    This is amazing! My friend and I have currently walked from Minehead to Portreath! We have 3 weeks planned this year, so we hope to get close to finishing!

    Loving your vlog, Rob and Tamsin. You're telling a great story of your experiences on the SWCP and deserve a lot more views, likes and subscribers! Looking forward to watching the rest of your series as you progress along the SWCP. So inspirational! I start my SWCP odyssey in May so any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. I did a couple of long distance trails here in Scotland last year, the longest being the 220 mile Southern Upland Way - but this will be the longest trek I've done 😬

      Thanks for your message Mark. It was really motivating! We are really pleased you are enjoying the videos. We have a few additional views and subscribers every week and will keep the videos coming as much as we can.
      In terms of advice, there is so much. Take only what you really need to keep the weight down, start slowly at the beginning to avoid early fatigue, stay close to the path as much as you can and be prepared to stop between villages and towns where camping options are more plentiful. Most of all, savour and enjoy it!
      The Southern Upland Way sounds interesting, will have to check that out too.
      All the best for May.

    Thank you for these, I did Land's end to Minehead back in 1995ish. No vlogging happening in those days, so great to see the sites again.

      Awesome, it’s pretty busy with dog walkers now, were there lots of people about when you did it? The views are as epic as always I’m sure 😀 thanks for watching.

      @@RobandTamsin Actually it was more busy in some places and in others I didn't see a sole! Lands End and St'Ives Being the busiest next to Padstow and Newquay , Fairly Quiet up to Bude and Hartland, Loved Barnstable of course they didn't have the new bridge in Barnstable and had to go through the town, did you use the new Bridge?

    • @RobandTamsin
      @RobandTamsin  2 года назад +1

      @@jenny02392 yes the towns were quite busy especially with the numbers staycationing last year. We used the old bridge as we stayed in Barnstaple. We loved Hartland which was quite busy but loved the history there. Lands end has changed a lot since my last visit in the 80s. Did the north coast take you long?

      Thank you Sheila, sorry about the volume we are pretty new at this and based the volumes on our little laptop speakers - we have watched a few back on the TV and it does fluctuate. We will try to improve.
