The reason why Niko guessed Portugal is orange fruit in Turkish (and in several balkan and MENA countries, as well as in Georgian and Azerbaijani) is portakal (and similar variations in other mentioned places) which comes from Italian word "Portogallo" because Portuguese merchants introduced the fruit to the region and were famous for selling them.
Portugal is Arabic word in origin for orange 🍊because Portuguese brought it to Arabia from China and Arabs introduced it to the rest.
