My dad had a 186S with a four on the floor Opel gearbox. Great car in a great era. I wish I had it now but then again most of us will say that about many of the cars we drove
Ian Jolly , your Dad had the very rare X2 , Opel cluster box , kept blowing them to bits ,as they opel box's were made for early vauxhalls , hard plastic gears , most needed the all Australian box , I doubt you'll find one with an opel cluster gear box , the X2 prem was an audacious attempt of matching the Ford V8s that why the XU1 WAS MADE , WHAT 2 SUPERB MOTORS , BEST IN AUS HISTORY ,

A mate of mine in the late 70s had an original HR Premier sedan with the 186S and the rare 4 speed manual. For memory it was metallic blue with a black vinyl roof and black interior. The stupid bastard took the original motor and gearbox out and shoehorned a 308 V8 with 4 speed into it.
I had an HR with a 2 speed powerglide. It was great for towing.

I would like to know where to go good quality work done on my car
6:31 "Horsham Motors" as far as I know would have been Ranley Motors.
No interior filmed ...disappointed 👀🤷♂️
All talk no action. Why not give us a look around and inside, and a run on the highway? As usual, too much talk.
That's me in a nutshell. All talk, no action. Luckily I didn't give up my day job.
