The sauce makes it, the combo is just fantastic. Suggestions to add to it smoked salt or paprika, bacon, hot sauce, Jalapeno or my favorite mushroom powder which is just dried mushroom rant through a spice grinder and you can find both pre-made powder and dried mushroom online with ease.
Kurtis Bronzi agreed, where do you even find muffins like that in the UK? homemade? And for the cousins they are just Muffins, no need for the English prefix.
Not sure on that sauce, but I think I'll have to give it a go. Idea...how about getting a couple rashers of bacon, and chopping them up and adding to mince to make burgers.
Something I learned in business school (and maybe it's obvious) is that there is a difference between what people say they will pay (or even buy in general), and what they will actually pay (or buy at all). Still, a great looking sandwich.
Gawd I love this video! John, I work in a Canadian coffee chain in the States. We currently have a 'two for $4' special on the palest comparison to your Epic morning sandwich. I can't stand ours, I was drooling over yours! Great work! I'd pay 6 quid too.
I make a more close-to McD's but use toasted, well buttered Bays Sour Dough English Muffin, and I use an egg poacher to make a fluffy egg (none of that flat-fried boring egg), American cheese and a nice piece of Canadian bacon. The poached egg makes a very full sized sandwich and the buttered sour dough muffin really add much needed flavor that McD's doesn't have at all. This one he does looks interesting, but when he said Tofu, it wasn't for me.
Not a fan of how those muffins look. I like the ones with pockets of air in them that form those nooks in the muffin that are great at absorbing sauce. Otherwise, looks good.
These muffins, though, look very dense "bready" in texture. Typical Thomas-brand muffins have the pockets, but certainly not the volume. I think he went this direction, because he wanted a bun that could stand up to the thickness of that patty.
Quick question, chef. How does that sauce work for a croque monsieur? Does it brown and bubble up? I do a quick-like croque monsieur with sun-dried tomato or cracked pepper turkey breast, and spread caramelized onions on the bottom slice of bread, that I've pre-toasted. But I'm wondering how much of the miso-tofu you're suggesting I use. Would you use any proper gruyere on your miso-tofu monsieur?
I made the cheese sauce and it wasn’t good at all mate I’m thinking the tofu has to be a high quality one as it’s the main ingredient I bought the only on I could find in the supermarket and wear as yours looked like Panna Cotta mine was grey and grainy ahh well can’t wait for my bacon to arrive
I'm Lovin' It, Finger Lickin' Good, Have It Your Way, Where the Food's the Star, Think Outside the Bun, Eat Fresh, The Last Great Hamburger Stand, World's Greatest Hamburgers, but then the real deal! Put some chips and salad with that and it would be an easy tenner over here. Just 6 - 6.50 as is. Nice job again John.
honestly i would paid 8 pounds why? i love muffin and mc. D's not quite delicious #sorrymcd + in here Mc. Muffin quite expensive for me (even 8 pounds quite big for me lol)
i am making silken tofu tonight and i have nice miso so guess what i will make for breafast tomorrow mornig !!! thanks for that good recipe with busker misonaise, good one #Leroux Megumi
simply, everything is better when bigger. them extra ingredients make the different the egg is defiantly better cooked that way... too bad its against code regulations for a fast food chain to under cook their eggs like that
Too runny mate! Eggs over easy, yolk broken but still gooey please. Not only easier to eat in the car but the best part of the egg doesn't end up all over your board/shirt :) We make em like this at our drive thru cafe in Australia with chilli jam and american cheese and they're popular AF :) Plus we charge 2 quid each and make good money off it without skimping on any of the ingredients.
Wanna take it up a notch? Put a bit of sourcream on the bottom bun and drop some spicy sauce on the top one, your face will melt from the flavors. Thank me later.
4:16 every time egg yolk falls anywhere that's not bread we stray further from God...
Piero Chighizola that always gets on my nerves too. That's half the protein from the egg dripping off the side of the sandwich
cerra el culo pelotudo
agreed, I want a running yolk but these days I try to get them 50/50 so I do not loose the yolk, its no joke.
The sauce makes it, the combo is just fantastic. Suggestions to add to it smoked salt or paprika, bacon, hot sauce, Jalapeno or my favorite mushroom powder which is just dried mushroom rant through a spice grinder and you can find both pre-made powder and dried mushroom online with ease.
would've preferred a thinner english muffin. seems like the muffin to egg and sausage ratio is off.
Kurtis Bronzi agreed, where do you even find muffins like that in the UK? homemade? And for the cousins they are just Muffins, no need for the English prefix.
Scott Rowland mate they’re called English muffins stop being pedantic
That northern baker does it in England you know warts and in asda sausage pates. Go for it hope this helps
This is masterful cooking.
I've discovered your channel with a mountain of looming exams, thank you
Where did you get those really thick muffins? I've never seen such thick ones in any supermarket bread section.
Aw man, imagine this and a cup of coffee, what a way to start a day 🤤 Your videos keep getting better John,I’m loving them.Every week is a new happiness
Food busker is a straight out beast! Love the vids bro.
Looks amazing chef!
Absolutely killed it! I’d eat at McFood Busker for breakfast every day!
cheese sauce without cheese???? this man living in 3018
Holy moly. That is my Saturday morning breakfast after Friday on the town.
Not sure on that sauce, but I think I'll have to give it a go.
Idea...how about getting a couple rashers of bacon, and chopping them up and adding to mince to make burgers.
Family loved this. BUT we do get our breakfast sausages from Butcherbobs which happens to be 90 miles away. we pick them up when seeing family.
Really curious to try the miso tofu sauce. What kind of miso paste is best? dark or light?
Yea wicked breakfast muffin! Good job John😎!
2:57 me, every night
I was questioning the tofu miso sauce vs real cheese, but everyone was raving about it. Definitely worth a try.
Something I learned in business school (and maybe it's obvious) is that there is a difference between what people say they will pay (or even buy in general), and what they will actually pay (or buy at all). Still, a great looking sandwich.
You did it again chef!
Hi Food Busker, where is the place you have your kitchen?
Awesomeness in a small package

waitt...Canada has coffee!? OMGoshhhh
Tim Hortons isnt Canadian anymore, it was bought out by Burger King.
Do you serve food at the market or purely just recording space?
That sauce had me drooling a bit!
Instead on English muffins, I use Everything bagels. So good!
I'll really have to try making that sauce!
I'd pay around £5.50 that beautiful hangover cure.
Holy good God that looks amazing chef. The sauce is very interesting. Can't even imagine what it tastes like
This is the perfect breakfast muffin......add a delicious cup of coffee and I am all set, thanks John :)
:)
4£ and 50 pence is a good price for that. Awesome! Cheers, Chef John!
John ! Where can I get the muffins and the sausages in Germany ??? The whole looks just oh so great !
I love it, and I’ve got to try this sauce!
is that sauce your creation chef? genius, brilliant, idk any other words!
What was the music when you were flipping the sausages? Also looks amazing!

That is unreal 👍 gonna give this one a go in the morning
Oh, my! How can I make that gorgeous Breakfast muffin?!?!? The ones we have in the States are thin and tasteless!!!
Oh wow its better than one that is mass produced. Such a wonder. But can it be produced at the same quantity and price as the mass produced muffin?
Awesome stuff, I'll be making this one the weekend
Looks great! Would love a bit of ketchup in there too
Yes it is...perfetto...

Theres a difference between muffins and crumpets , crumpets are the ones with loads of air bubbles inside ( atleast by british standard )

What's the song in the begining?
I want that but soft tofu is nowhere to be found where I live ;;
Why is a miso tofu sauce a 'cheese sauce' if it has no cheese?
foodporn!!!!! I love it
My automatic reaction to the shot of the yolk running out over the sandwich at :15 was too close to arousal.
That said, Christ this looks good.
Mmm, that dry bottom and dripping top really brings the whole thing together. /sarc
Nice one!
I've got the whole lot in my fridge. Worbs muffins and asda sausage pates. YES. And Sorry I hate runny eggs.😆
Muffins are a little suspect but other than that it looks amazing. Definitely worth more.
can anybody describe to me how that sauce tastes? ingredients sound interesting af
Now that's what I call a sausage n egg McMuffin, it looks way better than the McDonalds ones
i am making silken tofu tonight and i have nice miso so guess what i will make for breafast tomorrow mornig !!! thanks for that good recipe with busker misonaise, good one
#Leroux Megumi
love your work brother, big fan! But it's Umami chef
Please give me these songs for my play list...!
I'm still waiting for the breakfast to get me through the sausage and egg muffin....
I thought everything was bigger in America, but those English muffins are double sized.
what kind of accent is that? just curious)
I had a McDonalds ad before this video. Not joking.
The dude in the back is right. I'd eat this every flippin morning xD I'm with the busketeers on this: 6 pounds at least!
Nothing ruins a cheese sauce like cheese
I once made one of these just out of basic stuff from ASDA.. 1000 times better than maccy d.. so this one must be incredible 🤷🏻♂️
That's my breakfast Tommorow forget the cheese sauce 😂
This guy puts a Chinese influence to anything lol
0:12
Is that in a Binging with Babish video?
"GUYS LETS NAME OUR DISH E G G S L U T"
it should be at least twice the price of McDonald's Breakfast Muffin
simply, everything is better when bigger. them extra ingredients make the different
the egg is defiantly better cooked that way... too bad its against code regulations for a fast food chain to under cook their eggs like that
Ouch , when he did that first bite and didnt catch the bottom muffin
Is that what real English muffins look like? Good lord I've never seen one so tall.
John mate, you really need to hurry up with that smellyvision! Yum =)
Come on John, that was a feeble bite ha ha. Easily a fiver!
LADY COCKEREL APPEARANCE OR RIOT, lol jk
Muffin looked superb!
I always enjoy sausage in my muffin!
How do you actually make money?
Toooooo gooooey 😁
Too runny mate! Eggs over easy, yolk broken but still gooey please.
