I love it! Primordial. Geological. Deep time. It's so good to hear music this abstract - that is only of itself. Gets full marks from me!

The screeching woodwinds remind me of the 2001 scene on the moon

The most interesting composers writing today are those roughly grouped under the heading New Complexity: Michael Finnissy, Brian Ferneyhough and James Dillon.

Sorry, I loath this composer's music and find nothing in it to praise. An abolition. A mess (Similar to Hans Werner Henze). But most importantly, uncomfortable to listen to.

      Uncomfortable is okay.

This sounds absolutely nothing like Henze! How is it a mess!?

Loathe. Not loath. And, yes, nothing in common with Henze, who has also written some rather excellent orchestral pieces.
