Good video. Well thought out points. I have yet to renew mine, which ran out during covid, but I intend to. I bought a few inexpensive routers during that time to mess around with and saved almost all the money on the membership just with those.
Very helpful video. I had to go to Harbor Freight today to pick up a bunch of small items. Had never given serious consideration to joining Inside Track Club, but I saved almost the full cost ($30) of the 1-year membership just on the purchases I made today by doing so, and when the lady told me that it was only $15 extra to get the 2-year membership, I jumped at it. I do buy big items from time to time there so it will pay for itself. And since I moved, I am farther away from the nearest store now, by about 45 minutes, but I will probably start ordering things online from them now too, and I can use my membership for that as well. And with places like Amazon selling online almost everything I used to buy in stores, I figure I can order more from Harbor Freight as well.
@@jldwoodworking Thank you! I decided to sign up and so far it seems to work for me. Went ahead and did the 2 years for $45. I actually saved just over $30 on the purchases I made that day and on my next subsequent visit saved around $15 bucks so yeah it paid for itself. And I do go there whenever I get a chance to, although it's about a 30-minute or so drive so it isn't something I do weekly, but I do enough business in a year's time there normally that I think it's a no-brainer. I am always buying tools and supplies, etc. And they are always coming out with new stuff I want anyway so it's win-win.
I almost feel like not having to get your coupons organized is worth it. Every time I visit I am scrolling to make sure the coupons are ready on my phone, plus some coupons only appear on emails and no on the app or site. I am early in building my tool set so I do find myself visiting often. I am leaning towards getting a one year membership to "try" it out. I am also looking at their credit card for split even payments with 0% APR.
Hi Jose. if you are building a kit out the first year will certainly pay for itself. It is generally the best year for this deal. Good luck with it....
If you download the Harbor Freight app, you can store the coupons you want to use by tapping the heart icon on the coupon. It will be saved down in a folder at the bottom right of your app. When you get the the store, just click on that folder and your coupons will be right there. If they are a single use, or if they expire, they will automatically disappear from your folder so you don't have to wade through old ones to find your current ones. I work there and really love helping our customers! We have several customers who eagerly open each email and print off all their coupons or save the images to their phone. They come into the store and fill their cart every week with terrific savings. It's so much fun to check them out and ring up how much they are saving.
Harbor Freight app has a coupon organizer, where you can save coupons while reviewing them at home, then use them at the store. Works out quite well and saves a lot of time. I've never experienced a coupon in email and not on the app.
Yes but I fear that would make the price of the club much more. Look what Amazon Prime costs for the free shipping per year. 4-5 times as much... Thanks for watching....
I have one of them. Bright yellow, not sure if the was a good decision yet :). The cart is great and ITC savings will help you there. Thanks for watching....
Greetings from Australia I want Harbor Freight in Australia. Just watched a few of your videos and they are great so, I have subscribed and will be watching more of your content. Regards James One Handed Maker 1 🤚 🔨
Hello James, thanks for watching from Australia. It is very cool to hear from the other side of the world and have the opportunity to discuss like hobbies. HF is very good for what it is. Here in the U.S. we have to pick and choose between the good and the bad in there. Thankfully the bad is being weeded out and it is more good every month. Maybe one day you get something similar... Thanks for watching....
Hi Steve, I am not sure on the Icon boxes but have seen a few Icon items show up. I guess if your not in a rush give it a few months and see what shows up each month. Thanks for watching...
So far two years in on Inside Track Club has not paid back the price of admission. I've shopped other box stores and Amazon and found better products at better prices than Harbor Freight. Probably won't renew. The box stores are wise to HF and have targeted products at them.

Yes, if used properly you can save some money with this program.... Thanks for the comment and for watching....
I plan on renewing mine when the time comes up. I find that I can save year round just by looking for purple tags.
Yup, if you are even remotely regular to the store it will save you in the long run. Thanks for watching
@@jldwoodworking most of my videos show what I have bought at HF and the savings I get

Best logical analysis for buying the inside track club. Thanks
Thanks Mike, and thanks for watching....

It would be nice if they included free shipping with the membership. The cost of shipping can offset your ITC savings.

I am getting ITC for the upcoming parking lot sale (next week). Been eyeing one of those 5 drawer carts for a while

I joined today. I'm hoping I can use it to buy an icon tool box. Has anyone seen toolboxes available to inside track members?
