make sure to do all I can to aid in keeping the ends moisturized so as not to trim as often.
Annmarie busu LOL! Check it out. On my blog, I wrote an article about the different types of silicones. When you get a chance check it out. Just do a search on my blog DiscoveringNatural{dot}com on 'silicones'
Akua Nimo I deep condition weekly. I moisturize as needed. Every day, I check my hair and if it feels dry, I will moisturize. The dry feeling will be like straw. If at night, my hair feels dry, I will moisturize. Most of the time, with the products I use, I can go 2 days without moisturizing. Hope this helps.
Pls r u really sure dis method work's Cox I have watched a lot of vedios try them but does not work for me .Will try yours too I really have a dry hair which I hate dat.
odyejim You can. However, when I use shea butter as my cream, I would add Aloe Vera Gel to make it more moisturizing. This is because I find that when I use just shea butter alone it, it as just as a selant, locking in moisture that exists on the hair. However, if you add the AVG to it, it makes it more moisturizing. Some people find that when they use just Shea butter as a moisturizer, the hair feels dry. This could be the reason.
I have sheamoisture curling soufflé & the style milk and the sheamoisture jbco hair lotion. Do you have any recommendation on moisturizers for coarse hair? :)
odyejim The curl and style milk and the JBCO hair lotion you can use those as moisturizers. The Curling Souffle is a styler. Like a gel. I love the curl and style milk a lot. After using it, I then put the shea butter to seal in the moisture. Hope this helps.
