Like you said, the Armaf CDNIM already smells extremely similar to Aventus, but it is missing that pineapple note. After watching your video I figured I'd give it a try so I bought both the CDNIM and the Pineapple by Demeter (which blows my mind at how much it really smells exactly like real pineapple) and tried your mix ratio. I found that with the 60/40 ratio, the pineapple overpowers the "Aventus" smell in Armaf, and actually isn't as pleasing. I'd say 80/20 has my mix smelling indistinguishable from real Creed Aventus, which i'm very familiar with. Thanks a million for this video. I wore the 60/40 mix and I asked my girl how it smelled and she thought it smelled "pretty good", I could tell she didn't like it all that much. The following day when I changed the ratio to 80% Armaf and 20% Demeter, I didn't even mention anything to her and she came up to me and asked, "what cologne are you wearing today? It smells sooo good". So apparently to her, she thought they were completely different. I liked it so much I made a 2oz mix of this. Thanks again!
pretty great advice, however i would also add a bit of ambergris tincture 1-2% play around with it.. if you can't get the ambergris get ambroxan powder & add it to some perfumers alcohol & use that.. additionally if you don't want to make your own ambroxan concentrate, pick up a bottle of molecule no.2 by escentric molecule make sure its molecule no2 & not escentric no2 (its basically ambroxan & alcohol) it will add some of that magic to it to make it more like a creed, you could just layer it ontop of this, its good to have anyway because layered on any fragrance it will increase performance & projection. im telling you along with the pineapple ambergris is the other thing its missing.
After blending give one good shake and seal it - place it in a sealed container I the fridge for a month. This will allow the two ingredients to macerate and you will get a cheap Aventus like scent.
So I got it today and mixed 10 parts CDNIM and 1 part pineapple. So far it's exactly what it needed. Just not sure if I should add more pineapple. It's pretty good with this mix.
I tried this initially at 75/25 which nicely covered the awful CDNIM lemon opening, but overall made the drydown too pineapple heavy. So I tried it at 80/20 which was ok, but then the lemon opening started resurfacing. The final perfect mix for me was 22% Demeter. Just enough pineapple to cover the floor cleaner introduction and also allow all the lovely CDNIM drydown notes to shine. It really did seem like only a very fine balance between the two works. I suppose this could vary from batch to batch, so further experimentation will be necessary. Details as they happen.
After some experiments, this is god aventus creed that I have made. Here you should try this 20 ML Decant Bottle (Balanced) - 3ml Demeter Pineapple - Juniper Berry Oil (1 drop) - Birch Tar Oil (1 drop of needle syringe) - 3ml Iso E Super (Diluted 10%) - 2ml Ambroxan (Diluted 10%) - 12ml CDNIM (Pure Parfum) For Birch Tar oil, be careful when adding it because once you add too much, it will not ruin the scent but will overpowered because it is very potent. We just want the smokiness stay behind the civilization. You will likely noticed the smokiness a little bit after the fruity slowly fade and smokiness plus fruity will be balanced. Try and thanks me later.
@@MrSonnyjack personally if you dont want much hassle, I recommend buying LE version. Pure Parfum and LE has same opening but different dry down. LE version is very smooth and mass compliments. LE version no need to tweak. just use right away or spray 2 3 times and let it rest for 1 month

And if you want a BEAUTIFUL BEAST of Creed Aventus try Afnan Not Only Intense with either Rave Now Black or Qaed Al Fursan. The women will follow you around. I've been asked so many times about what I am wearing that it's beyond CRAZY. So yes try layering. It ABSOLUTELY works and at a fraction of the cost of Aventus. I mix 60% Club nuit 30% L’Aventure 10% Demeter pineapple Perfect ! Do not put more than 10%-15% Demeter pineapple because it is so strong and will completely overpower the fragrance.
I have Creed Aventus as well, along with Insurrection Pure II, and Lomani Silver and in a blind rest I had several people choose IPII as the best smelling of the three. Thanks for highlighting the Demeter brand, I'll definitely be checking for them.

Why is everyone so obsessed with the pineapple in aventus?!! loll!! What makes aventus so unique and irresistible is the mossy-musky-ambergris drydown! There is no MAN who would love to smell like he poured himself some pineapple juice haha! However, a manly birchy patchouli musky smell is what makes it good!! :)
while I agree with you that the smoky musky smell is what cause women to turn their heads. its also the sweet fruity pineapple smell that soften and pulls people in. I love pineapple personally and think without the pineapple smell aventus is not aventus. Some clond aparently only have a lemon pledge smell tho its weird..

My SOTD is Insurrection Pure 2 blended with Demeter Pineapple. I also use it with CDNI. Used up my Aventus bottle this month and don't think i'll be buying another bottle. Its great stuff but Aventus clones work just as well. Only creed that I will keep buying is GIT.
I have tried this CDNI + Demeter Pineapple blend (80/20) and dissapointed with the result. That's a pity, сause I was very enthusiastic on the idea that my CDNI (which I adore) can sound better. Unfortunately, Demeter has harshly suppressed "aventuish" vibe and smokiness of CDNI. So I myself would prefer using CDNI as itself than the mix with Demeter Pineapple.
RGV Scents I have a 2.5ml decant that play around mixing the two. it would last a week. then i mix again and adjust the ratio of demeter and cdnim until I got the pineapple sweetness I like. its fun.

Did this bozo type to make it seem more like he don't understand high school chemistry. Wait Special Ed is one class while the smart ones take chemistry. If something mixes it mixes on the spot or it don't. It's not like puttimg something in the fridge for a month is gonna make the non mixing molecules mad and out of frustration, they will mix. Please just get the damn Club De Nuit. It's straight up identical for the beautiful smoky drydown, why as one gentleman put it, correctly, people get Adventus. Me I can't get past the harsh opening and after Creed copied Mont Blanc Individual with their Original Santal, Mont Blanc Explorer was born with them having the last laugh as Explorer is beyond more elegant and rich and classy than Adventus. At $75 a bottle. Take it from only one flopping truth out, Club De Niut to be idential twin, just see it as waiting for the clieaning of the afterbirth and so spray, wait 40.....go, and stick to the story and Creed employees and sales reps, 100% will have no clue to figure the difference. Usually they look in your eyes, if you have that lazy eye, or that down syndrome droop face, they know you are dumb euff to buy $400 bottle of just simply straight up price gauging. Your welcome.

Yes it might smell the same, BUT, there can still be a enormous difference in longevity and projection. On that note, how does it compare to the real deal?
RGV Scents Btw, I just received my 4oz bottle of Creed from FragranceNet and everything checks out to be real on it except for the sprayer head, it doesn't have "Creed" etched in. Could this be a fake? Batch 16H11
@Paul L, New ones don't say Creed on the sprayer. If you got it from FragranceNet, you're good. Creed stopped using atomizers with the Creed logo stamped on the sprayer around 2012 or 2013.
is Demeter Pineapple a good stand alone fragrance?? I have Armaf CdNi and just finished a 2012 bottle of Aventus. Armaf lacks the pineapple and I love the smell of pineapple.
+Joe Luke if you just want that pinapple scent then go with demeter which lasts about a good 4-5 hrs on my skin but a more complex fragrance then I would go with another choice

Just an update. I wear this mix pretty frequently and I'm telling you, this is an absolute complement getter. I have so many different scents and this one takes the cake. I mean pretty much every time I wear it, I get complements. Don't listen to the naysayers that have never tried this. The more I've smelled this compared to Aventus, I'll say they are extremely similar, like 95%, but unless side by side, you will not be able to tell the difference. It lasts long and projects very good just like Aventus. I've had women approach me and start conversations just because they smelled this on me. "OMG, you smell delicious!" I'm not even lying, a random girl came up to me and said those exact words. "I was wondering who smelled so good". Don't take my word for it.
Do you get the Aventus woody cedar note clearly? I have not tried either frag, only Aventus. My favorite part is actually the dry-down cedar-type note. I sometimes describe it as "soggy cardboard." ;)
I would have to say yes. The only noticeable note that the Armaf was missing was the pineapple. The woody cedar note at dry down, and the citrus opening are already pretty well pronounced in this.
do you get a musty smell towards the end of its life? the dry down after an hour or so is pretty "cheap/body odor" smelling....are you experiencing this? it smells like this on my skin, clothes and even paper. maybe it's just what pineapple naturally smells like when it's dried? haha odd though

That pineapple scent is really strong I would mix 90% Armaf and 10% pineapple. The opening smells like mostly pineapple then dries down niceley. Smells nice but definitely not Aventus.

Afnan Supremacy Silver with Demeter Pineapple is better in my opinion. Afnan Supremacy Silver has the same exact not breakdown as Creed Aventus.

almaty santekhnik : use 10% pineapple. The resulting mix smells more pleasant than the real Creed Aventus. 20% is too much pineapple.

Did this bozo type to make it seem more like he don't understand high school chemistry. Wait Special Ed is one class while the smart ones take chemistry. If something mixes it mixes on the spot or it don't. It's not like puttimg something in the fridge for a month is gonna make the non mixing molecules mad and out of frustration, they will mix.
Please just get the damn Club De Nuit. It's straight up identical for the beautiful smoky drydown, why as one gentleman put it, correctly, people get Adventus. Me I can't get past the harsh opening and after Creed copied Mont Blanc Individual with their Original Santal, Mont Blanc Explorer was born with them having the last laugh as Explorer is beyond more elegant and rich and classy than Adventus. At $75 a bottle. Take it from only one flopping truth out, Club De Niut to be idential twin, just see it as waiting for the clieaning of the afterbirth and so spray, wait 40.....go, and stick to the story and Creed employees and sales reps, 100% will have no clue to figure the difference. Usually they look in your eyes, if you have that lazy eye, or that down syndrome droop face, they know you are dumb euff to buy $400 bottle of just simply straight up price gauging. Your welcome.
Yo RGV, The only demeter pineapple I can find on ebay and amazon is "Demeter Home" atmosphere deffuser oil. Is that the same thing?

Yes it might smell the same, BUT, there can still be a enormous difference in longevity and projection. On that note, how does it compare to the real deal?

RGV Scents Btw, I just received my 4oz bottle of Creed from FragranceNet and everything checks out to be real on it except for the sprayer head, it doesn't have "Creed" etched in. Could this be a fake? Batch 16H11

New ones don't say Creed on the sprayer. If you got it from FragranceNet, you're good. Creed stopped using atomizers with the Creed logo stamped on the sprayer around 2012 or 2013.

is Demeter Pineapple a good stand alone fragrance?? I have Armaf CdNi and just finished a 2012 bottle of Aventus. Armaf lacks the pineapple and I love the smell of pineapple.

+Joe Luke if you just want that pinapple scent then go with demeter which lasts about a good 4-5 hrs on my skin but a more complex fragrance then I would go with another choice

Just an update. I wear this mix pretty frequently and I'm telling you, this is an absolute complement getter. I have so many different scents and this one takes the cake. I mean pretty much every time I wear it, I get complements. Don't listen to the naysayers that have never tried this. The more I've smelled this compared to Aventus, I'll say they are extremely similar, like 95%, but unless side by side, you will not be able to tell the difference. It lasts long and projects very good just like Aventus. I've had women approach me and start conversations just because they smelled this on me. "OMG, you smell delicious!" I'm not even lying, a random girl came up to me and said those exact words. "I was wondering who smelled so good". Don't take my word for it.
Do you get the Aventus woody cedar note clearly? I have not tried either frag, only Aventus. My favorite part is actually the dry-down cedar-type note. I sometimes describe it as "soggy cardboard." ;)
I would have to say yes. The only noticeable note that the Armaf was missing was the pineapple. The woody cedar note at dry down, and the citrus opening are already pretty well pronounced in this.

do you get a musty smell towards the end of its life? the dry down after an hour or so is pretty "cheap/body odor" smelling....are you experiencing this? it smells like this on my skin, clothes and even paper. maybe it's just what pineapple naturally smells like when it's dried? haha odd though

That pineapple scent is really strong I would mix 90% Armaf and 10% pineapple. The opening smells like mostly pineapple then dries down niceley. Smells nice but definitely not Aventus.
