Melancholy Bucolic Kioni Ithaca Greece 1981 - Super 8mm Film

- Before tourism became a major facet of the Ionian Islands, there was a different atmosphere. This short film aims to capture the essence of a summer without mass tourism where the island still belongs to the locals and where the beauty of the village of Kioni on the island of Ithaca, is met with a somewhat different feel than what tourists today will discover.
This was filmed on the now obsolete Super 8mm Kodachrome 40 film, the camera used was Canon 1014e. The film, having lost none of its original colour or quality due to the integrity of Kodachrome, was scanned to digital in 2018 in a Frame by Frame process at high definition to capture as much of the original detail as possible.
Πριν ο τουρισμός αποτέλεσε μια σημαντική πτυχή των Ιονίων Νήσων, υπήρχε μια διαφορετική ατμόσφαιρα. Αυτή η ταινία στοχεύει να συλλάβει την ουσία ενός καλοκαιριού χωρίς μαζικού τουρισμού, όταν το νησί εξακολουθεί να ανήκει στους ντόπιους και όπου συναντήθηκε με μια κάπως διαφορετική αίσθηση από ότι οι τουρίστες σήμερα Θα ανακαλύψουν. Η ομορφιά της Ιθάκης, ειδικά το χωριό του Κιονιού, μένει πάντα το ίδιο.
Αυτό γυρίστηκε σε την πλέον παρωχημένο Super 8mm φιλμ Kodachrome 40, η κάμερα χρησιμοποιείται ήταν Canon 1014e. Η ταινία, έχοντας χάσει κανένας από το αρχικό χρώμα ή ποιότητα λόγω της ακεραιότητας του Kodachrome, σαρώθηκε στο ψηφιακό 2018 σε μια διαδικασία καρέ-καρέ στο υψηλής ευκρίνειας να συλλάβει τόσο πολύ από τις αρχικές λεπτομέρειες όσο το δυνατόν.
