Ruby Heart is a lot like May. She's a pirate, she's got the anchor, a fancy maritime hat, and a rushing special (just a ball of flame instead of TOTSUGEKI).

TBF he has lost more than you might think. Though I don't think Ruby synercgizes so well with Ken, unlike Venom, with the Web Hyper Combo Attack. That or maybe use one of her other Supers, since I don't see him doing a lot of damage with her Super consistently.

Venom is one of my favorite characters in the series, unfortunately in MvC2 he got seriously lost in the shuffle, he used to be a strong rushdown character with great pressure in Marvel 1, but because the screen was widened and Marvel 2 heavily favors spacing and zoning he got shafted hard, not to mention the change in how normal moves work hasn't helped him either.

Crazy how stupidly fun venom looks in mvc2, his design is amazing he has so much identity and charm to his moves. Even the palettes are cool, even though I like his default the most.

Ken's shoryuken assist has always been my favorite assist. I may be wrong but it feels more invincible than other invincible assists, not sure if that makes sense. The amount of hyper combos I've shut down with it vs any other assist in game feels really high. But I suppose it could just be confirmation bias. At any rate, I've always considered it my "secret weapon" of sorts, since no one else would ever use it and it always did well for me.
Would love to see you use a whole team of shoto, Maybe some other thematic teams like: Military - Guile , Charlie, Jill or Captains - Commando - America - Ruby heart or Green monsters ? 👊👑

@@inorris609 No. That's not what I mean. You can triangle dash or triangle jump, whatever you want to call it with Venom, similar to what you can perform with Magneto or Storm. Jump + Airdash Diagnoly + LK.
Justin the way to play venom is through his command grab like mvc1.. you can super of it or even infinite of it. In mvc1 he has an air to ground infinite. I don't know if mvc2 has it but you can check it out. It will up that venoms play.
