Personally, I kinda liked the laid back nature of the first Scary Godmother- when it focused on Hannah and her getting to know the monsters. It felt like A Muppet Family Christmas meets Hotel Transylvania. When it focused on the other kids, it was kinda boring, with too many Family Guy "a joke goes on for a minute" moments. But I do love hiw the stakes are a lot higher this time around, as it makes sense for a sequel.

Phantom of the megaplex was my fav Disney halloween movie, aside from the entire Halloweentown saga. Such a freaky movie as a kid. I was actually afraid to go to the movies alone until i was 12, because i watched this movie when i was 4 and it scared me. But i still watch every year.

Alright my explanation for invader zim since I also want you to like it: the joke is meant to be that zim is a complete incompetent idiot, but so are the humans he’s conquering. The humans are so oblivious to all of the completely obvious alien shit that it’s absurd. As are zim’s plans, they range from complete overkill that would destroy the entire planet instead of conquering it, to complete petty annoyances that only affect Dib. The joke is more that everyone is incompetent, and the humor is to watch everyone’s stupidity kinda cancel each other out, or to watch zim or the humans screw themselves over. It is admittedly a show you need to be in the right mood to watch

In the SpongeBob stop motion where plankton talks about being in SpongeBob’s brain was a nod to the movie sponge out of water. Where plankton went inside his brain to find the formula. Instead, he found his brain was filled with sweet and wholesome images. I loved that extra detail soooo much!

I don't know how many people remember this, but 3/5 of the Yo Gabba Gabba characters (not including the guy who played DJ Lance) were the antagonists for the B-plot of Big Time Rush Episode 5 season 4. I am mostly bringing this up for Athena's upcoming Yo Gabba Gabba video because the Yo Gabba Gabba cast are in character in said B-plot. Implications I stopped caring for around 2015, but relevent for Athena.

Personally, I kinda liked the laid back nature of the first Scary Godmother- when it focused on Hannah and her getting to know the monsters. It felt like A Muppet Family Christmas meets Hotel Transylvania. When it focused on the other kids, it was kinda boring, with too many Family Guy "a joke goes on for a minute" moments. But I do love hiw the stakes are a lot higher this time around, as it makes sense for a sequel.

Phantom of the megaplex was my fav Disney halloween movie, aside from the entire Halloweentown saga. Such a freaky movie as a kid. I was actually afraid to go to the movies alone until i was 12, because i watched this movie when i was 4 and it scared me. But i still watch every year.

Scary godmother is an amazing underrated movie series. I'm glad it's on RUclips so I can watch it every year. Halloween specials are always some hit or miss.

Alright my explanation for invader zim since I also want you to like it: the joke is meant to be that zim is a complete incompetent idiot, but so are the humans he’s conquering. The humans are so oblivious to all of the completely obvious alien shit that it’s absurd. As are zim’s plans, they range from complete overkill that would destroy the entire planet instead of conquering it, to complete petty annoyances that only affect Dib. The joke is more that everyone is incompetent, and the humor is to watch everyone’s stupidity kinda cancel each other out, or to watch zim or the humans screw themselves over. It is admittedly a show you need to be in the right mood to watch

In the SpongeBob stop motion where plankton talks about being in SpongeBob’s brain was a nod to the movie sponge out of water. Where plankton went inside his brain to find the formula. Instead, he found his brain was filled with sweet and wholesome images. I loved that extra detail soooo much!

22:15 Thanks for reminding me of Yo Gabba Gabba having two cameo appearances in Big Time Rush. I don't know how many people remember this, but 3/5 of the Yo Gabba Gabba characters (not including the guy who played DJ Lance) were the antagonists for the B-plot of Big Time Rush Episode 5 season 4.
I am mostly bringing this up for Athena's upcoming Yo Gabba Gabba video because the Yo Gabba Gabba cast are in character in said B-plot. Implications I stopped caring for around 2015, but relevent for Athena.

my first thought of halloween specials is fetch with ruff ruffman and all i remember is seeing shadowy figures in the windows and it terrified me as a kid
So as a kid I only ever saw scary god mother 2 and was so confused where the monsters came from and stuff and when I read the book not realizing the movie I saw was a sequel.
