    Keep pushing Matco Scope training classes. The more people jump ship from the Zues the sooner Snap-On will figure out they need to increase the capture rate of their scope.
    I'm very impressed with the scope and hope ThinkCar keeps up the support. We need more competitors on the market

      Yes besides no frequency math channel pretty solid scope. Snappy lagging behind the times for sure.

    Great video Brian. I have the Thinktool version of this scope and have only played around with it a little. This video really gives some direction on what the different functions do and what the buttons do.

    When using the 360/720 deg cursers turn on math. It should bring up an additional curser in deg.

      @@MechanicMindset I did not have any luck, will post a video later. I was not able to get the time rulers to measure in degrees. I may be missing something.

      @@BrianMann216 Ah ok, he mentioned something about a math channel which is odd. I do think it’s strange there not being a feature for degree measurement; but this was my conclusion

    • @15066bas
      @15066bas Год назад +1

      @@MechanicMindset My Miscig interface looks the same. The math channel wants to pick two channels automatically and I have to deselect the one, I tap on the red symbol and then the cursers read in deg. Also you don't have to bring up the floating box to select the channel, just tap on the colored arrow or touch the wave form and it should switch the cursors to be used on that one.

      I really did not understand how the scope worked the other night for the meeting. Now that I played with it I actually like it. It is very powerful as far as sampling and buffer compared to the snappy product. I may make a part 2 and cover what people are saying in the comments of this video.

    i have often wondered why other scope manufacturers don't build their scopes like Snapon and ATS where you don't need attenuators? it would make life easier for new ones

    What's a good (easy) way to induce a bad CAN signal on an actual car? I've been messing with the one we have at work and demonstrating it to the other techs

    • @BrianMann216
      @BrianMann216  Год назад

      I have introduced faults onto live vehicles, but I really don't like to. Just use a low Ohm resistor to ground or positive, AT Your own risk of course, CAN seems to be very forgiving. Just don't want to mess up a car

    Hey Brian! It’s a MicSig scope 😁 Someone pointed this out to me when I did the ThinkTool scope video (so same as TopDon too).
    Is the Matco diag tool also Launch based then? Cheers
