Craig Armstrong | Nocturne 1 (Official Video)

This is the first piece I wrote for the album. The two pianos are both playing a series of arpeggios, which blur and phase together making a whole more abstract sound. There are no particular points of musical reference to pick out, only the overall effect. I used this in several other Nocturnes and it’s achievable because of the combination of the two pianos.
