Owned a pair of the OG 97 ones. I was the only kid in school with them, def. a lot of looks and h8ers because of that. Worked my janitor job for almost a week to earn enough to cash to buy them. Then I started wearing them to bball games, and still got looks. To make a long story longer, they gave me the confidence to play my best bball. Even got the 2011 drop, but they felt different. I skipped the 2017 drop because the 2011 drop was such a disappointment. But def. going to try to get a pair of these, hope I can score a pair.
