15:16 Hugh's mother is Princess Saera Targaryen, daughter of King Jaehaerys I. In the book she is described as tempestuous, demanding and disobedient. After a scandal and years of fighting with King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne, Princess Saera was sent to Oldtown. From there she fled across the Narrow Sea to Lys and began working in a pleasure house. Saera was known to have at least 3 bastard sons, but may have had more.
Hugh was born in Fleabottom (show canon) This is the thing I love about Fire and Blood, it’s all second and third hand accounts so it gives so much more freedom to flesh out the story. Episode 8 is a great example when Rhaenyra tells Alicent she will be painted as a villain in the histories. Which she pretty much is. The show runners just knocked everything out of the park when you think you maybe have three paragraphs to make an episode out of!
Vermithor's last rider was King Jaehaerys I, who was the old king in the opening scene of the 1st episode. Hugh Hammer's mother was Jaehaerys' daughter - Saera Targaryen - making King Jaehaerys Hugh's grandfather. Silverwing's last rider was King Jaehaerys' sister-wife, Queen Alysanne. Ulf said that he was Queen Alysanne's grandson. It appears that he was telling the truth. Both Vermithor and Silverwing sensed the blood of their old riders - just like how Seasmoke sensed Laenor's blood within Addam of Hull.
Hugh Hammers mother is Saera Targaryen. She has a really interesting story! Vermithor is by far my favourite dragon in both design and personality, even his noises are freaking cool. So great seeing you two together, love your reactions ❤
it was kinda major plot point last season when rhyneary was knifed in the arm by her former friend and now enemy, Alicent. right after Luke took out her son's eye. I'm surprised that Cam didn't remember! great series guys, I really enjoy watching you !
The issue isnt the Targaryen side of Jace, since Rhanera is a Targaryen. Its the Velaryon side. He's supposed to be Leanors son but clearly he's an entire white man. And everyone knows he's a Stong.
That's some family reunion. Oscar Tully is a boss though, loved the way he handled that. Bermithol approved of Hugh because he has balls almost as big as his😂
Completely forgot that Sea Smoke's last rider is Adam's (half) brother). That's one of the things I love about watching reactions. I pick up so many things I missed.
Guys, there needs to be a grand battle in this season and I thought it would be in the 7th episode. I think they gave us a hint when the Green council talked of allying with the Triarchy to break the Sea Snake's blockade of King's Landing. So far nothing has come of that but I much doubt it was a random comment. I'm betting there's a sea battle plus dragons above in Episode 8.
The whole Jace thing is not so much that people wouldn't believe he's a Targaryen, no one doubts that he's definitely Rhaenyra's son. The problem is that in order for Jace to succeed Rhaenyra, he must be her /true-born/ son with Laenor. So they're all sticking with the company line of "yeah he's totally Laenor's son, don't question it". They use the fact that he was able to bond with and fly on a dragon as proof of his legitimacy (like, he's got to be a true-born because dragons don't bond with bastards). If they prove that low-borns and bastards can claim dragons too, that takes away one more argument Jace can use for his already weak case to be heir. The next step of that is for one of these dragonseeds to say "well hey, if we're just going to let any old bastard Targaryen dragonrider be king, why Jace? Why not me?" He's being an elitist dick about it for sure but him worrying about it makes sense
I found it profoundly disturbing that Cam is on the right and Zay is on the left. 😱 Remember that we saw the Daemon daughter who was sent to the Vail mulling over the presence of an adult dragon nearby. That kind of clue is not wasted in this series. I don't know if she will find and be able to ride it but that's clearly what they hinted at.
Vhagar is bigger. what do you mean "how much more is he than Vhagar"? "Largest in the World after Vhagar" it was said. + There might be bigger dragons and mysteries in the World itself.
Ulf: One foot in the egg sack
Silverwing: The f**k? Did i just hatch a human? He shall be mine. 😂
Aw it's nice seeing you both together in person

When Hugh was facing up with Vermithor I kept quoting Deadpool from the new "That's my big boy!"

The boys are together!!!!
Cam: I KNOW DRAGONS
Cam: Silverfang
😂😂😂
"The idea.....
that we control the Dragons....
is an ILLUSION."
Hugh Hammers mother is Saera Targaryen.
Lawd my babies together ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Especially for this reaction is priceless ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh look, lunch!!!😂😂
I'm impressed with Vermithor's manners. He demanded his meat cooked. So civilized.
That good sliding off the chair after she announced whose git first.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You are both adorable AF! ♥️👑👑
Silverwing thinks Ulf is her Baby❤
I hope the Cannibal makes a cameo and Daeron is the best Targ in this entire family.

bro they said before the season that isnt happening until season 3 they spent most of the budget on episode 4 and 7
That Targaryan DNA test is tough. Positive - you become a dragon rider. Negative-you become a flaming people nugget.
DOPE reaction, as always!
We're looking at 8 Black to 3 Green. Which makes me think one of these new riders switches sides.
At least one, and it will be exactly because of what Jace is worried about
I own arguably the most dangerous dog in Jamaica so I have an idea what Adam of Hull feels like 😂

You HAVE to turn captions ON! You are missing minor details only revealed in the captions!!
Another great reaction 🔥
Great! It is very interesting to see your detailed reaction to the film Real Steel 2011. This is a cool movie 🦾🤖🔥
Do you have any plans to do it?
Yeeeah boii…
Vhagar is bigger.
what do you mean "how much more is he than Vhagar"?
"Largest in the World after Vhagar" it was said.
+ There might be bigger dragons and mysteries in the World itself.
Silverfang? Lol this boy i swear...he "LOVES" dragons but cant name or identify ANY...even with Subtitles
Zay is tanned or he tried to pet a dragon too?
I believe that's genetic--like the ability to ride a dragon.
