There are no upgrades, exept the wands. Everything is just rebranded fishing gear with fishing spell cards applied. The gear is good for stitches tho. KI once again took out something good from the game just to put it behind a paywall. Smfh.
BTW the gear isn't the exact same. It may be in a full set, but I noticed a couple pieces differed in the amount of fishing luck, so if you mix sets you can min-max luck even more.
Checked out the wizcentral wiki for this pack and if they didn't make it so lower levels gave less fishing luck I would've totally bought crowns and opened some packs to get the gear cause I never got into fishing until after they removed the arena ticket gear so I'm pretty lacking in that area. And yknow, I think this also shows that the KI devs only favor those who dedicate their lives to w101 and always have max chars and whatnot
Have your opinions changed on whether or not you should have a subclass with the mastery amulets and now school pip system? Just hopped into the game recently cause of the free month and the school pips intrigue me.
The fishing spells on the gear are the exact same as the spells you cast normally. I have no idea why they are on the gear, they cost and do the exact same as if you were to do it normally. Maybe it's for people who never have gone past Lucky's first fishing quest... for... whatever... reason....
Best fishing wands are the focused wands you craft to become a revered crafter...this pack gives only 3% luck increase and some energy. Without it your max fishing luck is 55% which is 100% accuracy anyways so the additional 3% does nothing. Therefore, you're opening packs to have about 10 energy more with max fishing luck (and most people fish during 0 energy fishing anyways...). Mount is trash, pet is trash, housing items are trash, spellements are unneeded. Overall like pretty much less than 1/10 pack, christ...the gear isn't even good for stitching. So bad, so sad... Edit: I said the mount was bad...I meant on looks...but after finishing the video and seeing it move...YIKES...that's hurting my eyes so bad...it's like the mount moves at 2fps or smth...legit gave me a headache
Talk about the 13 days of spiral etc... Being so bad.. Little to no free items like other years. Also the lumber holiday pack energy gear is much better, lumber is 26-30 energy each peice at 130.
They should have just made the og gear craftable. This pack is a sham from the very begining and its painfully obvious. The clearly was going to make the pack for all 7 schools. They already have 4/7 schools in the pack. They could have easily made a gardeing set, a fishing set and uni damage set something they have done in the past. I bet anything Atmoplex will find something in files with unused sets related to this pack that look like it resembles one for death, myth and balance. KI really needs to stop with the BS. This is too much.
Not even gonna watch the video as I already know his style by now, but Blaze my guy you need some life breathed into your content. You've stayed at the same threshold for years now not because it's the cap, but because you've lost any ounce of passion you might have held. If you kept on with the discussions, with the theories i truly believe your community would be larger but at this point it just seems you've given up and it's disappointing. hope for the day when we have a community member that actualizes the community as a whole
FYI there different types of that energy/fishing gear in that pack. I have gotten the best versions of each and it is better than the regular fishing gear. Not worth the waste of crowns honestly, wiz could have done better

It’s not a trash game, it’s really good. You spend money on it bec you enjoy it, your not going to always get what you want from packs unless your a big spender. I would either buy more packs or enjoy what you got and be happy with it bec these packs will never go away, they will always be back next year

I opened several of those packs as well with similar results. Not worth buying again imo.
