    Hello I loved this video keeping the moisture in your hair by deep conditioning is very important helps against breakage. So true. I do the lco method that helps keep the moisture in my hair. I wear twists in my hair and put it in a bun in the back for a week but remoisturize every 2 days and wear my hair out on sundays. Wash days are on sundays. Thank you for this video.

      I personally found that just water and oil doesn't work for me (unless I do hot oil treatments). Glycerin softens my hair nicely, so in warm months I use it with my shea butter mixture. Very soft and moisturised.

      PebblesLeak82 You are welcome. I have not used it on my daughters' hair before. If the ends of your daughter's hair need trimming, then go for it. Personally, I make sure to do all I can to aid in keeping the ends moisturized so as not to trim as often.

    • @DiscoveringNatural
      @DiscoveringNatural  9 лет назад

      Akua Nimo I deep condition weekly. I moisturize as needed. Every day, I check my hair and if it feels dry, I will moisturize. The dry feeling will be like straw. If at night, my hair feels dry, I will moisturize. Most of the time, with the products I use, I can go 2 days without moisturizing. Hope this helps.

    Can you use shea butter for your cream?? :)

    • @DiscoveringNatural
      @DiscoveringNatural  10 лет назад

      odyejim You can. However, when I use shea butter as my cream, I would add Aloe Vera Gel to make it more moisturizing. This is because I find that when I use just shea butter alone it, it as just as a selant, locking in moisture that exists on the hair. However, if you add the AVG to it, it makes it more moisturizing. Some people find that when they use just Shea butter as a moisturizer, the hair feels dry. This could be the reason.

      odyejim The curl and style milk and the JBCO hair lotion you can use those as moisturizers. The Curling Souffle is a styler. Like a gel. I love the curl and style milk a lot. After using it, I then put the shea butter to seal in the moisture. Hope this helps.
