So far I only have one of the 5 up. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe My son ran out of time, with motion detector etc. I have it over my garage door. It works great. Have seen a couple of cats, my dogs, when I am out front. And had a bee buzzing around right in front of it. It works very well. It even shows the neighbour's driveway, but only shows movement just past my own, which is very long. I highly recommend them.
Mak, thank you for clarifying. You are correct. This is model 2 and exterior-friendly or all-weather. I’m interested in trying the newer model. Perhaps some time in the near future. Stay tuned. Thanks so much for watching.
It actually depends on usage. If you have it set to always record, it will only last 3 months. But if you have it set to motion activated in a low traffic area, you can get up to two years on one pair of batteries. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
@@FieldGuidetoDIY ya that’s the black thing I’m talking about. It did move freely to position the camera how I wanted it when I first installed it, now it’s like the ball joint is stuck no matter how I screw/unscrew the collar and I can only adjust the position slightly. I had to take it off to replace the batteries.
Great video. I will buy this. Thanks. One question, did you drill holes on the soffit or used existing holes? I am not sure if the holes position and size matching the screws?
It is connected via Wi-Fi. If a Wi-Fi jammer is initiated, I imagine it would block that transmission and the Blink console would send notification that one or all devices was unreachable. Great question. Thanks so much for watching.
dang I missed the deal when they were 189 for 5! But hey, can these work while AWAY from home with your phone being off? Or does this run off DATA usage? Example Say im at work, I only have DATA at work, will I be able to see whats going on at home with my DATA on? What if my data runs out? Does this wear out our data when actively recording? I work 9 to 5 so I would have them running from that time frame. Also can you activate or ARM these while AWAY from home?
Good questions. If you have Wi-Fi at the house, then they will not be using your phone data. Your phone data will only be used when you are looking at the video (either live or a recorded alert). If your data runs out, you’ll need to connect your phone to Wi-Fi like at Starbucks or some place in order to see the video. I hope that makes sense. Thanks so much for watching and for asking.
Michael, thanks so much for the feedback. I'm sorry this video did not meet your needs. I really work hard to provide as much instructional information in as short amount of time as possible. Perhaps you were able to get your questions answered elsewhere. I'd be curious what you were looking for as I'm always looking for ways to be more helpful. Thanks again.

Aw, Lanette, you are quite welcome. Thank you for watching.
My mount ball won’t move. How do you adjust it? I’ve tried unscrewing g and screwing the black circle
You should have a threaded collar to loosen.

Great question. I used the holes in the soffit. They lined up.
Is it also connected with wifi ??
Wat happened if wifi jammer is activated.

Check back around Black Friday.. it was a good deal
Still hanging?
Absolutely!
What battery does it have?
2 AA batteries.
how long it last?
I bet the backing tape would have stuck if you soffits were not so filthy.☹
🤣🤣🤣. You’re probably right!
Someone can come from behind and take it down you need another camera facing the same way
But if that happen you should get a notification something happened and call the police or secure your home.
no down aero, bad video
Sorry it didn’t meet your needs. Thanks so much for the feedback and for watching. Any suggestions?
