Mahalo for your hard work, Bunny. Hope you know it was much appreciated I’ve loved Annie Lennox since high school in the 80’s. That voice is just amazing. Thanks so much, again Aloha🤙🏾🤙🏾🎼🎶🎵
La totalement Fabuleuse Annie Lennox. Bravo pour les segments d’entrevues, belle impression d’intimité avec cette artiste que j’adore depuis le jour 1 💕
This reality is why Annie was friends with Tom Petty since the 70s. When Tom's house burned down way back then it was Annie who arrived first among friends bringing clothes for the family. She is a very good person.
Darryl souster1967 - in addition to her incredible voice & artistry, to me Annie is similar to a select group of women performers who have talent with X factor, earthy charisma that hooks men but women love her, too - Janis, Aretha, Sher, Tina Turner, Etta James, Bonnie Raitt...female versions of Michael Bolton, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra....
Flor wast I agree, wholeheartedly! And that is a huge compliment, because her studio recordings are soulful and on point! But, there is some kind level that she elevates her music and voice when she performs on stage that always moves my soul, man. That performance of her cover on “No More I Love You’s” on the DAVE LETTERMAN show back in the 90’s is still one of her greatest 3 and a half minutes on stage that I still get chills watching in awe. From the time she walked out to the stage, pirouetted into the song’s intro... through that great soulful last minute after her “... and you know what, Mummy? The monsters are REALLY CRAZY... there are monsters outside...”, moments that makes me choke up in tears because I’ve recently lost my Mum and the way Annie speaks those lyrics has me thinking, and missing DEARLY, my mom as I struggle to suck up the tears and enjoy this beautiful woman and her blessed voice. And, I got to mention... isn’t her eyes so hypnotic??! And, knowing she was actually under the weather during this show and fought off a 103 degree fever, is even more amazing how she carried herself like the pro she is. Lovely woman ❤️✌🏾🤙🏾 ruclips.net/video/eft_j2SKGJQ/видео.html
Annie is the finest singer...pretty much ever. Studio, live, whatever. Especially on those slower, ballad-esque songs. Her voice just jambs itself down your throat and grabs you by the feels. Velvety liquid gold. One of those voices like Patsy Cline and Otis Redding. There won't ever be anything as good.
I had the fortunate experience to see her open for Sting at the Hollywood Bowl, and when she came out on stage to finish Sting's set, I'll be damned if she didn't steal the show! Incredible range and unequaled intensity...
Hi , I’m curious , did Annie actually open for Sting or was it an “equal” double-bill ? Not sure how to word that question , but you know what I mean. Ty
At the start of Eurythmics, Annie was a rare Red Wine... and boy did she just get better each year... what a role model for future generations of artists. Love you Annie.
"Why". This is one of the most beautiful and moving songs I have ever heard in my life. I've lived that song. I am lucky to have been able to watch her career since the 80's
I totally agree, brother! Her voice is so soulful and strong. Even her “Whoa’s”... and “Yeeeah”s has this certain sweetness and power going back to her EURYTHMICS days of “Sweet Dreams” and “Here Comes the Rain..” and on great tunes like “Why” and, my personal favorite,”No More I Love You’s” with those soulful “Whoa”s and “Yeah”s on all of them.
John Lee Bass No, she doesn’t. There are several songs I can replay multiple times in a row because of how much my ears are fused to her beautiful vocal delivery. And if I’m watching a RUclips video, I’ve been known to drag back that little red dot to restart an Annie Lennox song... ten plus times. UNabashedly!😍🤭😬😁 And, those hypnotic eyes, man! I’ll mention it time and time again. They are awesome! Always thought she was a beautiful woman/artist! Whether it was dressing Tom boyish during her EURYTHMICS days, to wigs during her solo years... she has always been so easy on the eyes. And, what really amazed me that I learned about her during an interview she had done when she had released her solo debut album, was she mentioned that she is shy by nature. And, loves to dress up with head dresses, makeup etc because it is like a shield to her as she faces the public or performs in concerts. I would never had guessed that. BUT, it makes total sense because, ironically, I am the same way.
I recorded this MTV unplugged concert, onto VHS, when it first showed.. My wife was a singer and this mean't a lot to her at the time. When we separated the copy that we had went with her. For years i have searched for a DVD of the same show, but nothing available. So thank you for posting this. Annie Lennox has everything, Stage presence, stunning beauty, the most versatile female voice ever & the ability to hold her audience in the palm of her hand. Wonderful to watch and hear. Go Annie. X
wish I could have experienced her in person even from a distance..no cell phone ringer turned off can simulate the good vibrations coming from this human being! my ❤️becomes sweetness of emotion when I think and listen to you Annie and your beautiful everything!
Annie, a greater class isn't conceivable. One rank with John Lennon, Sade Adu, Joe Jackson, absolute classy, world music. Dedicated fan from Germany (West). Love you Annie for the rest of eternity!!!

“Why? ? ? “When I hear this song I still think of my first true love , we were 16-21 years old. Luckily we resolved it all 20 + years ago, but my memories never faded. Brilliant Performance 🌟
SHE IS JUST SUPER NATURAL .. HOW CAN ANYONE HAVE THAT MUCH TALENT.. ITS UNREAL..
Absofuckinglutely. A real.. diva

Watching this incredible performance in 2022, 30 years after the recording. Speechless and in total admiration !!! 💖💖💖
Once you are sucked into the Annie Lennox tornado voice, you can never escape...nor do you want to
Damn right...
Her voice really captured my attention with Al Green with "Put A Little Love In Your Heart"
What an amazing artist! What a talent. I'm a 56 year old male. When I first discovered her via the "Diva" album, I was blown away. And still am......
Je Nás viac Chlape. Ďakujem ti ,že Vnímaš.
“Stay by Me” must be the most beautiful song ever…⛈️…so blind in love…

TJ Williams You not been out much, then? Tune into a Tina Turner concert before you start saying Lennox is the best
IN MY OPINION ANNIE LENNOX STILL OWNS THE RIGHT FOR BEST FEMALE ENTERTIANER
Amen, Saad🤙🏾
Yes she’s great but Aretha and Tina take that title
Annie Lennox is so good and so cool! this has been my option too since first heard her in the early 90's
man, that was great...that was something else
That stare at the end of "Why" set the place afire.
I was two years into an eight year military career when I saw her live awsome what a voice ..that performance has stayed with me all these years 😊
