Hi I am really imperessed by you I really need your help Like hell Help I've contacted you on Insta but you didn't even seen my messages please I need your Help please just once In a life please
Hey Kai. Would appreciate if you can provide just this habit shop template for free. I really liked your video and you got a new subscriber. I really want to implement this to actually ace my exams this time.
i usually brainfart onto a piece of paper when im revising everything i can remember for a topic (or subtopic if it’s big) from memory i map out on a mind map in one colour then i go read the source material and fill in anything i miss with a different colour then i pretend teaching it out loud to a wall (or a person) without having to look too often i found that it really helps with active recall if you’re teaching the topic instead of rereading and revising great to try the teaching out loud part with others if they’re up for a study session with you Do give it a try if you havent already i know everyone has their own learning curves but there’s no wrong way to do this! it can be as organised, detailed or completely structureless as you want :)
try making an excel sheet with the syllabus you needed. and then put in the dates in topics you already studied. so youll get an overview on which topics you have or not have yet covered
Step 1: Gamify the Studying RPG (Reward, Progression, and Grind) Step 2: Reward System Example: 3 hours of study = 1 hour of video games Make sure to follow the system strictly. Step 3: Level Mindset / Growth Mindset Think: Studying is leveling up yourself. Think: Every new topic is an unexplored territory. Think: Difficulty is a challenge. Bonus Tip: Try changing your study method.
3 hours of study = 1 hour of video games its only work well when someone force me , since no one prevent me from playing game In elden ring, you need to beat the boss to progress the game or get an item In real life, you dont need to study in order to play game
@@phongtran-vc7xx Then uninstall your games, silly. If you make the easy thing to do harder, you're less inclined to do it. Remove the games you spend too much time playing entirely until you've learned how to restrain yourself effectively or find some other means to restrain you from wasting time.
Something that has really helped me is to focus not just on memorising but also on understanding. This takes slightly more effort, but will greatly help when revising. This is not one and done, but through the continuous building of a system, you start to understand what you are doing.
Thanks to you kai for making study videos for us. My mid term exams are finished. And right now I'm enjoying a bit, after this, working hard for my studies and fitness goal. And making shedule I will achieve all my goals.😌❤️🍀
kai, you're putting out these videos when i needed them the most, this is why i love you, thanks dude ps: it's like the thing that i think about, kai puts a vid out wow :0
that is totally true. if you can see or envision how actually studying this thing is gonna help you and benefit your life then studying it becomes alot more fun. for example i had fun studying the samsung book4 pro 360, because i could envision it improving my life. same thing with studying speechify. same thing with studying economics, accounting, business, law. etc. i have had most employers cheat heavily on payroll accounting, and so even though it's not my career i enjoying knowing it so i can school employers try to con me. etc.
So the problem that I usually face with the reward system is, if there is something out there that’s like even a little bit distracting ( and my so called reward, don’t even talk abt games) I won’t study LIKE AT ALL, I will just be distracted the entire time, that’s what happens to me at least, if I don’t have a reward I work better that way, then when I have one, but studying is not fun that way and if I have a reward, I WONT STUDY. so at least for me, it’s better to study without fun than to not study at all. I hope u got the point,
I think it's related to Dopamine. A possible solution to your problem can be: "Boring breaks." Yes, when you take a break in between studying, make it boring. Do not scroll on social media, play games or do any activity that releases a lot of dopamine. Just don't do something in the break that is MORE FUN than studying. Stare at a wall instead, or focus on your breathing. What will actually happen is that, when you do something so boring, your brain will realize that this is SO BORING. And your brain thinks it's boring because staring at a wall does not release enough dopamine. Dopamine makes you happy, or enjoy the activity you do. Trust me, you would want to go back to studying. Your brain will tell you TO STUDY. That is because when you study more dopamine is released compared to when you stare at a wall or focus on breath. Imagine going to play a video game or for a reward instead. Once, your brain gets excessive dopamine from the rewarding activity, it will tell you not to study. The brain doesn't want to lose all that dopamine from playing games because during studying it doesn't get the same amount of dopamine. You can research about it. I tried explaining. I'm sorry if I couldn't explain it well. Thank you for reading! ❤
I wish it was this easy, but I feel like this is easy to cheat as you can basically just stay at the same question longer by doing it slower and it counts as studying. I did it based on how many questions I did based on its intensity. So like easy question = 10 coins. medium questions = 20 coins, hard questions = 30 coins.
It would be great to see a video game based on personal goals and achieving rewards. In this brain ort world, it might help in visualizing the bigger picture... I am a developer myself and this seems like something that can be explored
Hey Kai. Would appreciate if you can provide just this habit shop template for free. I really liked your video and you got a new subscriber. I really want to implement this to actually ace my exams this time.
Like I’m obsessed with studying, not because studying is fun but because I have a reason to study. Simple as fuck right. Set goals, do it for someone or just to explore. Embrace simplicity.
studying is not funny for me, since my teacher just gives me material which is imposible to understand within one day. the teacher in my country makes up my future. I hate my life
I never understood the whole gamification theory, all games are gamified yet people subjectively prefer a game or another, for example i can't put myself to play roguelikes which is a well apreciated genre, i think the core principle that makes this stuff work is the organization and tracking it requires

I don’t think my problem is studying, it’s revising. I have to want to check up on what I learn.
Exactly! I am facing the same problem!
You should try making revision timetables it helps alott to not forget things you learnt
i usually brainfart onto a piece of paper when im revising
everything i can remember for a topic (or subtopic if it’s big) from memory i map out on a mind map in one colour
then i go read the source material and fill in anything i miss with a different colour
then i pretend teaching it out loud to a wall (or a person) without having to look too often
i found that it really helps with active recall if you’re teaching the topic instead of rereading and revising
great to try the teaching out loud part with others if they’re up for a study session with you
Do give it a try if you havent already
i know everyone has their own learning curves but there’s no wrong way to do this!
it can be as organised, detailed or completely structureless as you want :)

Bro this is so useful. Liked and subscribed.
As the year goes by study becomes worse and worse gamifying things is better than forcing yourself to do stuff 👍🏼
That's a valid point. Some people get so demotivated and lost from their intentions, so it's better to gamify than rotting in bed.

1-min studying, 1-hour gaming reward system

Wow it's very unusual to upload two vids per week but still happy you posted kiya sorry kung nalate hahahaha nagrereview kasi ako kanina 😅😅😅
Sleep is fun.
Can I please know where you got your mushroom lamp? 😌
it is fun to do
gotta try that
Prblm with me is that if I really concerntated then 3-4 hr in one sit and if I'm not in mood then it may took days to make mood again 😂😅
I can relate 😶🌫️
If you study only based on your mood then either you've weak mindset or you're not on the right path.
@@Jha9124 why do mood not depend on how you are studying??
And if not then how I can do focus 😭😞😭
Habitica is really good for gamifying your life!!

How to use COD to gamify your study?
I need to pay for akiflow 😢
studying can only be compared to elden ring at hardest difficulty (goddam its hard)😂😂
In thumbnail, you put a mindmap, But in entire video there is no mindmap .
No idea why you keep like that
First!?

You need discipline to care about a reward system… 😬
