- It will be winter in Amsterdam soon. It will freeze and snow will fall. Nicole prepares the swimming pool for the winter in the fall.
In the fall and winter, the Handywoman does less construction work.
And so she is going to do other things with her family, such as skiing in Sölden, Austria and to a football match of the Dutch national team in the Johan Cruijff Arena, the stadium of Ajax.

I do pools up here in Canada. Just curious why you drained the complete pool. You can just drain it below the pool jet returns and cover it.
Yes, you are right, we do that normally during the winter. I drained it completely to re-paint it again and make it clean.

Perhaps Nicole could construct a deck for over the pool, so you don’t lose any yard space during winter time, maybe even make it retractable as a cover in summer time as well.

Why cant dad fix the bike while mum pumps the pool? Does the women do everything in this house? She even drives for you. This is crazy.

Considering the effort you went to build this pool couldn't you have made it a bit bigger?
