😂😂😂Mariano think that he is going to beat high stakes online poker players?
Welcome to the jungle Mariano 😂
More like an unwelcome
What the hell he wanted to get called by on the river? Ok, he blocks lot of flushes, that means that he is probably good, but his opponent is folding everything worse with hearts coming in. When Mariano gets called, he is usually dead with single pair.
Sometimes aggressive is no good
Mariano try to be cute with pocket AA and got his ass handed to him, he is an overrated player.
I don't understand the shove . Jungle called 40K on turn. Then checks the river. What does Mario put Jungle on? Brutal river
That was a good battle. Mariano was running hot. Running hot into jungle man 😂
Mariano usually gets owned by top pros for whatever reason. It is really nice he has an open invite to HCL to play amateurs. It's like free cash machine
@@whiskeyhoarder9587 yeah mariano is good vs HCL players because they don't know how to play poker, every time he plays a pro he's seriously out classed.
😂😂😂 so funny!😅😅😅
Mariano is professional poker
Audience: what is the strength of mariano ?
Answer is luck 😁😁😁😁😁
Jungle man is a seriously skilled player, he played all those hands so close to perfect for the exact situation he was in
You know who he is right? He's probably in the top 100 best poker players ever.
@@Brazz27 yeah I know, but sometimes it just takes a fresh look to really see how incredible some people are at this game
@@Brazz27 I mean he might be in the top 10, he’s was an absolute crusher inn the online hay day against seriously aggressive opponents
You are crazy top 10 phahahah
He is not that good at all, maybe u r irellevant with high stakes crushers but he indeed played those hands flawlessly
This is what can happen when you go full speed and jungleman knew M. had no break.
Same hand Tom Dwan vs Barry Greenstein but played in different way!!!! 😂😂😂
The clip the title is referencing starts at 7:16.
If Mariano has a serious run bad period, and I mean months, not days, he won't survive it if he gets all defeated enduring a few coolers. Maybe his attitude is better than his expressions, but he is certainly coming off as if he believes only he should be getting the cards.
I don't like how he gets all snappy with the dealers when he loses big pots like this.. that "double check it please" was annoying as hell...
He's super cocky. His attitude and style of play have both changed since he had a couple of good high stakes sessions.
@@ryanturner3432 I've heard a couple stories about him and rampage at resorts world ganging up together and acting tough towards a guy aswell. A year ago or so
Ya he's an a hole. I min bought at 1/3 and he tried to troll me buy offering me a lucky chip. I politely declined. He & rampage were going all in pre and acting like everyone was beneath them.
6:49 U got bluffed ,
really ?! 😂😂😂
Pretty sure this is the 1st time Marianos AA have been cracked in a big pot
He had a 2/5 size pot left in chips. Wasn't going to lose anymore, and he called a nearly potsized bet on the turn. He's not folding if he has a flush.
Mariano getting a Taiste of the unlucky side . 😂😂😂
No, he just got owned by someone on another level.
@@cicatracereally ?? What a news
How exactly was mariano unlucky and jungleman lucky when it's 52% vs 48% on the flop
Looking at somebody's body language and facial reaction when facing a river lead is very interesting. We have two hands where Mariano is in position, cbet flop, turn check check, and faces a "big" river bet.
In the 64s hand he rivers a weird 2pair, makes a crying call, where the frustration and pain is clear in his body language.
What about when he has the absolute nuts with KJ? Well when facing a river lead with the nuts, we see Mariano has no agony, a blank and serious "poker face", and then raises massive.
I'm not too sure how to balance this or if it matters. You can try to have a crying call face and THEN do some "performance" to raise 3x pot. Or you can try to go for way more massive river bluffs with a serious "poker face".
I guess I'm just wondering on the river if every time you act like your gonna crying call, you NEVER raise, if this can be used against you. Perhaps once a hand is crying call territory it doesn't matter what information your giving away as your only ever calling or folding. Just rambling into the abyss
With slightly different action on prior streets this river can be shoved especially with the ace of hearts. However the turn barrel was really big so jungle gets to the river with a really strong range. Even hands that are not flushes like two pairs and sets beat him. These hands don’t really raise against huge bets so jungle’s value range is everything other than condensed here
ok, Doyle
lol go back to zynga poker no one cares
Is this Mariano’s review of the hand …? 😂😂😂
100% Jungle calling 40k on the turn was a red flag. Check on the river was an obvious trap, check back would've saved Mariano ten's of thousands. $$$
@@MrMoisesramirez12hindred(s) 😂
Both player’s lines got the Doug Polk seal of approval in his latest video
i think the jungleman knew that mariano will look for max value if he check on the river . mariano believe that his Ace of heart block many possible combos like AK AQ A5
yea he was def thinking about the blocker. Which is dumb as hell. He basically turned his AA into a bluff because he blocked the nut flush. Costly move lol
That is why I don't understand the strategy of "blockers." People over-analyze their hand with a "blocker" and make poor decisions based on that. The only time you can block something is when you have quads @@djjj614
sometimes, Mariano plays too "GTO", that's not good if every single time he wants to get max value when jungleman or someone else know that. @@djjj614
@@djjj614 great point! AA with heart is a hand leans to call if Jman bet, not a hand that bet (value or bluff?)
How many times have players looked at others chips when they are really strong ? Mariano kept looking at jungles chips at the turn , and jungle in return was Checking out Mariano’s stack after the river 🎉
If you actually think this is a reliable way to determine hand strength, you probably aren't very good at poker
@@gyberic lol u got me , I dnt play much , but it’s just an observation I had with regards to this video 😂
a pissin contest?
I mean if he’s bluffing he also has to know how much Jungle has because it’ll impact the bet sizing. This isn’t a 100bb buy in game.. when people are super deep the stacks can vary a ton and it makes a big difference.
Totally miss played on the river with AA and quad Kings
M missed a tell there. J always holds his chips like that when he's gonna snap call lol 😂
really?
Mariano: Can you double check it please?
**Dealer counts it out again and he doesn't even take a glance at her counting**
I also noticed that hes a sore loser
tom dwan vs barry greenstein
It is time to play the variance ! 💫
two greats bumpin heads.... mariano seemed a little tense in hands w cates
That shove on the river was bad unless it was a merge shove thinking sometimes he gets hero called and sometimes gets 2 pair to fold.
“Can you double check it please 😅
Charlie Wilmoth doesn’t get enough credit… he’s right up there with Bart as one of the best commentators. Always great analysis.
I don’t think if opponent got AQ for example able to call three barrels due to jungleman level of skill. With flush possible on the river better just check for show down with one pair
Only Patrick Antonio’s vs Tony G , “check check check”BEATS THIS😅🎉❤
Hadn’t seen that clip before - hilarious
Wesley the pro said Mariano over Play AA 😂😂😂
At the end of the day, AA is just a pair, even doubt KQ unsuited would call, he blocks AQ combos too, thing is, even if Mariano bet light he would still get jammed by Jungle, hard to check the river but he may have lost less given a chance to fold.
Only on the internet can someone barrel with AA in a 3bet pot with Ah and the other guy check/call OOP with top pair and flush draw that gets there….
And people argue over how it was played or talk like check/calling was so much skill.
One of the most standard hands in the history of ever.
Why he bets the river i can't understand haha😂
what are we getting value from on the river? second nutflush... 😂
super tough spot especially with the ace of hearts
Jungleman looks like like he's about to go check himself into rehab.
having that A of hearts hurt
Based on the line of action, Jungleman's range of holdings from Mariano's POV that makes sense at RIVER includes the following:
*Disregard bluffs or misses from Jungleman's range (most probably folded before turn)
Hands Mariano beat (8 or 17 combos):
6 combos of AQ
2 combos of suited KQs (suited non hearts)
or 11 combos of KQ (if include offsuits)
Hands Mariano lose (18 combos):
3 combos 10 9s (suited non hearts)
7 combos of suited hearts:
KQ
K10
K9
Q10
Q9
10 9
65
(76 may not have continue turn, K7-5s probably removed from preflop range due to Mariano being aggressive 3betting on his right, 23 probably not in preflop range)
less likely but still possible hands due to passive check-calling line to river:
3 combos JJ
3 combos 44
2 combos QJs
Value hands:Non-Value hands
8 : 18 or 17 : 18
1 : 2 or 1 : 1
50-65% of times called by better hands
30% called by worse hands
20% fold worse hands
River shove = no value (not even thin)
A blocker to the nut flush does not justify the reason to shove river due to the nature of the board (connected broadway, many suited hearts can easily continue due to higher outs and implied odds), it only reduces about 5 combos (AQ,A10,A9,A5,A2)
Very hard for beaten hands (1 pair on completed board) to call the river shove and easy call for hands that beat you.
I'll be glad to have the opportunity to check it back on the river.
Edit:
Assumption based on observation,
AA,AK,KK,QQ are rarely played passively preflop by Jungleman (only call 3bet, esp OOP)
I think u missed 6 combos of Kk And one combo of aa
i think a big part of mariano's consideration here is that when the flush hits jungleman does not lead out on the river to realise his implied odds of going for a flush draw, hence reducing his flush combos by a significant percentage. and jungleman can still have some(not all since he shud be 4-betting sometimes oop) combos of KK
I can't imagine jungleman calling 40k on the turn with T9s... also other flushdraws that don't have a pair will probably fold because they aren't even drawing to the nuts and OOP will be hard to extract value from. I also think that the less likely hands that you put in your list are more actually more likely check calls (JJ 44 QJs) due to Mariano's big bet on the turn.
yes, will only be called by better ✌️
Maybe against you, but this is the jungle man. Idt it’s a jam but to say he never gets called by worse shows you would get steam rolled in any moderately aggressive game
@@imalwaysbluffingguys like this commentor play 1-2 live lol
@@madlok911425 50? Cent..

Doug poulk analyze that hand with solvers and its a pure shove with aces having the ace of hearts
It's not an overplay. Definitely thin. But you run into that in an ego leveling battle
should've checked the river with one pair of AA
Mariano aka lil Garrett lol
Mariano looking more and more like just another flash in the pan
He will go broke playing like that
Playin like that he's going to get flashed in the pan...
Know when to holdem know when to walk away is sometimes a $300,000 lesson..
That shove makes zero sense especially since it was checked back lol also what calls you there that you beat?
Super overplay. With the overbet on the turn and a call you most definitely check the front door flush. We all make mistakes
Could someone explain the river shove? What is he trying to get value from? Every hand that was still in gets there on the river, and if any weaker hands did linger, they’d fold to that bet. I don’t get i
I think Mariano played weel those AA, not overplay. it's a 3bet and with that river SPR and the A of hearts, I think it's just a cooler
since AQ is never calling that river it doesn't seem like a great bet
@@vlada_janjanin KK or maybe even KQ can call though
Reminds me of the Tom Dwan vs Barry Greenstein hand from High Stakes Poker Season 5
what was the hand?
Yes! Aces for Barry, KQs for Dwan! 😊🎉
@@martinedwards4522same thing lol AA vs KQs but dwan had spades and dwan flopped literally the same thing. It was a Q high flop and it had 2 spades, so top pair and a flush draw lmao. Only difference, they got it all in on the flop, this hand played out the whole way.
@@speakinfaxonly21 thanks 😂
Mariano with the new Rollie
There’s no way mariono folded that 64 suited🤣🤣🤣🤣
We have to see some 3 hands before the actual hand?
I think after that Q10 bluff he did to jungleman.... Jungle really thinks when he plays Mariano. Just my .02
Jungleman looks like hes on crack 😂 also he was definitely fishing for that flush luckily for him it came for him on the river
The old dog still got the trick
Yes he did
Unless I River a set I’m never betting that river
All in with 1 pair, i guess he put Jungle on a big Q. Even so, dont think he would be called. Money saved is money earned
What’s he getting called by ? Either trips or the flush
jungle looking more and more like Keith Richards
That was an atrocious bet size on the river reraise with quad Ks. Should’ve been half that. If even that much.
yea i dont know what he was trying to do there, he had the ace of hearts was he trying to bluff jungleman off 2 pair?
QJs 2 combos, Sets around 7 combos assuming that jungleman occasionally flats pocket queens, around 5 combos of flushes (KQ, QT, KT, T9, 67)
So 14 combos that beat Mariano that call the all in
He has 2combos of KQs that might call
6 combos of AQ that would call. 3 combos of QT. Everything worse than top pair should fold river shove so Mariano is really targeting 11 combos for value. And that’s giving the benefit of the doubt that none of the QTs would fold. Talk about value owning yourself 😂
thats a check there
thats 100% a check
he not calling 40k with nothing there on the turn
and with mariano having his foot on the gas
its a standart check also from jungleman
I would never asume that as weakness
Jungle folded a boat to a raise, and now he tries to value shove with AA. What is he thinking. Never gets a call from one pair
possibly becasue he had the ah he thought its unlikely jungles calling full pot on the turn without out the nut draw so could have aq or kk...still extremely thin though.
@@AC-wl7ve I think you're exactly right. Worse hands than his AA all fold, but with the Ah I'm sure he's thinking/hoping he could sell the nut flush.
Dude is too aggro man gotta be more balanced
This is what you call: “casino high”
not an overplay, basically everything about how this hand played out was standard
I think Jungleman there is usually going to have QQ JJ and then the obvious pair + flush draw. He had to check the river
What is Jungle calling that size on the turn that he beats? Just flush draws. What is he calling all in with on the river when a heart comes? Sets and maybe some 2 pair combos. All of Jungles range on that board beats AA. Really don’t understand this, maybe he levelled himself.
in a word... yes!! in 2 words HELLLLLL YESSSS!!
He checks u shove for some reason with aces and roll ur eyes when he calls u!? Lol
I gotta turn my aces into a bluff bc I’m 100% sure I’m. Beat!? How stupid just check then
such a bad call this first one, one simple question could make it enough ... what bluff he has when i got blockers specially that 6c
That's a check back all day. What is he calling with there that you beat? AQ maybe, but you're double blocking that. That leaves KQ suited of all suits. That's the only hand you're getting called by that your beat. This coming from a $1/$3 reg baby!
I guess that bet was supposed to be a bluff cause jamming with Aces there makes no sense as a value bet
That just a drop in the bucket for Marino, he a multi millionaire!
He's a multi-thousandaire after that hand
He has backers he ain’t even close to one million also has to pay taxes he’s in CA
Even when he's not playing, Gordo is there (11:24). Thank God we can't hear his obnoxious voice/commentary.
ALWAYS check back aces in that exact spot... Like the $90,000 wasn't a big enough pot for Mariano... You safety- check to protect your own holdings against traps. Just like this one. Your opponent obviously has a piece of that board. Him calling a $40,000 bet should tell you he has higher equity than just a pair or two pair/set draw. The flush got there. And he snap checks. It's a mandatory check back every single time. Why put more risk into the pot when only hands that destroy a "pair" would easily call. Your putting way too much at risk for no reason. Check back so your opponent can't trap you.. people always overplay aces. Lucky for him he can take a massive loss like that and continue to play at those stakes. Good hand.
Welcome to the big league
Mariano.. 😂
I think this Marion kid is in a little over his head. He ran hot for awhile at high stakes but doesn’t really play the best. I’m sure the good pros like him at the table tho lol
I am not suprised witnessing Mariano downswing. He has a very arrogant attitude, he goes tilt more and more often cause his big ego can't let him to properly handle failures as a pro.
I'll check back on river tbh. Nothing worse will call.
I guess if Mariano sensed that Jungleman rivered the heart flush, the only way he could win the pot is by betting huge. And since he knows Jungleman can't have the nut flush because he has the Ace of hearts, he was hoping that he could scare Jungleman's smaller flush into folding
Not as crazy as it seems because of the SPR but it would be better to value with KK because AA block the better calling hand (AQ)
That check on river was gross.
Did Mariano Overplay POCKET ACES vs Jungleman?!? - Yes, he did. Only better hands then Aces could call.
I wouldn't say ONLY better hands can call, however I think it's very unlikely that Mariano will beat 50% of the calls that would be required to make the value bet profitable. Having the ace of hearts obviously helps because facing the large sizing on the turn, jungle will fold some flush draws but will certainly not fold the A high flush draw. However jungle will still have some trapped sets for sure, some QJs, and he will still have some flushes such as the obvious KQ/QT maybe even Q9 of hearts, and then also at some frequency will have T9/KT of hearts, and the issue is really that the main hand Jungle could contemplate calling the river with that Mariano can beat would be AQ with a heart, which you block pretty heavily, so yeah I gotta say not a fan of the river jam here.
That was an overplay. 9/10 and hearts got there.
How can you fold the 6 4 Hand there. With Turn going check check you clearly beat some parts of jungles value range and you yourself have a very medicore or weak range, so you cant let 6 4 go, can you? Imo you would overfold like crazy vs jungle bluff range
He called or are you dislexic and blind ?
Brutal
Conclusion dont get into the high stakes world and start trying to outplay one of the best players of all time
He thought Jungle had KKs 100% 😮
Hahahaha jungleman so relaxed, winning easy money.
In fulltiltpoker era he had to play vs ivey, ragen70, isuldur, dang brothers, joiso, etc to win money like this.
Now is so easy to win big money vs these donks.
No reason to shove there and i know he is a good player but thats crazy with the flush on the board. I guess he is playing the person, still way over play
I'm really interested to know what was going thru Mariano's head on the river. Was he trying to get a better hand to fold possibly? Was he thinking he might get called by worse?
Hard not to shove there with the blocker to the nut flush and the ability to get called by worse such as a KQos or AQos with a heart in Jungleman's hand.
@@misspetitMariano is no amateur. My guess is that Mariano felt that since he had the Ace of hearts, he could scare away lower flushes
@@TitusObbayiagain.. amateur 😂
@@TitusObbayi lol scare away lower flushes 85 into 125k
I think he was doing it as a value bet... targetting KQ or AQ... I think some flush draw combos are eliminated on turn with the turn bet so I can see why he bet for value... good players get thin value??? Idk... I am a slightly profitable 2/5 5/10 player so who knows lol. Fun video for sure tho!!
Hard not to shove there with the blocker to the nut flush and the ability to get called by worse such as a KQos or AQos with a heart in Jungleman's hand.
Hard? No… why would qk or aq call off a stack when you lose to more hands on that river? lol You check back that river all day
So, Mariano can beat only 2 hands that MIGHT call the river, and literally loses to everything else that can call the river jam. If Mariano is going to jam a heart river card, jamming the turn would be a way better play. That way, Jungle`s very strong combo draw hands will be getting a very bad price to call, but might/will probably call anyway. Plus, it might look bluffy and might get a call with the AQ and KQ hands anyway.
@@RichardRennesagainst GTO opponents like Jungle will not call a naked flush draw to a pot-sized bet on the turn except maybe KThh. So he's only losing to KQhh and KThh.
I don`t get your point. Are you agreeing with what I said, or disagreeing with some/any of it? Just to expand on what you wrote, Mariano is losing to K,Q of hearts, K,10 of hearts, K,9 of hearts, 10,9 of hearts, and all the sets. By your own point, those are basically the only hands Jungle has there, when he calls the turn. So, what is Mariano beating on the river that he can get value from by shoving, that called the turn? Literally nothing. @@seslocrit9365
@@happytrailsgaming Because these opponents are thinking on a high level and are capable of bluffs such as these ones. Mariano could bluff with AKos and the Ace of hearts in his hand.
I think the quick check on the river by Jungleman was a tell. Mariano didn't pick up on it. The flush came in. He could have just checked it back but got greedy. Mariano has had this tremendous run. Will it continue? Will the swagger take a toll?
lol ok go play jungleman if you can spot his tells genius we will all patiently await the results of this clash of the titans...
i think the only tell you picked up from jungleman was the cards that he had that you saw on the screen
