I remember knowing about sex and knowing about pregnancy but i never really related them to each other so when our teacher told us, i went up to my best friend who was a grade below me and i was just like "DUDE you HAVE to have sex i order to get pregnant" and she was like "NO I'M NEVER DOING THAT EW WHY CAN'T YOU JUST GET BABIES ANOTHER WAY" and i swear we were devestated about it for like 3 weeks omg

Okay.... Here's the story. A long time ago, people thought it was too awkward to tell their kids about sexual reproduction between humans, so they told them how plants reproduce. The process is simple. The birds and the bees land on male flowers and gather pollen, and then they carry it over to female flowers and it drops to it's ovaries.

I found out when I was 9.
I was reading fan fiction and it took a turn I didn't expect
I learned about sex and periods when I was in 4th grade. I'll never forget it. My mom never had the conversation with me. She just gave me a book when I was like 12 or 13 all about girl stuff like periods, puberty, emotions, relationships and I read it on my own time. I basically gave myself the talk.

You know who was my birds and bees teacher? RUclips. My parents still have never had that talk, I just got WAY too curious with my searches.
I remember when I was like 6 or something my bff told me that she asked her mom about it and she said that you have to drink dad's pee and so you get pregnant lol
My parents tried to give me the talk over a like month period, but every time they would try to tell me I would run away and so one day they waited till I was alone in my room then they locked me in there. So then I tried to run away but they locked the door so I fell and got a huggggggeeeeee scrape on my back so I started crying and I was crying the whole time they were explaining so they thought I hated them the whole thing was a very traumatic experience. Sorry if that made no sense I was just trying to tell my tale😂
I remember that when I was about 8-9, I already knew about the birds and the bees. One day in school, my friend told me about how she already has 2 siblings with another one on the way and wondering how are her parents going to be able to support all of them. So I asked her, "So... why did your parents want to have another baby then?" And she looked at me incredulously and said, "God gave the baby to them, okay?!"
the birds and the bees conversation was soooo awkard and i guess my parents (especially my dad) really wanted me to know how ...well you know and he would talk about it sooo much! (when i was around 3) it sucked!

I never found out.. I just knew from my classmates in gr.1... I think that is not normal..
My mom told me when I was 7, like literally just explained it all no baby talk.. sex is a natural thing. I don't think its a big deal to know at a young age, although it did confuse me obviously but as you get older you hear about it at school.

for me, i sorta had to find out on my own. like i alway thought god just gives a wife a baby when she deserves it... or well thats what my mom said and then like in gr5 my teacher taught sex ed and i thought it was for fun and i was grossed out and then i asked my sister cuz i knew my mom would freak out if i knew what sex was.. so yeah, i had to talk from my older sister.
