Well good tactics. Corsairs can climb higher and faster than a Zero. Getting him to stall and drop is a tactic that was used by the Japanese ironicly. They had an ace that would do this to our Wildcats. However that ace tried the same move on a Hellcat, he didn't make it.
7:09 i’ve been using that strategy to get planes off my tail since the update came out :) you don’t even need the engine upgrade, you can slightly dip your wing in the water and you’ll slow down the too fast for anybody chasing you
The launch month for BFV's Pacific launch brought some great "only in Battlefield" moments along with it - I think my favorite is realizing that you can use the Corsair's Supercharger upgrade to pull off water landing repairs!

OMG Dave that was epic.....loves the water landing and take off...how the hell did you manage? The panzerfaust into the top of the wall had me rolling...can't tell you how many times I did something similar but NOT checking clearance....great vid man
That happens occasionally instead of completely stalling and exploding in the water you just taxi in the water allowing you to repair and *sometimes* escape but a vigilant enemy pilot will finish you off before you have a chance to do that.

I used to think it was hard to fly on keyboard and mouse so I never flew, but only a few months ago did I start flying and I’ve actually gotten pretty good with it until I come up against a few good pilots. Then there’s the guys that camp the spawn and instantly kill you when you spawn in.

NGL, the spawn placement on Iwo Jima is fucking terrible map design. Cant tell you how many times the match just devolves into a furious fight over F just so one team or the other can spawn trap the enemy team. Usually ends up being the Japanese getting spawn trapped by several American tanks that can hit the Japanese tanks anywhere in the spawn area save for a couple of areas. Meanwhile, on the rare occasions where the Japanese push the Americans back to the beach, the open area works to their advantage because they can use the ships for cover, even with tanks. Pacific Storm and Wake seem to be alright, but Iwo Jima is just terrible. I know its not a big island by any means, but come on DICE!
Someone really needs to counter act this false only in BF bullshit PR gimmicks by showcasing what you used to be able to to in the older OG BF games like 1942, Vietnam, and BF2 ..... Then and only then will ppl see how much hot air DICE blows over hyped bullshit up their collective asses with every lie they spout .... the corporate opitamy of double speak.
