  • Walking In The Opposite Direction is a feature documentary film about the tragic struggle of post-#punk singer and songwriter Adrian Borland and his band The Sound. The documentary had its UK premiere at the #ICA on April 26th 2017, marking the 18th anniversary of Adrian’s passing.
On this Q&A film director Marc Waltman, producer Jean-Paul Van Mierlo and Adrian's manager Stephen Budd, have a chat with music journalist Karen Shook about passion and success, working with small budgets, the limitations on the film creation, with plenty of anecdotes and facts about the life of Adrian.

hopefully in the future the dude that made the documentary does some combo pack with the record company that owns the rights to The Sound's catalogue and they release some collection which includes the documentary like what happened with the Michael Bloomfield documentary which came with a compilation pack for like 60 bucks.
