Hi I just wanted to ask a question about the prediction that you had about possibly openai open sourcing 3.0 GPT and 3.5 GPT I think this is a very important question is this the original code before before it was publicly available for use or is this a model that has already been out in the world so far that has been getting back and forth input through actual real life training if that's what has been happening since its original release apologies if my question doesn't seem to make so much sense❤

"mission" - is a filler word, we all use filler words.

@@timelyseeker Let me clarify, My use of "intuition" was more about reading between the lines of his response rather than making a definitive assertion of dishonesty. I was referring to the impression I got from Sam's response to some questions. It wasn't so much about knowing for sure, but rather about picking up on subtle cues and mannerisms . Not as a straight up lie. It seemes to me that Sam is down playing matters that the internet community have been speculating about not so much to dissprove further speculation but because some of those speculations might be true. 3:45 whats the saying, the mouse never asks why the cheese is free. Freeconomics is the standard platform building playbook and it's pure capitalism. You need a product two steps above the competition so that you can give step 1 away and get all the users, then sell them the next tier. People do not hate him. People fear the changes. You can look at a current tech jobs crisis and potential outcome of clearing all of the white-collar jobs in the next years. This is extremely scary as many people invested years in their skills-set. The prospect of being disposable is scary. I for example can relate to that. From years fighting auto-immune disease. At 40 - transitioning to any manual labour from programming would be devastating for me. I know that we can experience completely different outcomes than the feared ones, but still - those are very difficult things to cope with now for many people.

And we have to move to a post-capitalist society because it's not just white collar jobs being threatened. Just like GPT5 is coming, Figure 2 or 3 is going to be so advanced that manual labor is going to disappear. An electrician told me there is no way a robot could replace him. But AI combined with AR certainly can! One electrician from a remote location could easily show multiple workers how to do jobs they aren't even trained on! So we all are going to have to put on our thinking caps and stop with the old answers. I for one believe that the opportunity is greater than the risk.

"Society will always find a way to reward..." I think many, many people's minds live in some sort of utopia. Look around - we live in the world of "dog eats dog", "the survival of the fittest" from generations. I know that there are some CEO's living in SV, surrounded by rainbow people talking about peace and love, but reality of most people in the world is dark and gloom.
He sells utopia. I love the concept of AI helping us - as a programmer, interested in this topic for years. Still - there is no proper solution to protect any jobs - either any white-collar jobs, or artistic ones. Talking things like "don't fear AI", while most AI tools and models tend to replace tech jobs and creatives in near future isn't encouraging. Adding "Society will always find a way to reward.." is some commie bullshit utopia. It's like XIX century Paris - it was indeed rewarding artists. But that "reward" was basically the fact that most of those artists were able to find food and shelter not by their art but basically by becoming prostitutes... Please tell me what are the signs which signal that we are heading toward utopia. All I can see is that we are heading toward distopian future.

If you insist on selling your art for money then yes, you are screwed. But who says art should even be sold? I could just as easily say that the prostitutes are the people selling their art. Is that true? No, not to me, but I can make a good argument for that case. And there are people who do think that way. No one deserves a living as an artist. It was an incredible fluke of history that so many people were artists making money in the 20th century. And now the crash is coming.

chatgpt has gotten worse as time goes forward. i remember when chatgpt would practically do anything you asked of it now its just the opposite and it use to have a personality now its just dead inside I don't know what they did besides killing it with rules and policy on what not to do but gemini is far better now. back when Bard came out it was a laughing stock and then everyone got scared then chatgpt ruined itself by not having the ability to go to the internet all while Bard was learneverything on the internet . unfortunately OpenAi is no longer in first place that has to go to google and geminii think the next crossroads for someone to take over first place will be when LLM's are integrated into physical robots or if people get scared again which is so stupid how can people be scared of something they don't even understand at the basic levelsand then trying to dictate its rules that's like a first grader making the rules for a F1 racer its just rediculous.

Henry Ford said he doesn't need to know everything, he hires people to know things haha. You are a hater! Sam is a genius, and I bet if he wanted to be a programmer he'd be a 10x programmer. But he is smart enough not to waste time doing that when he can hire people to do it for him. Archimedes said give me a long enough lever and I can move the Universe. Apparently you think it is smarter to try and do it by hand.
