In today’s video, a subscriber of my channel runs aground, and I break my towline twice trying to get them free…
I’m not saying you should do this…buuuut if you happen to be boating within my territory on the days I’m on call and run into trouble…then you’ll get a chance to meet me, and if it’s a video worthy situation, there’s a good chance you could end up on my channel…🤫😂
Because a bunch of you got cranky after the Bayliner salvage video where I said we threw out the line afterwards, I did a poll recently and some of you said you’d be interested in buying pieces of our old towline and/or old/broken equipment we don’t have a use for. To that end, I have setup an ebay account where I will occasionally list stuff for sale. For now, most of it will be souvenirs for this channel. By time this video goes live, I will have parts of this poor blue towline listed for sale.

In today’s action-packed video, we’ve got a real boating adventure for you! One of my subscribers ran aground, and it turned into a bit of a rescue mission. Sounds straightforward, right? Well, not quite! Things got tricky when my towline snapped not once, but twice, making the situation even more challenging. 😅 You’ll see the struggle and suspense unfold as I do everything I can to get them back on track. It’s all part of the unpredictable life on the water!
Now, I’m not exactly recommending you go out and get stuck for the fun of it, but if you happen to be boating in my area when I’m on call and you find yourself in a bit of trouble… well, you might just get the chance to meet me! And if your situation is wild enough, there’s even a chance you could end up starring in one of my videos! 🤫😂
This video is packed with some real-life boating drama, lessons learned, and a bit of humor along the way. Make sure you watch until the end to see how everything turns out! 🚤🌊

Was the "blue line" an aramid fibre? It had an interesting recoil when it snapped; as it seemed, to me, that the majority of the energy in the line went more toward the towed vessel, and less toward yours. I hope you and your family came out of Helene OK.
