You are 100% correct! I didn't really think about switching it on the fly, but that surely can help even Turn Based players get that powerful ambush going!
I wanted to comment the same thing. Generally there are times when you want to use real time even if you fight turn base. Also if you play real time rarely, instead make it quick just keep pressing V for slow motion, and releasing V also insta stops, you can re issue command when the AI send your caster trough an attack of opportunity

You are correct. It was actually my first time doing it for Unfair, and it did make a huge difference for Chapter 1, where even a 1 level difference can matter a lot!
ahh, I consider myself an expert, played 5-6 unfair full runs, but never thought of this. bit of a cheese, but most of the tips for unfair are. :) Thanks!
Very useful!! Been following your guides and builds and it helps so much. Stop following around level 14 and can say i can start build my own character now! thank you so much. I only disagree with one thing, HOW DARE YOU ASK ME TO USE MY CONSUMABLESSS?? i need to hoard them all and save it later!!
Glad to hear you're having fun with the game now, Pathfinder can be complex at first but after a while as you learn more about the mechanics and such, it can really make for a very fun and fulfilling experience 😀 And yep, I used to hoard all my potions and consumables in games like Baldur's Gate too, thankfully I've long been "cured" of it 😁
I've had this issue. I have like 700 hours played and only completed the game twice because I keep rolling and messing with different characters and builds.
Great tip on the Charge+Evil eye combo. A variation of this is what currently helping me on my unfair playthrough. Just got to Act3. I throw in a Vital strike from Lann, and charge with my front line and ask arue to attack at the same time. Lann and Arue are with G.Inv targeting the flat-footed AC, and also have ' Bit of Luck' from sosiel to counter the damned load dice of this game XD As the round begins, unless it's a super-tough encounter like a glabrezu, most enemies just explode instantly using this tactic, and even allows me to mow down groups. Just used the same tactic at 'Greengates', and mowed down that group with the Derakni Devastator, Vrocks, kalavakus..etc. Throw in a guarded hearth and it gets even more obscene.
One thing I can't believe you didn't mention here are the summoning items. Tankard of Free Spirit in particular has saved my butt on Unfair more times than I can remember, and you get it right in Act 1
Another tip to get past demon physical resistance in Act I is to get your weapon up to +3 enchantment (or higher), which will make it count as cold iron. Only a bit later that you can get it to +5, making your weapons count as good as well - this is very possible before even the end of Act 1. The simplest way to do this is by using the Greater Magic Weapon spell, which you can cast from level 5 on a wizard, and will last for 5 hours; it will change a +2 weapon into a +3, making it effectively cold iron for 5 hours. The way it is coded, if you cast it at different amounts, it will stack, meaning you can case the L1 spell Magic Weapon to get a +1 to enchantment, and if you cast Greater Magic weapon at caster-level 8, it will give a +2 bonus, which because it's a different amount counts as a different source and will stack, giving you a total increase of +3, making it possible to get your +2 weapons to +5 weapons very early in the game (which means they will inherently pass magic, cold iron, adamantine, and alignment-based damage resistances). A level 6 arcanist can boost their caster level to 8 using potent magic, so can do this by or before the Gray Garrison. In addition to this, some classes can inherently buff their weapon's enchantment bonuses, such as maguses and paladins, and this should also allow you to bypass demon damage resistance.
@@Krothu By making a non-magic weapon +1, yes, this causes them to become magic and bypass magic damage resistance. However, in the Pathfinder rules, once the enhancement bonus reaches certain levels the weapon automatically counts as bypassing other kinds of damage resistance (+2 = silver, +3 = cold iron, +4 = adamantine, +5 = alignment). I can confirm (unless something has broken or changed in a recent patch!) from my own games that this rule is properly implemented in WotR, and +3 weapons will hit most demons (i.e. the ones whose dr is cold-iron based), and getting your bonus to +3 via any means at all is sufficient, whether that is from the Magic Weapon spell or a class ability.
@@Alister222222 Yes that is true if the weapon enchantment was that bouns. The spell goes like this "This spell functions like magic weapon, except that it gives a weapon an enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls of +1 per four caster levels (maximum +5). This bonus does not allow a weapon to bypass damage reduction aside from magic." as you can see it specifies not bypassing any damage reduction expet magic
@@Krothu I can confirm 100% that it works as I described (at least it has up until my last run, a few weeks ago) - I cannot say if that is a bug or not. Modifying your weapon's enchantment level via a spell, in WotR at least, does in fact cause it to bypass the varying types of damage resistance. I do assume that there are some coding issues around the spell, such as it appears they have used the same buff for Magic Weapon and Greater Magic Weapon, or specifically they have 5 different buffs, for each level (+1 ,+2, +3, etc), and they don't check to make them exclusive. If you have magic weapon on a weapon for +1, and cast greater magic weapon for +1, it will overwrite the magic weapon for no gain. However if you cast greater magic weapon it for +2, it will apply as a separate buff that does in fact stack. The only thing it seems to check for is to cap the enchantment to +5. When you examine a weapon that has been enchanted in this way, you'll see that it's enhancement bonus is given as the new level. The way it is coded, it appears to count the weapon, for all purposes, as having the new enhancement level, and I can absolutely confirm that allows it to bypass the things a weapon of that level should bypass (again with the disclaimer that I haven't played a full run since the last patch). There are other quirks to the spell that work but probably shouldn't, such as you are able to enchant a kinetic blade, which is a bit of a tip for any kineticists out there that want another +5 to hit that you might not think you could get.
Thanks cRPG Bro for your intelligent and helpful videos I am now much improved Pathfinder Kingmaker / Wrath Of The Righteous player that now plays on higher difficulties in part due to your guidance.
Companion Builds I try to release on separate videos, Aeon Guide will also be very soon, just need to finish Chapter 6! I wanted something for new players due to the newly released Enhanced Edition, and I know the beginning/early game can be quite daunting.
@@cRPGBro No doubt cause this game is not Solasta or Divinity Original Sin. Love both those games but WOTR is way more complexed and way more fun to play to me. Just way more creativity, items, battles, and laughs. There is some good chatter in Solasta and Divinity but not like WOTR.
Video idea for ya: Real-Time with pause vs Turn based mode. When I was starting out (and overall) I preferred turn based mode since I can see what was happening and plan my strategy better. But since playing unfair I found that real-time is much easier since the AI is a lot dumber in that mode and you get to get by a lot of encounters that way, where as in turn based mode the AI would more often ignore your front lines and go for the squishy targets and game over you. Also a couple of encounters are just straight BS on turn based (the hidden door during the Gray Garrison assault, where even though you're "surprising" the enemy by coming from a secret passage, they get to go normally and you're in such a tight space against 2 fireball demons. Even with resist fire communal they wiped my squad in 1-2 turns) I still think turn based is more fun, but having every roll displayed front and center can lead to frustration sometimes (like, no way the AI is not cheating by the amount of 1's I am rolling) The cheesiest way of playing is of course starting in real-time for the ambush and then switching to turn based when you closed the distance and damage is dealt
Fucking 1’s!!! How is it possible that my 5 attacks all rolled 1’s!! I literally went back and grabbed the mythic ability like halfway through and hitting on one’s feels so great, lol!
What a kind, beautiful, genuinely helpful and clearly profoundly rich in experience video. A video out of pure passion. Thank you so much dude. Also, let me ask you, if you see this comment despite it being on an old video: Are you Brazillian? I ask because I am and your accent sounds a little similar to mine hahah
I just played Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous about a week ago and I'm just overwhelmed with all the mechanics in this game (combat, defense, builds, stats, etc) however I'm so hooked with the story which is good. Still currently in Chapter 4. If there's one thing I want Owlcat to do is to be more specific on the definitions or reword it to be more understandable and probably give small video examples on some mechanics. I can't wrap my head around Hellfire Ray or other ranged magic spells as a "touch attack" when it basically tells you to touch the enemy. Lmao! Also some feats and abilities are like so tricky in their description like some of it says adds natural armor so it cant probably stack with other natural armor or buffs you have but it does. They couldve placed "unique" on some of it to classify that it can stack with other armors etc. It's a bit frustrating'when you're still new to the game but ill continue to play it since since I really like the lore and story. Anyhow, this is my first playthrough and I'm learning alot of new stuff from your videos. Keep it up!
I assume a lot of the gameplay advice is basically relevant for Kingmaker? I mean they are both Pathfinder 1e games. Great content, I haven’t found a RUclips channel that explained stuff as clearly as you do. It’s really helped me get a feel for these overwhelming games 😅
Really helpful been struggling on Core for a while now as a master of all rogue. Currently stuck at the optional water elemental that my completionist side wont let me just give up on it or lower the difficulty...still fun despite the struggles so far tho. Quick question, would you recommend picking up every piece of loot on every dungeon to sell at the soonest opportunity or should I be more selective with that? Not sure how much of an effect encumbrance will have on my party besides the fact that I'll get fatigue faster
I have a Guide for Water Elemental on Unfair here: ruclips.net/video/N6aZOD5Pc_U/видео.html Ideally you want Grease, but if you don't have it, then you definitely need to charge out of battle and also go for Evil Eye ambush as I show in this guide. Cast Enlarge/Enlarge pots on Seelah + other melees, depending on class of main character you might also have True Strike. I really prefer to leave tanking the Elemental to a pet with a conveniently placed Protection/Resist Cold potion you can find in the Maze. I definitely recommend picking almost everything besides some heavy items with low sell value. Encumbrance is only a problem at the very beginning. If you go with at least 2 Pets, you'll pretty much never get encumbered eventually. Remember that for some dungeons, you can actually leave the loot until when leaving so you don't have to travel inside while encumbered!
Love the videos. I am very grateful that you continue to make these guides since there isn't a ton of material out for WoTR, at least, not proportionally to it's potential in builds and strategy diversity. Do you have a Legend Mythic Path guide? I recently switch to that after I couldn't fully commit to some of the things Zak demands of an emergent Lich.
I’m going to be starting WotR as soon as I finish Kingmaker (been thinking that for awhile now, and Kingmaker just keeps proving to be a longer game than I anticipated). Something I’ve been mulling over is mixing a couple of Paladin levels (CHA to saves) with rogue, monk, or ranger (targeting evasion) and a hefty dose of inquisitor for its evasion equivalent for fort and will saves, targeting sort of an “oh your ability offers a saving throw? That’s cute” build. In your experience, would that seem to be viable path (I’ll probably play somewhere around a middling difficulty; I’m not really looking for a punishing experience). Functionally sort of a particularly survivable second rank fighter (reach weapons) who throws around a lot of buffs.
Do you have any plans for inquisitor build for EE? I kinda like this class and would like to see build you would create. Great video btw, you are my favourite RUclips contact creator for site :)
Complete Inquisitor Guide would be fun indeed as I've recently covered Divine Hound for my Aeon Guide. And thank you so much! Nice words are always wecome and appreciated 😀
You actually get a full alpha strike turn on turn based as well, see the icon under the enemies, it's showing they aren't getting a turn this round. The drawback is because you go one by one, your characters can end up blockign each other and i don't think you can manipulate the order of actions like you did with Cam on the cultist champion
You can do the alpha strike, switch to turn-based and then still get a full round with no enemy attacks (because you get advantage on initiative checks if you surprise an enemy). Essentially 2 free rounds.
I'm always really bad at managing spell slots and kind of never using them, is there any kind of penalty for resting too many times? I'm also using real time for the most part so would I just pause the game at moments and just manually cast a spell then unpause?
How do i fix the screen format? Fullscreen or not, changing res , nothing i do sorts the aspect ratio. Makes the video unpalatable to watch unfortunately. Is there a way im missing or is it because of the way he uploaded it?
Could you do a short video highlighting useful mods like Bubblebuffs? I'd never heard of it but this is a gamechanger and folks like Bubbles deserve more shout outs
Thank you! I have tried this Achievement yet, but I have heard many good things about Kineticist for it since it basically doesn't require much resting if any!
On ps5 it gets old trying to keep buffs . They need to make buffs last longer until rest or something . Then I'm fully buffed for easy fights but caught off guard on hard ones .
Hi. I start one run at hard, and was needing to retry every major fight at the maze, but in the end I was able to defeat all. Since I just read that the normal was core, I started a core to see the difference. At the maze every fight seems easy , regarding the water elemental and boss. Should I stays at hard ? I like difficult games and to think the buffs etc that I should use! Thanks for all the pathfinder creations content.
Thank you for all of your videos! I just wondered, regarding BubbleBuff... Does it still allow achievements? I'm a new player, slowly slogging through act 1 on core. I'm finding buffing to be tedious but I realise I ideally need to be doing it before every encounter. I also don't want to miss out on any tasty achievements. Help!?
Hi there and apologies for the late reply. I cover that on my updated Modding Guide: ruclips.net/video/4VZC8nK4mNQ/видео.html By default any mod will block achievements, however there is an option in the ToyBox mod to allow them back 😃
I play as angel mythic and want a skald mercenary in my party but in your guides you have skald as trickster. Is it not viable for me to have skald mercenary as an angel? I thouht of a bard as well but it's for azata which isn't suited for me. What do you advice?
Skald Trickster is just a way to play them for the main character. However, a normal mercenary Skald is fine too, you basically just ignore the Mythic Path specific progression, but keep the rest. I think my latest 2H or Throwing Axe Skald Guide works great for mercs: ruclips.net/video/f9rkdm4RXOQ/видео.html
4:25 Do you have to be in real time mode to use this alpha strike opener? I've tried doing it on turn based but it stops me as soon as the enemies detect me charging.
It works better in real time, but from what I have heard and experienced, in Turn Based it will still at least shift the first turn order into your favor by having your party act first before the enemies.
I really prefer Real Time, and have actually enjoyed it a lot ever since the days of Baldur's Gate. I know a lot prefer Turn Based, however. Real Time to me is because of how much faster it is, and I think there's a lot of synergy for especially Teamwork Feats in Pathfinder to have all your characters attack "simultaneously". Turn Based I find to be very slow considering how numerous both the battles and also the enemy packs can be, but it's great that you can switch between them at will in Wrath, so you can save Turn Based for battles you prefer instead of against all so called "trashmob" encounters.
I find them both useful in different situations. Some encounters are 100% not designed for turn-based, as they take forever and the mechanics work against you (for example, the Defender's Heart scripted encounter). In turn-based mode, however, you have the ability to make sure your characters are making perfect use of their action, move action, and swift action each round, to maximize their effectiveness. You also have the ability to take five-foot steps in turn based mode, which you do not in real-time mode (to do this, hold ctrl to lock your movement to 5' iirc). The five-foot step is free movement that allows you to step out of an enemy's reach without provoking an attack of opportunity, or reposition yourself for an attack and still make a full attack. It opens up a lot of options you don't have in real-time. That said, real-time generally flows much better in this game, and you'll definitely want to be playing mostly in real-time by the end, because the fights just get so danged huge and long otherwise. Once your build comes together, you can expect to have enough resilience to stay alive for most late game encounters without needing turn-based.
I was wondering ... are reach weapons a good idea when doing mounted combat? Wouldnt that make your pet unable to attack because it is not close enough to the enemy?
on another note, if you ride the Azata specific "mount" you sort of need a reach weapon as the mount has reach from its long neck meaning it will try to stay out of your melee weapon range....
Restoration & Lesser Restoration! Pretty sure one of the Succubus there can Level Drain you for example, and without Restoration you won't be able to recover it, even when resting if you are on Core and above.
Summoner is indeed a class in the tabletop, that is focused on getting a very powerful outsider ally permanently that you build and develop as you see fit and increase character levels!
Has anyone noticed grease and other crowd control spells being bugged on the tavern defense battle? They would cast but had not effect on anyone. No rolls were made for any effects.
I laid down 3 different greases and a pit and a entangle all in one battle. None of them did anything to anyone. I think it must have been a bug. I just ground through the battle anyways though.
Apologies for late reply, but I prefer real time because it is much better and has great synergy with ambushing/alpha strikes together with Teamwork feats like Outflank.
Is there any way to fully respec companies? It irritates me the stats are thrown all over the place. It would also be nice to change their classes, if not is there a way to buff mercenaries stats?
Shelyn as well as Baphomet has Glaive as favoured weapon.Shelyn wields the Whisperer of Souls, an evil glaive she took from her brother Zon-Kuthon. Baphomet wields the glaive Aizerghaul.
Usually it's between Lesser Restoration (ability damage) and Restoration (level drain) for most annoying permanent effects. For other ones you have Remove Disease & Blindness, but later Heal is more than enough 😀
That would be Lann as a Divine Hound: ruclips.net/video/o-W_5RYP6pY/видео.html But I also have more updated builds for him here: ruclips.net/video/d26WOZUJnTE/видео.html
You can only have 1 per character, besides Aivu later for Azata. But it's just a matter of multiclassing one of the early companions like Lann & Wenduag into a Pet Class for more!
I was thinking of adding it to the Guide, but ended up forgetting I think, welp. The gist of it is to turn XP only for active companions, HOWEVER, be sure to turn it back off when during dialogue recruiting events for new companions, so the new ones will scale fully to whatever level you had at the moment. There are some key points in the story where companions will also fully scale back to your level, even if you already recruited them by doing this, such as after the Gargoyle Attack, I believe.
Quarterstaff Monk is pretty disgusting in WotR. Dips in DD and Mutation Warrior for extra stats and Mage Armor, I would unlock DD through Stigmatized Witch. There are good Quarterstaffs in every chapter and you scale AC nicely through wis to ac, witch, DD and mutagen.
Thank you for this great guide video. This fame is really not new player friendly. The dice roll rng in combat is pure bullshit. Divinity OS/2 are so much better in this aspect.
The thing that drives me crazy is how to get rid of crap is unclear. To many different healing spells and the joyous lvl 7 spell that gets rid of all emotion effects doesn’t even work..
Yeah, it can be a bit troublesome at times. But usually, Unbreakable Heart for most Confusion effects, and Lesser/Normal Restoration for Ability Damage, Drain & Level Drain. Heal can cure a LOT of negative debuffs too.
Another way you can get more money in Chapter 1 is to farm random encounters. I tend to do this if I am soloing/2-manning, just run around after you've done all the time-sensitive stuff and kill random encounters in the city for a few hours to boost your xp. A lot of the random enemies drop masterwork weapons and composite bows, all of which sell for 100g, making it quite common to get 200-400g worth of junk from a single random encounter.
Could you please do a video listing missables and hidden timers? For example, I didn't know I had to make a second perception check to ally Nurah. I think it would be very popular.
That's a good idea! I still remember missing the Ascension Ending the first time because I didn't fire the crossbow at Deskari at the start and also missed a Perception check during one of the Areelu convos.
@@cRPGBro Areelu perception check in act 4 is impossible I had +63 perception on Aru and still can't make that. Do you need actually your PC and not party member to pass perception check?
@@pawep2966 Nahh, I had way below that (like 40 something) and still got it. Maybe that character was too far from the dialogue scene? Idk what else affects it. My difficulty was Hard.
I'm having a problem with my party, they are too OP. just steamrolling over everything on core difficulty before i can even cast the high level lich spells as a witch-lich. great guides.
I know pet is OP, in fact Seelah with pets has way higher damage than divine weapon bond by far - she can kill few enemies in one turn easy. But the thing is in this game, i felt like pet are destroying the whole game system and balance, its like pet became "must have" especially for tanking, if not your team wont have high survive rate and raw damage power, especially in higher difficulty, its like class without pet became less favor, or everyone has to start with class with pet and then only mix max to other class. I really hope someone can come out with a team to conquer high difficulty level without pet at all, will that doable?
It is true that pets are so OP that it makes not having them feel akin to losing a lot of potential power. I imagine doing the higher difficulties without pets is certainly doable, but at least on Unfair it means taking a lot longer/more reloads for the early game which I'd find pretty annoying.
@cRPG Bro yeah, I did one run with Seelah with divide weapon bond and Seelah with horse, its so much different, the thing is you can use a lot of different buff to replace or enhance weapon damage - in fact since elemental barrage nerfed, a lot of weapon enchantment is pretty useless now, but nothing in this game able to replace pets, and that's why pet is so op.

Glad to hear you're having fun with the game now, Pathfinder can be complex at first but after a while as you learn more about the mechanics and such, it can really make for a very fun and fulfilling experience 😀
And yep, I used to hoard all my potions and consumables in games like Baldur's Gate too, thankfully I've long been "cured" of it 😁
You have become my go-to for all things WOTR. Now if I could just decide what I actually want to play...
Lol, pick what you want then go with Legend mythic path. You can be a wizard, warrior, and rogue all in one.
@@crazyfnjoey Actually, in Baldur's Gate 2 I did exactly that (multiclassed all 3). That may actually be a wonderful idea.
Lann and Arue are with G.Inv targeting the flat-footed AC, and also have ' Bit of Luck' from sosiel to counter the damned load dice of this game XD
As the round begins, unless it's a super-tough encounter like a glabrezu, most enemies just explode instantly using this tactic, and even allows me to mow down groups.
Just used the same tactic at 'Greengates', and mowed down that group with the Derakni Devastator, Vrocks, kalavakus..etc.
Throw in a guarded hearth and it gets even more obscene.
Yep, the ambush strategy is really one of my faves, especially for Unfair!
One thing I can't believe you didn't mention here are the summoning items. Tankard of Free Spirit in particular has saved my butt on Unfair more times than I can remember, and you get it right in Act 1
It can also stun all of your melee characters at once and foil your plans :)
@@kiratt77 Hahahahah, happened to me.
Summons can be useful as distractions indeed, or even for damage with Creeping Doom + Mark of Justice!
In addition to this, some classes can inherently buff their weapon's enchantment bonuses, such as maguses and paladins, and this should also allow you to bypass demon damage resistance.
doesn't magic weapon and greater magic weapon specify that they only bypass DR/magic ? abd not any other damage reduction
This bonus does not allow a weapon to bypass damage reduction aside from magic."
as you can see it specifies not bypassing any damage reduction expet magic
That is a really nice tip indeed!
I often forget higher enchantments can also bypass certain DR types.
Can’t wait till u can get to the other mythic classes
Your the only one going through all the classes as well making it easy to understand and follow
Aeon is up next, but after that I'll definitely cover the missing Mythics too like Legend, Gold Dragon, Devil and even the ultimate evil, Swarm!
Love the pathfinder games, good content man!
Thanks, mate!
Thanks cRPG Bro for your intelligent and helpful videos I am now much improved Pathfinder Kingmaker / Wrath Of The Righteous player that now plays on higher difficulties in part due to your guidance.
lol I was expecting a companion build or your Aeon build. This guide should help the unfamiliar players out a lot though so good looking out.
Video idea for ya:
Real-Time with pause vs Turn based mode.
Even with resist fire communal they wiped my squad in 1-2 turns)
I still think turn based is more fun, but having every roll displayed front and center can lead to frustration sometimes (like, no way the AI is not cheating by the amount of 1's I am rolling)
The cheesiest way of playing is of course starting in real-time for the ambush and then switching to turn based when you closed the distance and damage is dealt
Fucking 1’s!!! How is it possible that my 5 attacks all rolled 1’s!! I literally went back and grabbed the mythic ability like halfway through and hitting on one’s feels so great, lol!
It's an interesting idea for a video!
I personally prefer Real Time for the faster action and the bigger synergy with Charge + AoOs/Teamwork Feats.
Amazing work as always!
Thank you!
Thank you so much the support!

Love these! Still waiting with bated breath for Aeon guide!
It's finally here, thankfully: ruclips.net/video/9Ia14Fq26e8/видео.html
Keep it up!
I think some videos to accompany the mechanics tutorial Owlcat gives you would indeed help a lot!
Hope you figured it out bud
Your guides have been very helpful. Thanks buddy.
Glad I could help, friend!
I assume a lot of the gameplay advice is basically relevant for Kingmaker? I mean they are both Pathfinder 1e games. Great content, I haven’t found a RUclips channel that explained stuff as clearly as you do. It’s really helped me get a feel for these overwhelming games 😅
great tips!
I have a Guide for Water Elemental on Unfair here: ruclips.net/video/N6aZOD5Pc_U/видео.html
Ideally you want Grease, but if you don't have it, then you definitely need to charge out of battle and also go for Evil Eye ambush as I show in this guide.
Legend is coming up next now that I'm finally done with the Aeon Path 😀
Lots of good info in here
Tried to gather the most important ones for new players and such!
Protection from Evil will help a ton with the succubus. Prevents her mind control/charm.
That is very good to know, so Ambush really is OP even for turn based 😀
Between you and mort I would have never made it out of act 1. Cheers
Always happy to help 😀
I'm always really bad at managing spell slots and kind of never using them, is there any kind of penalty for resting too many times? I'm also using real time for the most part so would I just pause the game at moments and just manually cast a spell then unpause?
How do i fix the screen format? Fullscreen or not, changing res , nothing i do sorts the aspect ratio. Makes the video unpalatable to watch unfortunately. Is there a way im missing or is it because of the way he uploaded it?
Great video! Kind of unrelated but I have noticed that you never really have Arueshalae in your party; why is that?
Thank you!
I just usually prefer Lann or Wenduag over Aru as I find them to be way more customizable, coming way earlier.
Alpha strikes are really good I literally melted zacharius on unfair after running away and waiting for displacement to go off🎉🎉
Thank you.
Hope it helped!
Could you do a short video highlighting useful mods like Bubblebuffs? I'd never heard of it but this is a gamechanger and folks like Bubbles deserve more shout outs
I have one here: ruclips.net/video/dAdtKjo8kKs/видео.html
But I'll also release an updated version pretty soon!
Love your videos! Can you make one on completing the sadistic game design achievement?
Thank you!
I have tried this Achievement yet, but I have heard many good things about Kineticist for it since it basically doesn't require much resting if any!
Are you planning to do updated builds for the rest of the companions?
100% yes!
It's just that Aeon run from start to end took a... LOT of time to do, welp.
I cover that on my updated Modding Guide: ruclips.net/video/4VZC8nK4mNQ/видео.html
By default any mod will block achievements, however there is an option in the ToyBox mod to allow them back 😃
I play as angel mythic and want a skald mercenary in my party but in your guides you have skald as trickster.
I flip to turn base during important fights . So I can see what's going on .
I guess Owclat really wanted to prove your "Pets can do everything except cast spells" being incorrect with their Hag of Gyronna 🤣
Turn base or real time, what do you prefer?
I really prefer Real Time, and have actually enjoyed it a lot ever since the days of Baldur's Gate.
I know a lot prefer Turn Based, however.
Real Time to me is because of how much faster it is, and I think there's a lot of synergy for especially Teamwork Feats in Pathfinder to have all your characters attack "simultaneously".
Turn Based I find to be very slow considering how numerous both the battles and also the enemy packs can be, but it's great that you can switch between them at will in Wrath, so you can save Turn Based for battles you prefer instead of against all so called "trashmob" encounters.
both
I find them both useful in different situations.
I do mixed but prefer real time unless the battle is going to be tough.
I was wondering ... are reach weapons a good idea when doing mounted combat? Wouldnt that make your pet unable to attack because it is not close enough to the enemy?
Many pets become Large at level 7 which gives them reach as well. Just something to consider!
on another note, if you ride the Azata specific "mount" you sort of need a reach weapon as the mount has reach from its long neck meaning it will try to stay out of your melee weapon range....
I have used mounted combat both with and without reach weapons, even with large pets, and it worked fine!
Late, but thank you.
god I love this game
Any scrolls/potions that are must haves before going into gray keep?
Restoration & Lesser Restoration!
Pretty sure one of the Succubus there can Level Drain you for example, and without Restoration you won't be able to recover it, even when resting if you are on Core and above.
Does "Selective spell" impact the lingering effects of spell? I didn't know that.
Yep, it will make spells like Grease enemy only, which is great!
I've my own advice for the game. For the love of GOD, prepare restoration. Negative levels and ability drain can cripple you
9:49 I saw the word summoners, is that a class in the tabletop version?
Summoner is indeed a class in the tabletop, that is focused on getting a very powerful outsider ally permanently that you build and develop as you see fit and increase character levels!
@@cRPGBro Damn! Exactly the class I wanted in the first place.
Where is the Aeon guide? I feel the craving.
The Lord of Cosmic Balance has finally arrived: ruclips.net/video/9Ia14Fq26e8/видео.html
Has anyone noticed grease and other crowd control spells being bugged on the tavern defense battle? They would cast but had not effect on anyone. No rolls were made for any effects.
It was working for me the last time I did it with Selective Grease for my Aeon run, perhaps it is something only in the newest patch?
I laid down 3 different greases and a pit and a entangle all in one battle. None of them did anything to anyone. I think it must have been a bug. I just ground through the battle anyways though.
should I play on real time or turn based?
Apologies for late reply, but I prefer real time because it is much better and has great synergy with ambushing/alpha strikes together with Teamwork feats like Outflank.
Is there any way to fully respec companies? It irritates me the stats are thrown all over the place. It would also be nice to change their classes, if not is there a way to buff mercenaries stats?
It can be done with access to mods like ToyBox!
@@cRPGBro Christmas came early, thank you my dude!!

Glaive is the favoured weappon if Shelyn, not Baphomet or not?
This is why I shat on Cleric and made Sosiel a Two Handed Fighter.
Shelyn as well as Baphomet has Glaive as favoured weapon.Shelyn wields the Whisperer of Souls, an evil glaive she took from her brother Zon-Kuthon. Baphomet wields the glaive Aizerghaul.

It's BubbleBuffs indeed, I have a Modding Guide for it here: ruclips.net/video/4VZC8nK4mNQ/видео.html
I struggle with permanent effects while playing on core. For example how to cure negative levels and stuff.
Usually it's between Lesser Restoration (ability damage) and Restoration (level drain) for most annoying permanent effects.
For other ones you have Remove Disease & Blindness, but later Heal is more than enough 😀
Uma pena não ter legendas em pt ou guia em PT haha
lovely, gimme them tipppps
More coming soon too!
Quick question, who is the other one with the pet?

@@cRPGBro Thanks!
How'd you get 2 pets at the start of the game?
You can only have 1 per character, besides Aivu later for Azata.
But it's just a matter of multiclassing one of the early companions like Lann & Wenduag into a Pet Class for more!
where's the exp trick tho.
Hey man do u have any monk build ?
Not yet, but Monk Guide for EE is on my to do list!
Glad I could help!
Wrath can be made a lot more enjoyable once you get the hang of the most important mechanics.
@@cRPGBro thanks bro. Ur videos are a huge help also
I hate early game so much. So many missed attacks, no $$ for things like potions, and barely any spells for buffing and healing
Yep, it can be annoying which is why my builds often have an early game power focus to them as well!
What mod was that?
BubbleBuffs, I cover it here: ruclips.net/video/dAdtKjo8kKs/видео.html
Yikes... 30000 gold in chapter 1. Last time I played it I only got up to 7000 gold. I'm missing something.
Sell all the equipment you do not need in Chapter 1.
It's mostly about selling all the gear you don't need.
Chapter 1 has a lot of enchant weapons and such but most are very... wimpy effects wise.
Br?
Bro owlcat wants 10k subs for partner. Lmao are they fucking real
@@paralysekid I think I only passed it once when I used toybox to roll 20 out of combat.
I'm having a problem with my party, they are too OP. just steamrolling over everything on core difficulty before i can even cast the high level lich spells as a witch-lich. great guides.
Yeah, that can help when you go Merged Lich or Angel, hah!
