Here in India so many people are still Uneducated and dependent on big cities where they will open small shops. So many beggers. State level Corruption is higher. Only South India is doing well though they also have corruption there. But I don't think Bihar and Jharkhand will ever change. Thanks to Shri Narendra Modi that atleast they did something and earned all that diplomatic power. But no party can be trusted in India for long term. So a decent competition is required between the parties. Right now Congress is a joke. AAP is supremely corrupt. TMC is the epitome of corruption. Only BJP seems like a progressive party.

Even in India, there are safety doors in metro station platforms(platform doors), but not all the cities and all the transits have them. 😢. For example, I live in Kolkata, West Bengal. There are two metro lines(soon there will be more), one is North-South and the other is East-West which has been constructed recently and has modern stations and platform doors, but the North-South line being the oldest metro in India does not have platform doors but it sure does have good train coaches which was introduced maybe 3 or 4 years ago.
Kolkata is the least developed metropolitan city of India. The metro stations looks like a normal railways platform , only 2 lines even though first metro was started in Kolkata( The East -West corridor still looks good). The city is living in mediocrity with no basic necessities . And no connectivity from Airport to main areas ( No metro lines, only certain AC buses running on bypass corridor around ruby). Kolkata is basically Old Delhi 10 years behind.

@@spg601 Metro and subway both are correct. Earlier people tend to use British English while now a days American.
Thus "bathroom" becomes "washroom", "full stop" becomes "period", "Muesli" becomes "Granola", "Torchlight" becomes "Flashlight", "Brinjal" becomes "eggplant", etc.
@@spg601 Okay maybe you know more than me. But I am living in SoHo for last 5 years. And I never met any native here calling "Metro." Only 1 st generation immigrants call it. Even metro stations are named as subway stations, e.g. 191st Street Subway, etc.
