hey variez, i am into weirdcore and dreamcore and i know some of the origins where it comes from.
not only it comes from the website, but it comes from liminal spaces. liminal spaces are empty places with a nostalgic and unnerving feeling such as funrooms, office, etc.
liminal spaces are also known as familiar places, because we think about them in our own minds.
it gives us a feeling weather we've been there or its either a place that is made up by you but probably exists.
along with that there is a phobia called kenophobia, fear of empty spaces.
edit - keep in mind that "dream" is not real obviously, its a made up thing for weirdcore/dreamcore.
