It's a bonus (lol...) ♪ ====================================== Though I can not be more honest than to confess that at the beginning of my quest on September 19th, 2019 with *Glamour Profession*, It was like throwing a message in a bottle within this vast sea of RUclips educative guitar content creators (there are so MANY). ♪ I had no idea where it would lead me, and was doing this (i still do) unconditionally, and I said; *heck, who cares, at least in the end, I'll have my animate music sheet for my personal use*.♪ Also, it was a good inspirational medium for me to pursue diving deeper, and getting better with this complex editing software, namely *After Effects* (amazing and infinite, love it).♪ ============================ When we started interacting in the comment section of *Hey Nineteen*, during the early alienating Covid era on May 5th, 2020, I barely just reached the 100 SEBscribers milestone after my fifth tutorial. ♪ I couldn't monetize and had a few hundred hours of viewership (needed 4000 hours + 1000 SEBscribers to unlock RUclips's many useful features/to be considered and allowed in the select group of the 1000 SEBscriber category). ♪ I obtained my 1000th SEBscriber on new years day of 2022, and my 4000th hour of viewership last June of 2022, and now with *44 Steely Dan + Galveston + Jingle Bell Rock + No Reply + Scatterbrain* tutorials in the channel, I'm now in late January 2023, I'm at 2300 SEBscribers, and everything statistically is moving up considerably. (even a few dollars, too (lol..)). ♪ ========================== As I honestly said/stated, within itself my ideology/philosophy and purpose remain totally unconditional. The numerous comments and interactions have a tremendous value impact and inspire me to add so much more *better content to come* (lol..).♪ But now three years later (though the channel is still in its infancy) with at least more than 2000 hours (most probably way more?) of my life invested/dedicated to bringing these lessons to life, if I earned including the new RUclips revenue since June of 2023, 2 years of Patreon, and your personal, yet the most generous contributor of them all, I haven't even earned 1000$ CDN. in total, guaranteed. ♪ Putting this in subjective perspective, 0.50 cents per hour (lol..), it's like the equivalent of the minimum wage of the early 1940s, when you were not yet breathing on this blue dot of ours, ♪ =============================== Taking me as an example, I can only understand that many folks do not have sufficient revenues to support creators left and right. As well, the array of choices someone can encounter every week for contributive support can truly be overwhelming. ♪ But honestly three years (and a half soon) later, I was hoping for more contribution knowing how much my lessons can swiftly and effectively save fellows many hours of research, and add them for more leisure time, and family time, all while improving their skills and musical knowledge at the same time. ♪ No need to register and commit at a music school (if they can teach you some Steely Dan ?), it's available 24/7 for the rest of their life experience (as long as the internet still runs (lol..)). ♪ A music/guitar teacher at a musical school, makes more earnings teaching ONE neophyte, one hour a week, for one year (at a slow pace) a three-chord song, than I did produce close to fifty super-advanced guitar lessons which now combine to 185 000 views for 2300 SEBsriptions. ♪ I'm kind of surprised some don't realize these subtleties, and (IMO) how lucky they are to have access to those amazing (and animated) musical pieces of information. And no I don't want to throw/play the guilt card to the followers. I wish they just understood by themselves how much of a commitment it is. (some more, some less, *Scatterbrain* I think I practiced it more than 80 times for sure (tricky and speedy, though learning it by heart was quite easy). ♪ So yes I subjectively made technically 0.50 cents an hour after investing more than 2000 hours of my time since the birth of my channel/ *Glamour Profession's* lesson, but I gained 2300 new friends like you, Bruce Siegel, Humble Roots, and Dan Hines (and many more fine and kind SEBscribers). I have improved so much my skills with *After Effects*, and so much more organized, and the ideas flourish tutorial after tutorial.♪ But above all, it's my guitar skills, improvisational aptitudes, and preciseness in playing, learned so many new chords and voicings, that by a disciplinary action/effort I've taken to provide you all with an accurate playing of their tricky and complex songs (over and over/50 tutorials x 6 hours each = 300 hours of guitar practicing (only their songs)). ♪ I knew I was going to learn a lot of new stuff, but never thought/expected I could skyrocket my already pretty decent guitar skills to another level. I think if I continue non-stop, I could eventually be a hireable high-lifter kind of session player. (not there yet, but....).♪ So in the end, I can only conclude that those were well invested 2000 hours, and not worrying too much about how much cash revenue they have provided me so far. (so groovy and tasteful). ♪ Yes, I had previously explored *Babylon Sisters* (imagine didn't know it was from *Gaucho*, too), and Deacon Blues before, but still it was so complex I couldn't figure out half of what was being played (And you heard me and I proved to you with *Solsberry Hill*, that I have that competency to learn songs very fast by ear.). ♪ So slowly but surely while after starting *Glamour Profession*, I've gone down the rabbit hole of learning more in-depth, about all their albums, and was flabbergasted by how many songs I enjoyed one after the other (more than The Beatles, for sure). And flabbergasted by their array of musical genres and styles, too. Not forgetting to mention their high high-quality recordings, so pleasing to listen to.♪ So I said hold on, I'm into something good here, there's a treasure load of songs that haven't been produced in a tutorial format (yet). If I had problems and headaches figuring out their songs (even with some music sheet and/or tablatures), well there's a full load of folks/guitarists of all levels of skills, that will look for the same musical information as I do, for sure.♪ Only to realize that there's a massive and mature Steely Dan cult following behind them (obviously I'm now one of their disciples, too (lol..)), that does enjoy their whole nine albums as much as I do (still debatable (lol..)), So it was a no-brainer that eventually I'll gain some following too. I knew that playing over their original tracks would penalize some monetization and copyright claims, but it was (IMO) the fastest and cleverest way for me to get recognized as swiftly as possible, in that clogged world of guitar educators on the web. ♪ (to be continued reply #3)

And like a video game, trying to overcome the songs with the highest degrees of difficulties, and who cares if it takes months. In the end, the results will be delivered. ♪ Within the philosophy of learning the guitar, especially more advanced guitar chord education with SEB/EDIT format and method, is that as much as I love Steely Dan and personally care about learning all their songs (at least 95%), they're my hostage, my pretext and favorite musical medium I chose, for musicians all around the globe to get better and more knowledgeable. PERIOD. ♪ A win-win situation, learn the best songs ever recorded and get better by default (and most probably get acquired to the fantastic taste of their compositions, whoever can admit they do not really like them) all while having a great time. It will (IMO) make anyone a better musician, Again guaranteed. ♪ Plus RUclips and SEB!EDIT visual content that you can slow down without losing the pitch of the song, is in total symbiosis when it comes time to go in-depth at your own pace. (IMO ) A talking head tutorial won't provide the same dynamism and efficiency. For example, just look at *Scatterbrain* at 75% or 50% of its original speed/tempo, and you'll see each and every one of the colored dots, moving CLEARLY without blur and with no ambiguity of where it is played over the fretboard. ♪ Listening to a talking head tutorial (most of them in English) at a slower pace (though undeniably helpful ) is not as fun, and ain't clearer too (IMO). Some after 25 minutes won't even have the time to cover a song like AJA, which I cover ALL of it within the original length of the song (even the solos and basslines). ♪ ============================== I also will acquire a new super fast and performant laptop this year, and I have many creative ideas (always with guitar education in mind); like my *Guitar Drill Sergeant* funny and educative 1-minute segments (on many musical theory topics).♪ I'd like to do some live RUclips events, and go about more content and infos on the tutorials meaning and who knows practice all together some of the tutorials or maybe some improvisation segments, tips, and tricks too.♪ I'm here and exist to cater to your guitar improvements, I can not animate every song recorded, so (IMO) I wisely chose Steely Dan (till I produce them all). Oh! You betcha Dan ;^) ♪ I especially really like my rhythm guitar part during the first half of Max Middleton's keyboard solo. But in all, so fun to play (and challenging, too) at least 8 hours of guitar practicing = 6 minutes x 10 X 8 hours = at least 80 runs over. Heck! no other better recipe for improvements, than repeating, repeating, and repeating till getting it right. I don't pull off these live performances of mine, just by animating colored dots over a fretboard, (lol...) ♪ Though it helps tremendously to memorize the songs by heart, still playing ALL OF THEM has required a lot of practice for each and every one ♪ ------------------------ In this lesson, every single musician is constantly and technically soloing through the whole song, not to mention a difference of 17 BPM faster from start to end.♪ It's very long animating all these notes, there are thousands of layers and keyframes it's mind-boggling, but heck! the final results are quite satisfactory (IMO) and make it all worth it ♪ And will most probably give it/them a longer shelf life and interest for the future neophytes eager to improve their skills, who will discover the content of my educative guitar channel. ♪ Peace always Dany boy + respect ;^) ♪ .

(et de devenir sans équivoque, LA référence/l'endroit par excellence dans RUclips pour tout ce qui à trait des compositions riches Steely Dan♪ (IMO) leurs *musical masterpieces* sont absolument un *must* et indéniablement utile pour élevé ses aptitudes et devenir un meilleur musicien/improvisateur/compositeur, sans oublier tout le coté riche en théorie et savoir musicale (dans une variété de styles, de tempo et de signatures de temps inusitées) ♪ ============================ De mon expérience, ce qui est le plus long quand vient le temps d'animer mes points de couleurs par-dessus le manche, c'est de faire les solos et/ou tout ce qui ne ce répète pas plus qu'une fois (les furent tout un challenge aussi). C'est presque aussi long et compliqué de déplacer une note, qu'un accord avec quatre note (même avec le barré). ♪ *Scatterbrain*, fut toute une commande (pour mes ambitions), y'a rien de A à Z qui se répètent, le tempo augmente considérablement du début jusqu'à la fin, la basse (tout un challenge pour toi mon ami Joe), le piano, et en plus que tout est instrumentale,♪ Ce fut beaucoup réécoute pour discerner tout ce qui passe (et ce parfois 8 à 12 note par secondes) j'ai du requérir à énormément plus de temps que j'anticipais, mais pour Jeff Beck it's no problémo.♪ Donc je ne suis pas officiellement dans une phase Jeff Beck, mais je t'avoue que je suis tenté. Il fera parti du 10% de contenu surprise que j'intégrerai durant mon ambitieux challenge de produire presque l'entièreté du catalogue musicale de Steely Dan. ♪ ============================= Tu sais Joe, je vais être honnête avec toi, pour moi c'est pas si compliquer que ça de reproduire les lignes de basses. Personnellement je trouve que ça donne plus de valeur et de dynamisme à mes leçons. and I said; *heck, who cares, at least in the end, I'll have my animate music sheet for my personal use*.♪
Also, it was a good inspirational medium for me to pursue diving deeper,
and getting better with this complex editing software, namely *After Effects* (amazing and infinite, love it).♪

When we started interacting in the comment section of *Hey Nineteen*,
during the early alienating Covid era on May 5th, 2020, I barely just reached
the 100 SEBscribers milestone after my fifth tutorial. ♪
I couldn't monetize and had a few hundred hours of viewership (needed 4000 hours + 1000 SEBscribers to unlock
RUclips's many useful features/to be considered and allowed in the select group of the 1000 SEBscriber category). ♪
I obtained my 1000th SEBscriber on new years day of 2022, and my 4000th hour of viewership last June of 2022,
and now with *44 Steely Dan + Galveston + Jingle Bell Rock + No Reply + Scatterbrain* tutorials in the channel,
I'm now in late January 2023, I'm at 2300 SEBscribers, and everything statistically is moving up considerably.
(even a few dollars, too (lol..)). ♪

As I honestly said/stated, within itself my ideology/philosophy and purpose remain totally unconditional.
The numerous comments and interactions have a tremendous value impact and inspire me to add
so much more *better content to come* (lol..).♪
But now three years later (though the channel is still in its infancy) with at least more than 2000 hours
(most probably way more?) of my life invested/dedicated to bringing these lessons to life,
if I earned including the new RUclips revenue since June of 2023, 2 years of Patreon, and your personal,
yet the most generous contributor of them all, I haven't even earned 1000$ CDN. in total, guaranteed. ♪
Putting this in subjective perspective, 0.50 cents per hour (lol..),
it's like the equivalent of the minimum wage of the early 1940s,
when you were not yet breathing on this blue dot of ours, ♪

Taking me as an example,
I can only understand that many folks do not have sufficient revenues to support creators left and right.
As well, the array of choices someone can encounter every week for contributive support can truly be overwhelming. ♪
But honestly three years (and a half soon) later, I was hoping for more contribution knowing how much
my lessons can swiftly and effectively save fellows many hours of research, and add them for more leisure time,
and family time, all while improving their skills and musical knowledge at the same time. ♪
No need to register and commit at a music school (if they can teach you some Steely Dan ?),
it's available 24/7 for the rest of their life experience (as long as the internet still runs (lol..)). ♪
A music/guitar teacher at a musical school, makes more earnings teaching ONE neophyte, one hour a week,
for one year (at a slow pace) a three-chord song, than I did produce close to fifty super-advanced guitar lessons
which now combine to 185 000 views for 2300 SEBsriptions. ♪
I'm kind of surprised some don't realize these subtleties, and (IMO) how lucky they are to have access
to those amazing (and animated) musical pieces of information.
And no I don't want to throw/play the guilt card to the followers. I wish they just understood by themselves
how much of a commitment it is. And I ain't no millionaire, and I survive with barely 25 000$ CDN a year in 2023. ♪

but I work hard to bring you all a product that is (IMO) up a notch with its elaborated
and visually animated musical graphic content. ♪
Not too many RUclips (educative guitar) creators that have combined 40 years of guitar experience
+ 7 years with *After Effects* guaranteed. It's either one or the other (with very few anecdotes like me (IMO). ♪
After close to fifty guitar tutorials so far, before filming and recording my one-take-shot performances,
to show all some non-edited & memorized-by-heart examples of how to perform them with the help of the colored dots,
I've at least practiced every one of them 60 times and/or 6 hours of repetition. (some more, some less, *Scatterbrain*
I think I practiced it more than 80 times for sure (tricky and speedy, though learning it by heart was quite easy). ♪
So yes I subjectively made technically 0.50 cents an hour after investing more than 2000 hours of my time
since the birth of my channel/ *Glamour Profession's* lesson, but I gained 2300 new friends like you,
Bruce Siegel, Humble Roots, and Dan Hines (and many more fine and kind SEBscribers). I have improved
so much my skills with *After Effects*, and so much more organized, and the ideas flourish tutorial after tutorial.♪
But above all, it's my guitar skills, improvisational aptitudes, and preciseness in playing, learned so many new chords and voicings,
that by a disciplinary action/effort I've taken to provide you all with an accurate playing of their tricky and complex songs
(over and over/50 tutorials x 6 hours each = 300 hours of guitar practicing (only their songs)). ♪
I knew I was going to learn a lot of new stuff, but never thought/expected I could skyrocket my already pretty decent
guitar skills to another level. I think if I continue non-stop, I could eventually be a hireable high-lifter kind of session player.
(not there yet, but....).♪
So in the end, I can only conclude that those were well invested 2000 hours,
and not worrying too much about how much cash revenue they have provided me so far.
(Like Thomas Sowell says wisely; you pay people for their competencies and specialized skills) ♪

because of always producing the best that is yet coming (lol..) tutorial after tutorial.

YT fellows like me are (IMO) a fair idea and reasonable fee. Heck, even let's say if 1 to 5% of SEBscribers commit to this,

As you know, too, I'm a late bloomer with Steely Dan, for example, just learned about *The Second Arrangement*
for the first time in October of 2022. Every time I undertake a new tutorial, 80% of the time it's a new learning endeavor.
Three years ago when I started with *Glamour Profession* I didn't even know from which album it was and never heard
of *Gaucho*, I just heard the song and wanted to learn it. (so groovy and tasteful). ♪
Yes, I had previously explored *Babylon Sisters* (imagine didn't know it was from *Gaucho*, too),
and Deacon Blues before, but still it was so complex I couldn't figure out half of what was being played
(And you heard me and I proved to you with *Solsberry Hill*, that I have that competency to learn songs very fast by ear.). ♪
So slowly but surely while after starting *Glamour Profession*,
I've gone down the rabbit hole of learning more in-depth, about all their albums,
and was flabbergasted by how many songs I enjoyed one after the other (more than The Beatles, for sure).
And flabbergasted by their array of musical genres and styles, too. Not forgetting to mention their high
high-quality recordings, so pleasing to listen to.♪
So I said hold on, I'm into something good here, there's a treasure load of songs
that haven't been produced in a tutorial format (yet). If I had problems and headaches figuring out their songs
(even with some music sheet and/or tablatures), well there's a full load of folks/guitarists of all levels of skills,
that will look for the same musical information as I do, for sure.♪
Only to realize that there's a massive and mature Steely Dan cult following behind them
(obviously I'm now one of their disciples, too (lol..)), that does enjoy their whole nine albums as much as I do
(still debatable (lol..)), So it was a no-brainer that eventually I'll gain some following too. I knew that playing over
their original tracks would penalize some monetization and copyright claims, but it was (IMO) the fastest and
cleverest way for me to get recognized as swiftly as possible, in that clogged world of guitar educators on the web. ♪

I repeat I have improved my guitar playing and learned so much in the last three years
because of this musical and creative endeavor, that it's gonna be the same results for others guaranteed
(though, if they practice efficiently (slowing down the playback speed (is a must) with patience and determination). ♪
My philosophy/what I'd truly be delighted if all the viewers and SEBscribers could understand this important thing;
is that EACH and EVERY ONE of my tutorials is a guitar exercise that you should challenge yourself to learn.
And like a video game, trying to overcome the songs with the highest degrees of difficulties,
and who cares if it takes months. In the end, the results will be delivered. ♪
Within the philosophy of learning the guitar, especially more advanced guitar chord education with SEB/EDIT format
and method, is that as much as I love Steely Dan and personally care about learning all their songs (at least 95%),
they're my hostage, my pretext and favorite musical medium I chose, for musicians all around the globe to get better
and more knowledgeable. PERIOD. ♪
A win-win situation, learn the best songs ever recorded and get better by default
(and most probably get acquired to the fantastic taste of their compositions, whoever can admit they do not really like them)
all while having a great time. It will (IMO) make anyone a better musician, Again guaranteed. ♪
Plus RUclips and SEB!EDIT visual content that you can slow down without losing the pitch of the song,
is in total symbiosis when it comes time to go in-depth at your own pace.
(IMO ) A talking head tutorial won't provide the same dynamism and efficiency.
For example, just look at *Scatterbrain* at 75% or 50% of its original speed/tempo, and you'll see each and every one
of the colored dots, moving CLEARLY without blur and with no ambiguity of where it is played over the fretboard. ♪
Listening to a talking head tutorial (most of them in English) at a slower pace (though undeniably helpful )
is not as fun, and ain't clearer too (IMO). Some after 25 minutes won't even have the time to cover a song like AJA,
which I cover ALL of it within the original length of the song (even the solos and basslines). ♪

I also will acquire a new super fast and performant laptop this year,
and I have many creative ideas (always with guitar education in mind);
like my *Guitar Drill Sergeant* funny and educative 1-minute segments (on many musical theory topics).♪
I'd like to do some live RUclips events, and go about more content and infos on the tutorials meaning
and who knows practice all together some of the tutorials or maybe some improvisation segments, tips, and tricks too.♪
I'm here and exist to cater to your guitar improvements, I can not animate every song recorded,
so (IMO) I wisely chose Steely Dan (till I produce them all). So my followers should conclude
(especially if it's me who chooses the tutorial song) that if SEB has taken the time to animate something new,
it's because it will make a better musician acquiring and challenging yourself leaning correctly, and at your own pace,
from the comfort of your or wherever someone is situated (as long as there is an internet connection (lol..)). ♪

And then just in the finishing process two weeks later (prior to uploading *Sctatterbrain's* tutorial ), it struck me and a few tears fell from my eyes. I will definitely miss him big time.♪

But in all, so fun to play (and challenging, too)
at least 8 hours of guitar practicing = 6 minutes x 10 X 8 hours = at least 80 runs over.
Heck! no other better recipe for improvements, than repeating, repeating, and repeating till getting it right.
I don't pull off these live performances of mine, just by animating colored dots over a fretboard, (lol...) ♪
Though it helps tremendously to memorize the songs by heart,
still playing ALL OF THEM has required a lot of practice for each and every one ♪

In this lesson, every single musician is constantly and technically soloing through the whole song,
not to mention a difference of 17 BPM faster from start to end.♪
It's very long animating all these notes, there are thousands of layers and keyframes it's mind-boggling,
but heck! the final results are quite satisfactory (IMO) and make it all worth it ♪
And will most probably give it/them a longer shelf life and interest for the future neophytes

Je t'avoue que je garde le focus (à 90% de mes contenus) sur Steely Dan pour les deux prochaines années pour atteindre et/ou arriver proche de mon objectif d'avoir au moins 85 de leurs compositions dans le format de mes leçons. (et de devenir sans équivoque, LA référence/l'endroit par excellence dans RUclips pour tout ce qui à trait des compositions riches Steely Dan♪
(IMO) leurs *musical masterpieces* sont absolument un *must* et indéniablement utile pour élevé ses aptitudes et devenir un meilleur musicien/improvisateur/compositeur, sans oublier tout le coté riche en théorie et savoir musicale (dans une variété de styles, de tempo et de signatures de temps inusitées) ♪

De mon expérience, ce qui est le plus long quand vient le temps d'animer mes points de couleurs par-dessus le manche, c'est de faire les solos et/ou tout ce qui ne ce répète pas plus qu'une fois (les furent tout un challenge aussi). C'est presque aussi long et compliqué de déplacer une note, qu'un accord avec quatre note (même avec le barré). ♪
*Scatterbrain*, fut toute une commande (pour mes ambitions), y'a rien de A à Z qui se répètent, le tempo augmente considérablement du début jusqu'à la fin, la basse (tout un challenge pour toi mon ami Joe), le piano, et en plus que tout est instrumentale,♪
Ce fut beaucoup réécoute pour discerner tout ce qui passe (et ce parfois 8 à 12 note par secondes) j'ai du requérir à énormément plus de temps que j'anticipais, mais pour Jeff Beck it's no problémo.♪
Donc je ne suis pas officiellement dans une phase Jeff Beck, mais je t'avoue que je suis tenté. Il fera parti du 10% de contenu surprise que j'intégrerai durant mon ambitieux challenge de produire presque l'entièreté du catalogue musicale de Steely Dan. ♪

Tu sais Joe, je vais être honnête avec toi, pour moi c'est pas si compliquer que ça de reproduire les lignes de basses. Personnellement je trouve que ça donne plus de valeur et de dynamisme à mes leçons. Y'a aussi Anthony Jackson qui je trouve hyper-inspirant qui m'a vendu l'idée/la crédibilité de vouloir recréer son génie musical éloquent. ♪
Donc tant qu'à y être (surtout si je trouve ça pertinent et que ce ne sont pas des lignes de basses qui flottent au-dessus des *root notes*), je me suis commis à toutes les faire quand elles sont plus élaborées. ♪
Ceci étant dit, rare son ceux qui sont bassistes parmi mes abonnés et encore plus ceux qui parlent en français, depuis que nous interagissons, j'ai certainement toi derrière la tête quand je les animent, en espérant que ça te sera utile et que tu les pratiqueras avec joies et enthousiasmes. ♪

c'est un album qui a cette qualité de pouvoir être écouté du début à la fin en mode *repeat* et je ne tanne jamais.

C'est génial que tu continues à montrer les parties de basse (et autres instruments, je ne suis pas sectaire). Certaines ne sont pas de mon niveau (je suis débutant / intermédiaire) mais c'est toujours enrichissant de les pratiquer à faible tempo.
Et je me sens honoré si tu penses à moi quand tu les fais ;)
Même quand c'est un instrument que je ne pratique pas ou plus, je suis toujours intéressé de comprendre quelles sont effectivement les notes jouées (les solos de guitare sont toujours passionnants à suivre).
J'ai entendu parler de Anthony Jackson mais je ne connais pas du tout.
J'avoue être plus roots dans mes bassistes préférés : Chuck Rainey, Carol Kaye, Sir Paul McCartney, Tina Weymouth...
Je recherche plus le 'feeling' et le groove que la technicité.

Love Drew Zing a lot (tremendous fan of his playing), but I tend to purposely animate my tutorials over the crisp unmatched high-quality recordings of their albums, instead of live recordings which too often are inconsistent and lack good audio quality sound.♪
As for *outside playing*, as a French-speaking fellow I had to verify what it meant, and that's what I found en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outside_(jazz) is that what you mean?. ♪
