  • Part One
Steve 'The Living Legend' Ward is a proud Brit and a hero in his native Mansfield.
Born and bred in Nottinghamshire on the 12th August 1956
Steve fell in love with the sport of boxing at just nine years old and now at 64 he still loves it just as much (if not more)
With a career as an amateur and professional fighter, Steve officially retired in 1987 after an injury - but the love of boxing never left him and in 2011 he donned the gloves once again at the age of 54 and broke the world record for the Oldest Active Boxer in the World. Now Ten years later Steve is looking to set the record once again - one week before his 65th birthday when he can no longer get a licence to box, and father time stops this iconic career
We caught up with Steve ahead of his final fight
