Wow.. Usually When I see a video where the thumbnail shows a line of Sousaphones and the title has a vague word like "explosion", I expect sloppy crap containing nothing more than eighth notes.. This was actually really cool. The chords sound awesome, dynamics went everywhere from ppp to RFL, and the technical parts were actually pretty clean and together. Dayum. Consider this blast-band sceptic proven wrong.
Love this! Wouldn't it be crazy if we had like an Allstar Tuba Battle? Each section can have their best 30 players who marched anywhere from 2000-2020. Everyone gets 4 Fanfares. At the end of the battle one big mass performance of the fanfares most schools have played. It would sound like the ground is moving having so many great players and chords so thick. Hey anything could happen. What yall think?

Instruments are limited. If you usually take your instrument home to practice, I would suggest just taking it home that Friday before so you will have it for the weekend. Other wise, it is first come first served. Other option is to see if your band director will bring a bus of students to the event.
