i usually brainfart onto a piece of paper when im revising
everything i can remember for a topic (or subtopic if it’s big) from memory i map out on a mind map in one colour
then i go read the source material and fill in anything i miss with a different colour
then i pretend teaching it out loud to a wall (or a person) without having to look too often
i found that it really helps with active recall if you’re teaching the topic instead of rereading and revising
great to try the teaching out loud part with others if they’re up for a study session with you
Do give it a try if you havent already
i know everyone has their own learning curves but there’s no wrong way to do this!
it can be as organised, detailed or completely structureless as you want :)

    Step 1: Gamify the Studying
    RPG (Reward, Progression, and Grind)
    Step 2: Reward System
Example: 3 hours of study = 1 hour of video games
Make sure to follow the system strictly.
Step 3: Level Mindset / Growth Mindset
Think: Studying is leveling up yourself.
Think: Every new topic is an unexplored territory.
    Think: Difficulty is a challenge.
Bonus Tip: Try changing your study method.

its only work well when someone force me , since no one prevent me from playing game
In elden ring, you need to beat the boss to progress the game or get an item

Something that has really helped me is to focus not just on memorising but also on understanding. This takes slightly more effort, but will greatly help when revising. This is not one and done, but through the continuous building of a system, you start to understand what you are doing.

that is totally true. if you can see or envision how actually studying this thing is gonna help you and benefit your life then studying it becomes alot more fun. for example i had fun studying the samsung book4 pro 360, because i could envision it improving my life. same thing with studying speechify. same thing with studying economics, accounting, business, law. etc. i have had most employers cheat heavily on payroll accounting, and so even though it's not my career i enjoying knowing it so i can school employers try to con me. etc.

  • @aarin2512

So the problem that I usually face with the reward system is, if there is something out there that’s like even a little bit distracting ( and my so called reward, don’t even talk abt games) I won’t study LIKE AT ALL, I will just be distracted the entire time, that’s what happens to me at least, if I don’t have a reward I work better that way, then when I have one, but studying is not fun that way and if I have a reward, I WONT STUDY. so at least for me, it’s better to study without fun than to not study at all.
I hope u got the point,

    • @ChikuChu-r2h
      @ChikuChu-r2h 15 дней назад +10

I think it's related to Dopamine.
A possible solution to your problem can be: "Boring breaks."
Yes, when you take a break in between studying, make it boring.
Do not scroll on social media, play games or do any activity that releases a lot of dopamine.
Just don't do something in the break that is MORE FUN than studying. Stare at a wall instead, or focus on your breathing.
What will actually happen is that, when you do something so boring, your brain will realize that this is SO BORING. And your brain thinks it's boring because staring at a wall does not release enough dopamine. Dopamine makes you happy, or enjoy the activity you do.
Trust me, you would want to go back to studying. Your brain will tell you TO STUDY. That is because when you study more dopamine is released compared to when you stare at a wall or focus on breath.
Imagine going to play a video game or for a reward instead. Once, your brain gets excessive dopamine from the rewarding activity, it will tell you not to study. The brain doesn't want to lose all that dopamine from playing games because during studying it doesn't get the same amount of dopamine.
You can research about it. I tried explaining. I'm sorry if I couldn't explain it well.
      Thank you for reading! ❤

I wish it was this easy, but I feel like this is easy to cheat as you can basically just stay at the same question longer by doing it slower and it counts as studying.
I did it based on how many questions I did based on its intensity. So like easy question = 10 coins. medium questions = 20 coins, hard questions = 30 coins.
