Welp, you guys broke RUclips 🤣
I'm loving this production quality!
Yeah
EmotionalMoose well im da one
Transformosaur dude!..quality is so fucking good! i would pay
to watch it as a tv show!!!
Transformosaur
They should just a band
Damn, the triangle player from Dragonforce can shred!
Yeah
Lol its so funny like every one kind a see him as the triangle player
@@davidvashum3572 what are you talking about? He is the triangle player for dragonforce
He also did a online jam with dragonforce on Twitch, if you don't know. You can see it on the dragonforce RUclips channel.
Check his channel. He's amazing af
jared is such a good drummer he kept playing the drums by using the force when his solo came.
if u look he mouths oh shit when picking up the guitaar
@@darius9017 he almost forgot that he had a guitar part as well
When his solo came, I came too
No, he played with his feet.
Stevie is really underappreciated in the comments section. The solo was mind blowing
Yeah he’s insanely good
I think it's maybe just so expected and obvious these days. He is ridiculously smooth.
well there is a reason why dragonforce wanted him to come on tour with them
I feel he got more camera time than Sarah and Tyler. The opening riff kinda screams Stevie T
Personally I like his playing the best
This needs to happen more often.
patrick flynn indeed, but probably not because logistics.... But that what makes this colabs special even more...
if it will be more often then it will not be so cool
Mc pat flynn????
patrick flynn no it does not. Cant believe a song w jared n steve sux so bad. Leave the justin bieber shit outta metal.
It takes a while to make stuff like this. They actually started Recording Months ago. If they did this more often they wouldn't have time for there own stuff.
When you label your bassist so he won’t get lost
Christopher Moore haha
@spectresoundstudios
lul
Christopher Moore big ol nametag huh?
Savage
You know what guys this is so inspiring!! Exciting times for RUclipsrs who are becoming well respected in the music industry. Makes me so excited to see this kind of thing happening! Hats off to you 🤘🤘
Karl Golden wow wasnt expecting to see you here i love your vids how you been
RUclipsrs respected in music? Luke holland accomplished that years ago making the jump from a cover video artist to the word alive.
Thats great man!
Hey man! \m/
ruclips.net/video/g3I3QWGeYf8/видео.html
You folks really got something unique going here. I mean, that song is all over the place in terms of dynamics, genres and moods, yet it all locks in and becomes a coherent and beautiful piece of music. Well done, and greetings from Denmark :)
Svensk här.
its like dream theater
Jaydin Hill Speaking of Dream Theater, this ought to be a band, and Fricker should produce their album. I'd love to see that!
It really isn't. It sounds pretty generic, it's not bad but it's just a metal song. I mean, yeah they play amazing, technichally speaking, but the only original part for me is sarah's.
Yeah. It somehow worked, I watched with a big cheesy smile on my face.
I love how different everyone's solos were.
Steve: fleet fingered shredding masterpiece. And somehow he keeps it melodic and tasteful. He's so good, we expect nothing less anymore.
Tyler: fun, raunchy, rockin string bend fest. Looked like he was having more fun than anyone ever thought possible.
DJared: pure wankery at its finest. He plays super fast and throws in so many tricks so fast, you might not be able to absorb them all in one listen.
Sarah: Understated Virtuosity. Decides to solo during the clean sections and shows her unique style of 8 string goodness. I personally would've loved to see her throw down on the heavy sections as well but I appreciate her willingness to serve the song.
All phenomenal players. And Adam I was hearing that bass holding down the groove. Truthfully this song was kind of a Kindergarten level jaunt for a Bassist with Doctorate level musical knowledge.
Peace sells type versatile!
Respect for thy comment!
Adam probably had a big part in writing with Sarah for her parts. Her bit is a little different than what I normally hear from her (or maybe not, I don’t listen to her all the time) and probably helped a lot in the production process.
honestly i didnt like jared's solo. even the slower melodic parts he added in between the dumb wankery wasnt thought out and didnt even fit the song harmonically. and the solo was more parts and material than an actual connected solo
Yeah I could go for an album of just Adam on bass and Sarah on guitar. Would be a cool ambient project.
Great job everyone!
Dr. Rockyowitz It would be be much more tasteful without the Terreberry signature "DRRRT-TT-TT-DRAA-TT" and the generic vocals
This needs to happen
+ Rob Scallon and Rick Beato
I found myself wishing the entire song was based off that awesome intro!
Definitely an Animals as Leaders vibe goin on there
Fun fact: from 4:02 onwards, Jared is still drumming by holding the sticks between his toes. Strange that they cropped it out of the shot.
It's not often you see the drummer get a guitar solo!
4:02
Jimb0tr0n - yeah, that fucker can't leave any talent for the rest of us, ha ha.
Jared dines is an actual god
Neat trick at a gig... could you imagine how nuts people would go!
Stevie for someone who is nervous about playing in a band you need to be in one you absolutely nailed this dude keep rocking
Haha he's ok with playing in a band, he's just unable to play in front of 10 people...
Don't forget his back up vocals
Adam , wheres the jazz reharmonization
I missed some polytonality!
At the start of Sarahs solo he snuck in some tasty notes ;)
Ishaan Parikh I NEED SOME *MOAN* jaaAAZZZZZZZZZ ADAMMMMM *moans again at the thought of JaZzz*
Elijah Herrell yep
I bet if you look deep into Adam's bassline you will find the Lick somewhere.
Now Stevie T needs to put this through a bad translation :)
So the drummer gets a guitar solo, but ADAM NEELY doesn't get a BASS solo?
Ðani Lightbourne he made a video on how bass solos suck go watch it man
Yet I still like bass solos and they can be done well.
We should've had two bassists each with their own solo. Davie504 should be their with Adam and they should have crazy solos and then one together.
Xirnscoder Vargormaks let's not get crazy, man, we alll want our sempais to meet, but that is very unlikely
Flic Cilf I'm full of crazy ideas. Like what if Adam and Davie played on the 24 string at the same time
I love everyone but Stevie T is simply my favorite! Never fails to spread laughter, that guy! Thanks everyone! Love from India.
Yeah stevie is the best
Stevie is a favorite for me too.
I love how everybody has a serious metal face and stevie is there like I AM THE MOST FABULOUS METALHEAD OF THEM ALL!
just a clown His faces always get me lmao
Jared and stevie are my favorite
Stevie T’s Solo was sooooo dope
Love how the bass player has to wear a tshirt just to remind him what instrument he plays
BASS
That shirt is pretty cool tho
It wasn’t for him. He made sure he wasn’t going unnoticed like always
Long live Adam Neely!
Who came here after watching Steve's video
don't do this.
I did
Aye.
Me
EVERYONE
Am I the only one who thinks bass‘ volume should have been louder?
I've got the same feel so I've fixed that ^^ If you go to my channel there's and alternative mix of this track made by me for OIART Mix Contest of that song.
Hey I like it, I just think in 3:41 (on your video) it needs more volume but excepting that it’s great :)
SeBass_Covers That's really nice to hear! I'm glad that you enjoyed listening to my mix and I gonna keep in my mind your advice for future projects (when I'll have simillar situation I'm gonna focus on levels more carefully) Thanks mate!
AND JUSTICE FOR ALL
It's probably just right. I mean it's Adam Neely. He knows his stuff, bass is just in the rhythm section it's something you feel but don't always realize it's there.
Plus they have three guitarists, if he tried to compensate the sound would've been way off so it's probably just right.
I just wanna hear more Adam and Sarah honestly. Their parts were the highlights for sure.
"Bass solos suck"-Adam Neely
I wouldn’t even want a bass solo necessarily, I just thing Adam and Sarah had the only interesting parts of the song.
I was referring to cknow comment
now we need something with Rob Scallon, Davie504, 331ERock, 66Samus, Lilith Ghost, and Leo Moracchioli.
Yoda Man all of the ogs
Would pay to watch xD
Agree
Yoda Man and shady cicada. Hes a very good guitarrist as well
Ron S. hadnt heard of him till just now.
This is kinda like when the Avengers came together that first time..
Peter true
Peter It's awesome to see some Marvel fans
That.
This is one of the most incredible videos i have ever seen! You all put so much hard work into the song and I appreciate and love your content :). Keep up the great work!
Sarah and Adam are my favorite part of this - I get chills from that solo!
Also awesome vocals from Trey!
This project still kicks half of metal scene right in the ass, sick 🤘
Well considering half of the metal scene is a swamp of unoriginal bullshit, I don't blame him
Stevie T is the Party Cannon of this band
I was hoping so much for a bass solo
Enderstalker72 me too
Enderstalker72 Green Day has plenty of those.
Fred Pilon I think he meant a good one.
Adam doesn't really like bass solos.
Why are you guys singing about a Bread Machine?...
Flamin' hot track!
No Kmac, no life.
Zen Aku i agree tbh.
Love the way you see Jared mouthing "OH SH*T" at 4:02 xD you rock man! All of them do!
it looked like he said "oh right"
Sarah totally stole the show with that solo 👍
A solo where you didn’t sweep pick? Good job Jarred! 😂
Llorrac TN lol I read this as they handed him a guitar
He did actually. The sweep pick along with the taps.
I wanna see Sarah and Adam do a whole record together
Who else came here to see Stevie T?
And sarah
Jared and Stevie were the ones who inspired me to learn guitar at the age of 33 🤣 I have a long way to go but with practice I can do it
glad to see other garo brothers in awe of Stevie T 😏
😂 Hi there!
And Jared
The Big 4 of Guitar RUclips:
Stevie T
Jared Dines
Sarah Longfield
Music is Win
Don't you know to Charlie Parra del Riego? He is the future guitar hero.
@@felixsilva9177 Charlie is an absolute beast but he is now a touring artist with his band, the musicians in this video work pretty much only with RUclips
What about FamilyJules? I mean, he's pretty great..
I'd throw Ola Englund in there somewhere too.
dont forget about thedooo tho
I love the solo Sarah did
Okay holy fuck didnt expect tht many likes
Litty Boi dirty boii
Han Solo no u
No u
Yeah Sarah’s guitar is cool as hell
Her Clean Tapping , love it !!!!
Before jared's solo when the guy holds out the guitar...
Jared: ....... oh shit!
So funny to see Adam here in a metal song, since I've always seen him as sort of a jazz guy. I guess he really is a jack of all trades!
I mean this is essentially Jazz mixed with Metal, mixed with Prog. I heard a time signature change or two. And there was some advanced theory stuff going on in the intro
If you call strumming between two chords for half a minute in 5/8 "advance theory stuff", then sure.
Same with tyler
So not a 4/4 or 6/8 is 'Jazz' now? Haha.
Sarah's little bit was beautiful
Check out Animals as Leaders, Woven Web
They didn't invite Rob cause they all knew he coulda written this all him self
She's great. It was nice to hear her actually playing chords and not just tapping, which is what she does a LOT of! It was cool to see Steve act like a somewhat normal person, and shred. It was very excellent to hear Adam play bass like a rock bass player! All in all I really liked it and thought everybody was awesome. I'm envious.
Her middle part made me tear up. I had to hand over my man card to my bassist.
Dude, the other day this appeared on my spotify when I was playing Gran Turismo. I had no idea it was you guys but I can tell you this
It passed the car test.
I know I'm late to the party, but kudos, awesome.
Where is Rob scallon
Esta con macri buscando inversiones capo
vkyvsyie lguyv probably home jerking off or something
Not here
Seriously, Sarah but no Rob? For shame.
are you stupid he is the drummer
the incredible edible bread machine
Fuck yeah
But what about the Futile Bread Machine?
That earned a literal lol from me. Not that I matter...
**garlic bread machine
Unpalatable beard machine ...
When your drummer hops off drums for a guitar solo
still listening to this. Awesome song
Soundtrack to war robots
Adam Neely Playing Metal :o
That was surprising.
Really? He's said he's a metal fan a lot, big animals as leaders fan
Boy, you guys sure like BIG collabs
Loving these collabs!!!!! :)
Jared "never plays a solo on the right key" Dines, everybody
same with your bass playing. lol
John Daryl Bernido judging from his videos he’s a guitar player pretending to be a bass player. He has about 1 bass video
He's not off key, they changed the chord progression too genius
@@user-xw6uh3yp7g Yeah I've had the username for ages. All of my videos are extremely old so I've improved over time. You can check out my SoundCloud, same username, it has a little more current stuff.
m.soundcloud.com/bassoutcast/metallica-that-was-just-your
3:30 is where the fun begins if you're a big Stevie T fan.
That snare sounds so punchy. Love the sound. Great collab
Coz the guy that tuned has been tuning snares since probly the 70's
@@ZX6R_SQUID Come on, Glenn isn't THAT old
I loved the shredding solos, and then Sarah Longfield steps in like "Lemme show y'all how to actually play guitar"
Zachary Kenny Sarah is really good, I'll giver her that, but in this song, it seemed to me like she's just trying too hard to sound good, and that just ruins her part for me
Because there's only one way to actually play guitar. I forgot.
Smitty Warbenjagermanjensen really? Nah in my opinion they’re all just very different artists and had their own styles. She made it sound great to my ears
+Smitty Warbenjagermanjensen Well she didn't have many parts to show the talent so trying too hard here is relatively excused.
i didn't say there was only one guitar. if that's what you got from that, i apologize, that wasn't the intended meaning. she is a much better guitarist than i am, but i just don't think her skill set was appropriate for this song, it just seemed out of place.
_This is the best Super Group_ !
MIZORAM - Mafaka Hnamte hello from Assam
Of all time
IKR i always come back here everyday
I like it a lot, ....dread machine, more like SHREAD machine.
I had this on my Spotify for months only to find out it was a bunch of RUclipsrs I already followed xD love it love it love it
Steve t's solo was out of the world !!
As usual. He's the best guitarist on youtube if you ask me =)
Excellent composition. I watched the making of as well because I like you all so much, and honestly I was probably most impressed at how well the composition turned out with so many different people involved. Everyone is terrifically talented, and it’s so easy for egos to get involved when that’s the case, but I didn’t see it at all here in the product. Everyone knows what they can bring, and it was all apparent. Even the mega jams that various people put out each year are impressive for the same reason. It makes me hopeful to see that rock / metal is alive and well in the next generation. And also that I’m too old for anyone to want to play with anymore. I played in several bands in the 80’s, a couple of which were very good, but no way could anyone pull off stuff like this back then. The egos were way huge, and it was a feat to pull off keeping a four piece together with set material, forget doing an awesome collab. Well done guys, truly excellent!
I miss Leo Moriacholi and Rob Scallon in this video. But except the missing persons, it is awesome
I think the only weak point of the song was the lyrics themselves. All of the musicians were amazing. Something about the lyrics just didn't do it for me. Amazing jam though. And to be clear, the singing was great, critique is only of the lyrics.
Also, having written songs myself, I am aware that in two days, from zero to this is an incredible achievement.
Agreed, the vocals were great the lyrics just felt a little repetitive. Still, they put together a pretty cool song pretty quickly.
I want to hear what they can do with more time to write together, just based off this song I bet they could make a pretty killer EP together or something.
With a full production schedule, I think it would definitely be something to behold.
Still listening to it, it's truly a great single, probably a song that will stand the test of time
Thanks for the birthday video 😁 lol
This was sick
bappy hirthday
Nafincs Thanks!
4:27 best part easily
ABSOLUTELY true , really , i love that part a whole damn lot !!!!
Ö _
Me too, very "aal" esque
I on't know why i felt it was pretty proggy for some reason ahah
Those cleans gave me chills
Agreed. Sarah is a legend
Is the bass playing a maj7(add#11) chord in the intro? Wow, even in metal, Adam Neely really finds a way to subtly but effectively inject more harmony into a piece. Love this song.
Why is this unlisted? IT'S INSANE?!?
Tom Hobson Maybe they thought it was so epic it would break youtube
VS0097 LOLOL!
Well now you just have to do an even BIGGER one with rob x2, Rabea, kmac and 10 second songs. Did I miss anyone?
Oh yeah, roomie, boyinaband and Andrew Huang, see if you can get dan bull as well. now THAT would break youtube
Doot McGee dont forget leo, austin and maybe joss from andertons
Maybe kmac will skip his part like before.. Lol
And Davie 504 on bass
Well if you want dan bull, there will be nu mental song
This was amazing. The verses have this awesome Shinedown-ish groove to it. Then came the lightning fingers you expect from bands like All that Remains or Killswitch Engage. Followed by the beautiful Plini-esk tapping. I'm gobsmacked. Now all we have to do is wait for Rob Scallon to answer back with the same thing where he plays all parts
Awesome song Jared. Keep it up👏👏👏
Great track and inspiring project! Hope you enjoyed using the console! :)
Audient I’m just a poor music production student please can I have a free 36 track? ❤️
Using ID22 For the mixing contest ;)
Good sound of Ludwig drums. Jared wow really cool idea. Why is this not BAND
This song.. like come on man. Should have waaaay more views.
STEVIE T IS A BEAST!
Watched this over and over again. This needs to be a yearly must. Just like the shred collab
Steve and Sarah had the best solos. Like if you agree
Also , I wish Rob Scallon was here.
And drewsif stalin
Rob wouldn't even need the rest of them, he can play all of these instruments
Luke Webster so can Jared ....
Rob should have been there
@4:50 Tyler was like , "what da ..,,,!!!" :D :D
I know you guys did this years back but still is amazing honestly
Adam Neely plays Adam 'Nolly's bass. Makes sense.
HeHoZy Adam Neely Gotgeed ?
Getgood, yeah
Keep looping Stevie T's and Tyler's solo, both are so good.
Yo I had no idea Trey had such a set of pipes on him. This was awesome.
The Sarah and Adam bits are actual gold.
The song needed more of that! the rest was alright in comparison
Pretty damn good! Wonder if they'll take this further from here, I think you all have the talent to make it big together if you really wanted to.
Stevie T can definitely do it all by his own.
John Ashley Cayetano yea
And make a funny tutorial how-to about it! xD
@@itshazelpan eehhh no. The only guy in there who can play everyones part (except maybe Sarahs) is Jared Dines.
Bzilonga lol he probs could
They all are capable of it!
Glenn Fricker's production is absolutely worth the $. If I were to ever find myself in the position of being able to record professionally again he'd be my guy. The playing was GREAT but the finished product was sonically almost perfection.
So when’s the world tour? 🤔
ayyy, Adam Neely!
Yeah, it's cool seeing him play in this genre. I didn't believe it at first.
Yeah! Not even a single triple poly-chord :P
How to is your name highlighted in black lol
its not?
A Cerulean State on my iPad your name under your comment is highlighted in black
I just listened to Dread Machine for the first thing in a while, and may I just say God Damn. It was like listening to the song for the first time, after the solos where you guys break down the song slower than before, it genuinely gave me chills. A true RUclips gem. RUclipsrs needs more collabs with people like you guys doing stuff like this.
This was awesome good job guys.
Vocals weren't anything I was expecting but everyone else fuckin killed it.
4:40, would love a whole track like this.
Tyler solo is so good.... The vibes are all there in it
Sarah's part was awesome
Is it me or did Jared's solo have a huge Metallica vibe?
Anibal Perez i got a Dave Mustaine feel from it
It sounds Thrashy for me
HUGE SOLOS MAN..but still I'm so intrigued with Sarah style like damn idk it strikes me right in the heart it's so chill and warm
Tyler's and Sarah's solo were mind blowing...even U Jared😋
george Pramod his solo didn't fit with what the others did at all plus it was out of key
george Pramod Lol what about Stevie T's?
NIGEL PEREIRA haha didn't felt God like...but was also gud✌💪💪
Adam Burke thank you for saying It! All of his solos are always somewhat out of key and it's cringey
kyle moore yup ..he just shreds fast...never seen him playing nice moody rock like tyler
One of the best things I've heard in years, totally awesome y'all came together well on this track, thank you
Where is Jon sudano
He's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
I really like this but it desperately needs the bass louder and the drums brought down. There didn't feel like a single moment the bass got to shine. It was just simply there for parts of the song.
Conrad Nickelson I like a good line that can hook the drums in and tie all the music together too. A great example I use is Iron Maiden, listening to their music it never feels like the bass is overpowering anything. Its just there to tie everything together, but you can hear it you can feel it. The bass in Maiden's music shines through when its not the centerpiece of a song its outstanding.
Stephen Wall I agree, I like a bass that you can actually hear and one that plays more than just the basic bass notes. Good examples are Opeth’s album Damnation and if you like “lead bass”, Scale the Summit’s albums V and The Migration. And definitely Iron Maiden
Yes and I’ll tell u why....
He’s the bassist.
need I say more
Y'all need to do more of this.
Collab with TomKarp! He's such an insane guitarist and producer but sadly he's not known
Lander your profile pic 💜👍💀
Lander nice profile pic
Lander what about Rob scallon
