You are like the only hoi4 youtuber who regularly plays democracy and it adds variety to the content which is either obsessed with larping as grey/brown dictatorship, obsessed with endless manpower commie paths, or obsessed with blobing. And the few like taureor and sejo that just like exploiting the game. You play like I do, enjoying the flavor but choosing a personal goal and trying to play with as little exploits as possible, as if you are the leader(s) of the country. So I dont think play democracy all the time is boring cus its rare to get a democracy video from other youtubers.
You have no idea the smile on my face i had when i saw this. Thanks for doing the challenge! it was fun seeing your take on it and also some of the struggles i usually face too, notably the crazy org wall meeting you in the benelux
Fun fact, you can create EU as monarchist France. Simply do not select your monarch after Repeal the law of exile. Remain democracy, beat Italians and Germans, form EU. From there you can choose your monarch, switch to non aligned and have fun with a possobility to declare wars. Its much better that doing fascist or communist path because Repeal the law of exile remives Disjointed Government spirit and lets you have decent pp and surrender limit as well as army reform.
True I love playing democracies, it's harder, much more of a challenge but it's so rewarding! I occasionally play commies but only like small nations, cause major red party is to easy. You should try Sanation Left (hidden Democratic Path) as Poland, It's amazing you can get 5% plus menpower if you do some focuses of the right sanation, throughout that political tree you basically end up with 10% democratic support and 90% neutral and then you get a decision to convert all that grey party to dem popularity! Also Focus common organization of society is crazy op. Poland has also awesome bonuses on that line to recruiting generals and starts with grand battle plan which means theater training, amazing traits, high level generals from the start! I did that route for my no more partitions achievement, joining allies at first but then using that left political tree to protect baltic states from the soviets creating my own faction! It's so fun!
1 vote for no more brown party play throughs. The game play is uninspiring and the alt history implications leave a bad taste. These days I click off a video as soon as the brown party is the player focus.

Game idea: as sinkiang, unite china, then form Turkistan, and own majority of Eurasia, as a neo-Mongolian empire
