Curious what a load out of those pine logs pays? We don really have much in the way of nice pines here in N Indiana. Mostly White oak and other assorted hardwoods.
Pine doesn't bring much here in the U.S. most of it is used to make paper products while the wood timber comes out of Canada. Around where we live, no one will do tree thinning on planted properties any more due to the cost vs reward. That hurts the overall tree crop because it increases the struggle for water and nutrients the trees use to grow.
