I'm the guy in red glasses that got cooked. I have a laundry list of excuses at the ready: 1) I'm twice their age 2) I literally just ran 20 miles as I'm training for my first marathon 3) was not warmed up (actually semi-hobbled from the running) 4) Lack of sleep as I was on EST 5) I'm just above mediocre on a good day, even without my excuses. Still, when opportunity knocks...it was my chance. I'm typically money from 3 and Iverson was kind enough to give me an open look, but it went off the front of the rim due to having no legs. I had a blast and the announcer was too funny. Venice Beach was great and Veniceball/Hoopbus are amazing organizations that do so much for the basketball community! If anyone ever has the chance to spend a few hours at the Venice courts I highly recommend it. DC Heat and Whit3 Iverson are legit and it was a pleasure meeting them. ✌
