      Hey my friend actually sold that car and got him a BMW but are you referring to the AC compressor cuz I can probably show you one on another car like that..

    My Jaguar is a 2011 XF 3.0 Base model. Is it the same as this car ? Do I need to remove the engine mounts ?

    I'm thinking about doing it myself so is there a way to remove the alternator without removing the motor mounts and lifting the engine?

      I believe you can do it and I'm pretty sure there is another way but it may even be harder all you have to do is get a jack stand and put under the engine with the wood block and jack it up slightly and then remove the engine mount..

      @@roadstoriches5611 Hey thanks for the info I was able to remove it at the top by removing the radiator hoses. Once putting everything back down to the battery I realized Wow the negative post would not tighten this had to be the problem all along still no crank no start and shims will not fit. Can you think of anything?
