Until today, I never knew cows actually live off fat!
Supposedly about 70-80% of the carbs gets turned into short chain fatty acids. Absolutely incredible. Makes sense how ruminants can grow so big and muscular, they're in ketosis almost all the time
❤️❤️ when taught in the university it was so hard and tiring, but now after I got home and play this , it's as easy as to put a food on my mouth 😁
I'm a human bio grad on a RUclips binge and this video was so awesome! Made comparing it to the knowledge I already had really fun :)

In std 10 rn, watching this since class 7 was mass promotion 😂
Ye baat
Im in std 8!
Thank you for sharing this video!!!
Bravo!
Simple and understandable.
for real every time i see a science video produced in India (barat now?) i know its gonna be super easy to understand, u guys gotta amazing didatics
clear voice and explanation...thanks madam i understand well
Thanks for this video
Super
How much time does the food stay in each compartment?
thanks, Zben from Nigeria, Africa salutes 👏👍
Wow
briefly understandable, well shorten and arranged
well understood... fluent English so clear
Thank you . You made the chapter understand
Thank you mam 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Good method of teaching
Best best best explaination👌👌👌
Can you explain the blood supply in simple stomach
This was sort of confusing at first but you made it clear and simple after rewatching
what happens if cow mistakenly eats plastic bag along with food. Can they remove it out .
That's possible. Ruminants really sometimes accidentally consumes plastics, even nails or wire. The reticulum chamber or the "hardware stomach" is incharge of that.

Blot will occur
they should regurgitate
God bless you 🙏
Great job
thanks for making it easier to understand... thnxx mam ur awesome
Like this so many videos we want
Great video.
Thanks 🙏😇🤓
Thankyousomuch mam❤️
Thanks
Thanks everyone for your likes and comments!!
Hi. Great vid. Can you tell me how the micro-organisms get into the ruminant's stomach? They must come from somewhere, in the first place. Thanks
Ma'am I have a doubt - do the acid in cow's stomach is hydrochloric acid like humans or they have contain any other acids???
@@chhatrapalsinhgohil890 no acid
@@ultra_edits99 than how the digestion process works???
I mean do any other fluids do the process? Please explain me in detail because I'm taking steps against the deaths of cows due to the consumption of plastic waste because they are not digestible
@@chhatrapalsinhgohil890 Now Listen.....
The Mechanism Of Digestion in Ruminants is complex....
There is no acid present...
But There are...
Rumen Microbes.......... These
microbes ferment The sugars present....
And Produce acetate , propionate ,
Butyrate , methane , Hydrogen Sulphide , and Carbon Dioxide
Super explained mam
Awesome! Helpful lecture.
Thank you mym 🙏🙏
Mym-
Thanks alot doctor
Hmmmm🤗Thank you

thank you teacher
Excellent thank you so much!
Very nice video
Thanks for great knowledge.
very useful video. thank you very much..
Ma’am, in the video it was mentioned that no glucose is supplied to the cells of the ruminant itself, instead it is given to the bacteria for the performing of their vital functions. But how can an animal survive without getting any glucose?
Animal get glucose but it converted into a fatty acids like VFA ACETATE,butric acid and propionate, animal get it but in the form of F.A.
Supposedly they live mostly in a state of ketosis
Thank you mam for this video
nice clearly said about digestion of ruminants
Wow.... Wonderful 👌👌👌
Very clear information about Rumen digestion. Thanks a lot ma'am, this helped me to do a seminar on ruminants
Ma'am can you please give examples of amoeba
Excellent...
Great 👍🏻
I understand properly
Very very helpful

Don't really think it's luck. Ditigal age hasn't made it any easier. All that happens now is instead of reading three articles in the library, we're expected to read 100...
Nice

How long does it take for a ruminant to go from first swallowing food to leisurely spitting it back into their mouths to chew it?
