The addition of nighttime hours in these parks is SO COOL. Love It. It brings a whole new element and vibe to your vacation. Endless happy memories and exciting times await 🌴🌋🌊
One thing that's important to note for Volcano Bay is just how warm the water is. The park has heated water so it will never be icy cold like many other water parks. If you're worried about transportation there, that's where I would recommend the Aventura or Endless Summer, which essentially have their own access straight into the park. Went with my friends shortly after Volcano Bay opened and got a volcano view room, super cool at night.
it's a bit random, but the last couple times I stayed at cabana bay, they left the "private" gate open and never checked for proof of stay. Worth looking at if you are set on the walk in entrance method.
Volcano Bay by a mile. Best ride/slide lineup. Great food options. Pro tip: For busy times of year, pre-purchase premium seating. It's much cheaper than the private cabana option and it comes with a private locker and waiter service.
I love Discovery Cover just for the contrast it provides - it always feels like a proper escape from the madness of the theme parks. On paper it looks like there isn't much to do, but on every occasion I've been I've found myself wishing it was open for longer before I had to leave!
p.s. great job as always on the excellent content.....Just when I think I've learned about all Orlando has to offer you tell me something new! it should be illegal for a channel of this quality not to have more subscribers, but for those of us luck enough to have found it, please keep up the great work!
Thanks for this. We are heading to Disney World from Australia in 2 months and your videos are forming a big part of our planning so thank you. We plan on doing Blizzard Beach and Volcano Bay
Been in Orlando for a week. Just finished with Disney and moving to the other parks. The cost of everything has doubled since our last trip here before the pandemic. And the magic is really gone from Disney. It’s all about how much more they can extract from you. Really Disney has one maybe 2 rides of note in each park. And if you want to ride them, get your wallet out.
@@TheFrugalBrit made me sick to have to fork out for so many rides. With 2 weeks in Orlando. You don’t have the time to spend 2/3 days waiting on lines for one park. We are going to miss out on Animal kingdom. Simply because I am not paying again for lightning lanes. The old fast pass was a great system. It’s pure greed.
The problem is people don't vote with their wallets they'll just pay for them. People should collectively stick together and not buy the lightning lanes and practices made to fleece you like $5 for a bottle of Water. Fast Pass system was perfect
Oh.... when the Mouse wants his money.... yea... Disney is def the worst choice of parks compared to Universal or SeaWorld.... Disney doesn't care that you've never been before... if you're not willing to fork up the cash, they unapologetically say "sorry"
Just booked for September for our honeymoon, we will have an even better time thanks to your tips! I have not been to Orlando since 2018 and much has changed since then, thank you for all your content!
My wife and I just got back from Orlando. We did volcano bay and it was fantastic, we stayed at cabana bay hotel so we just walked to volcano bay. Must of done the lazy rivers 20 times lol
My Sunday favorite; The Frugal Brit! I hope all is well with you and your family. I’ll definitely pass this on to my hubby and kids. I can’t swim and they’ll enjoy swimming with the dolphins. I’m normally waist deep with a life jacket on!😂 They love Volcano Bay and they’ve been there plenty of times. I enjoy alone time in the parks whilst they’re swimming. Wanna know a secret that’ll make you cringe? I served 14 years in the US Navy. Not required to swim; just float and tread water.
My grandpa was in the navy during the Second World War. We didn’t learn until he was in his 80s that he couldn’t swim! He assumed they would teach him when he joined but nope! Thankfully, while the ships he was on did take heavy damage, none actually sunk.
Haven’t been able to go to one of these since the late 1990’s (my wife’s progressive disability has made visiting water parks pretty much not an option since our last visit to Blizzard Beach in the late 1990’s)… we preferred Blizzard Beach to Typhoon Lagoon back then because, well, we grew up in the Northeast so we really Liked the theming
Why did you have to bring up wet and wild 😭😭😭 too soon too soon. But, Aquatica is my favorite on the list. Maybe it is because it reminds me of wet n wild 🤔🤣
I wasn't blown away by Discovery Cove. It was OK (although lunch bordered on terrible), and definitely not a bad deal at all when I did the multi-park bundle. It just wasn't as much of a "wow" experience as I though it would be. Aquatica was a complete disappointment and a rip off - I've never seen standard lockers that expensive. Too crowded, understaffed, and inefficient. I rode maybe 3 slides and left. It probably would have been better if I had gone during a weekday, as it wouldn't have been as crowded, but I did not have a good experience. I haven't tried Volcano Bay, but I've heard a lot of stories about how bad the TapuTapu system is and how hard it is to ride anything.
Did the dolphin swim a couple of times. But after the pandemic the interaction with the dolphin is barely 2 minutes. A 30 seconds "swim" and A minute and a half for posing for pictures. Those pictures are extremely expensive and in my opinion a rip off for families for whom this is a once in a lifetime trip. The environment is very nice but and we had a great time, but I will skip the dolphin-swim add-on next time.
@@TheFrugalBrit I rather go in May, before the school holidays and after springbreak and easter. Do you know when it is quit in the (theme)parks but the weather is still good enough to visit the waterparks?
@antoine_073 kind of depends on what you consider good weather. End of Jan is great for low crowds and comfortable weather. But if you like it hotter for the water parks, then last week of April is decent for crowds.
Volcano Bay is still the best. Another universal success.
Volcano Bay is definitely my favorite, I always have a great time there.
80 days until my vacation, woo! I am SO excited for Volcano Bay!
Hope you have the best trip!
Your going to have a BLAST 🌴
Discovery Cove is our favourite for a relaxing day. Volcano Bay for fun in the sun!
Very nice compilation of all five of these parks!

Thank you! Heated pool is important to me.
You must have stayed at cabana bay? Endless summer is a short drive away.
Some of my fondest childhood memories are at Typhoon Lagoon. Pure Blessed Florida Memories 🌴🌅🌊
Volcano bay has been my favorite park for years. It’s incredible
Excellent detail and information. Now I want to try/retry them all

We just got back from Volcano Bay! Really felt like a tropical paradise in the Pacific.
Thanks for sharing!

I live here and still watch these videos

Always love your videos they make my day so much better. I’m a going to have to do H20 after hours and typhoon lagoon . Thank you ❤
I loved it 😊
That was super fun to watch! I really enjoyed seeing what each water park has to offer and which one you think is better.
Glad you enjoyed! 😁
Another great video matey! 🎉❤
Thanks Danny! 😁

Yeah the lightning lane stuff defiantely spoils the magic 😢

I can’t wait to head back in August 😁😁
@@TheFrugalBrit we watched every single one of your videos. They are done so well and really helped us plan our holiday. Thank you
Love to hear that thank you James!!! 😁😁
Volcano Bay!
Volcano Bay is just the best!
By far the best water park in Orlando, Volcano Bay 👍🏻👍🏻
You've got a great voice!
Thank you! I had a bad virus recording this one.
love your videos!!!!
Glad you like them! 😁

Island H20 deserves to be up there
Yeah it probably does but I didn't want it to go past 20 mins really.

Really hoping they go back to opening both at the same time, not holding my breath though.
What about Island H20???😢
I didn't want the video to be much over 20 minutes so had to sacrifice island h2o 😢
Going to volcano bay, one of the disney ones and discovery cove!
Volcano is simply the best in the world

Yeah Aquatica has sort of become the spiritual successor. Wet n wild will always be my favourite though.

Mines typhoon lagoon as it’s got a better theme

I dont even know if its there anymore but Wet and Wild was just fantastic and not even a big disney style waterpark
The only thing that puts me off is as i am on my own and tickets are on my mobile. How safe is my mobile phone
