Some of this is from season three. Butcher doesn't have heat vision anymore. And Homelander and Butchers chat in s3e1 I think
The background doesn't match any of the locations in S3 when Butcher used his Temp V powers, except for the Russian lab where he was wearing the lab disguise (he's wearing his trench coat in the trailer). Plus, Butcher has never used his heat vision on anyone other than Homelander, Soldier Boy, or Gunpowder's corpse. It may be possible that the Compund V tumor Butcher has can do more than be just a Resident Evil tentacle monster.
