The scenery is part of what keeps me going back. I love it over there. The fish is just a major bonus. 😆 The fishing is a hidden secret that needed to be shared

Nice destination. I can’t believe the size of those rainbows!

it is an awesome destination. The size of the trout come from two major factors, genetics - Lohanton cutthroat/Kamloops Rainbows, and year around growing season. They have near perfect conditions for year around growth there. The one pond we fished was full of tadpoles and dragonflies, both big baits. They aren't surviving on size 20 midges.

Thanks, Shawn, for sharing ur Africa trip. I enjoyed it. I'm looking 4wrd to seeing the rest of ur trip. I didn't know that there was trout in South Africa. Nice sized fish as well. How about tying up a water bug. That would b an interesting video to watch. God Bless n Fish on!

Thanks, glad you liked it. You will enjoy the other videos too because they will feature other fishing styles, fish and locations. That's what's so cool about Africa, drive an hour in a different direction and you are in a different kind of habitat. I never know there were so many fishing options till I got there.

Thanks Frank. Feel free to live vicariously through me 😆 because if the Lord wills that will not be my last trip. I fell in love with the Eastern Cape.
