First off, this was filmed in October, 2019... way before the virus stuff. We traveled to the last Blockbuster Video that's located in Bend, Oregon!! The sights, sounds, and smells of their old stomping grounds was like something else. A flash from the past, where you would always go every Friday night to get the newest movie releases, hottest games, or obscure b-movie rentals. Sadly, Blockbuster's 9,000 world-wide locations dwindled down to just one. But, that comes with everything turning digital... or with movies just slapped into the Red Box at your local grocery store. Regardless, the Last Blockbuster in Bend is a tribute to anyone who lived in the 90s, especially with their museum section and classic memorabilia everywhere. Thanks to the owner Sandi for allowing us to film in the store! And, sorry that our audio isn't the best, the store is very active!!

You discuss it and sometimes have to argue your point and sometimes have to put one movie back. Then you stand there a while at the return area in hopes of getting that hot new release. Then you head out and get your eats, whether at your fave restaurant or the store for a munchie/popcorn/candy run. Then an hour or so has passed and you arrive back at home with anticipation running high you pop the movie in and watch a double feature. It was fun. I miss that.

I think there are a lot of people both young and old, who just don't want or know how to hassle with p2p, and aren't inconvenienced by a quick trip to rent a movie and return it. I also can't believe redbox is even viable. But people still are into renting physical media i suppose.
