Heizou SLANDER, in the first 5 minuutes that you meet this man, you save him from being locked in a cage, he calls you dreamy and then he whispers in your ear about a crime he wants to solve. Multiple characters in game call him a brat. He is a menace on purpose and that deserves recognition. All of the anemo boys are at least girly pop tbh.
fischl's lore is soooooo girlypop. shes a princess with an imaginary pet crow. and the things she says may be annoying sometimes but it's absolutely GIVING girlypop, SLAYing imaginary dragons, completely EATING and leaving ZERO crumbs. if she wasn't like 13 i'd put her in mother tier personally. adorable.

I honestly could see him getting a 5 star version later on like hsr does with dan heng

Heizou is mother in almost the same way Gaming is girlypop. He's charming and pleasant, but in an overly flirtatious way, like Gaming and Lisa put into one. Kazuha is way more girlypop than you realize, and Bennett is just a more charismatic Mika. There's more but I'm already rambling 😅

a lot of the four stars you rated lower get SOOOO much better after you play their hangout quests (especially heizou!) -- i would HIGHLY recommend playing thru those
Coming to the defense of Ningguang, Itto, Mona, Shinobu, Heizou, Chev, Xiangling, Kaveh, and Xinyan. Ningguang Is one of the original mothers and is a material girl, she fully built herself from the ground up and made capiatlism work for her, also nothing is more cunt than dropping a house on a big bad wizard of oz style. Itto is so camp, he wears more makeup than anyone else in the cast, he is constantly in events because he gives slay and is hilarious. Itto is always doing stuff just because he can and ends up slaying it every time. Mona is one of the og girlypop's she has the issue that many of us have where we get money and immediately spend it all in a shopping spree, she knows she's good at what she does and isn't going to fake being humble about it, but also doesn't take bullshit and will call people like Fischl out on their crap. She also got a new outfit for free because she girlbossed a little to close to the chinese censorship laws and the new outfit shows more skin somehow, she really said "I will wear what I want" Shinobu is mother in the sense that she has to "mother" and entire gang of manchildren all the time, the fact that everyone is terrified of her soley because she will pulverize them if they do something stupid is cunt. Shinobu is also an accomplished law student, was able to perform as a shrine maiden, and is one of the most recognized individuals of her generation for being gifted in multiple aspects; to add on to that, she can flip around like a gymnast, throws kunai in her normal attack combo, and had one of the biggest glow ups in the meta when 3.0 came out and you have a mother right there. She fully said yes I can do all this shit but I am going to do what I want to do instead Gaming is charming as hell, but Heizou paved the way for that archetype, the shameless flirting, the birthday art, the birthday message, he is 10000% girlypop, he just saw the traveler and was like, they will be mine, and I respect it. He has the double beauty marks under his eyes as well which I am unsure if they are natural or makeup but either way a slay to be sure. Chev is our other half to the iconic duo that is Chiori and Chev, they constantly team up to take down bad guys, and Chev had a whole event based around her. She eats as one of the lead roles in a film, and then does another stellar acting job to confront a real life villain. She also believes in gun safety so you know she is an educated queen. She has roots in poverty and uses that as a way to understand where criminals are coming from but has a strict moral code and doesn't believe in taking lives. She also is an avid lover of street food and crime novels which just sounds like your average selfcare night. Xiangling is one of the only characters in genshin who has little to no trauma, that alone is a feat, she has a best friend who is a retired god, and also has the audacity to just be a random chef out damaging most people's onfield dps. She is a queen of inovation, always creating new dishes, and the fact that she is famous world wide while being in her early twenties at the oldest for her cooking is impressive. The fact that she outperforms big name restaurants in Liyue Harbour when she is the one cooking at Wanmin shows she is a talent. Kaveh is so girlypop, he has the "and they were roommates" dynamic with Alhaitham, has one of the prettiest designs of any character, gets a booty shot in his demo, is a hopelessly idealistic artist, as queers, many can relate to this, and he is meant to be used onfield for bloom teams and bloom by itself is the most queer coded reaction. Kaveh also shakes his hand out after doing a plunge attack and otherwise doesn't even hold his own claymore, he is girlypop through and through and I love him for it. Xinyan has one of the most slay designs, she is trying to introduce rock to Liyue by herself, and she has a country accent in her english voice due to her chinese va giving her a more country accent (a very different accent compared to an english country accent, but thay is where the inspo comes from) which is kinda camp. Especially hearing a southern country accent in the middle of Liyue. She just gives the vibes of a small town girl trying to become a rockstar in the big city and that deserves girlypop to me
love the video phaun!! i think one of the trickiest things when it comes to genshin is how much characterization is lost behind time gated events that newer players don't have access to like it feels so unfair to me that new players have no way to experience first hand a lot of these characters, i hope one day we get a feature similar to star rails that allows new players to playthrough old events and get to experince them as well

For a girlypop Nahida team, Nahida + Nilou + Baizhu (or Yaoyao) + off field hydro (Furina/Yelan/Xingqiu or Kokomi if you wanna double healer) is one of my fave teams to run everywhere that's not resistant to dendro. And everyone of these units just slay. The only downside is Nilou weapon options are so SCARCE
its very funny cause all the characters that seem at the wrong place are characters that have limited event locked story like Kazuha, Fischl, Ninguang, Albedo, Kaveh ... this shows Hoyo needs to step up and make limited time event lore playable T T
There are certain characters that have been slowcooking ever since they first showed up as npcs, namely ei, scaramouche, furina, childe, kaeya, shenhe. Theyre getting slow development in the bg with occasional update into their states. But noone is as lovingly cooked and slowly being developed as xiao. The yearly lantern rite is basically a xiao date and honestly i think thats mother to me
kinda annoying for you cuz the lore of characters like albedo, chongyun and fremie were in limited events you can’t replay :( I swear the cuteness of those events would put them in girlypop 😘
what sucks with genshin is SO MUCH CONTENT was in limited time events, the amount of character development and girlypopness that has been exclusive to events is soooo sad (this is mainly towards the two musketeers cutscene which was ICONIC!)
I feel like once you learn more about Albedo, he will go into mother. He is very much for the trans mascs and the gays. (I know trans mascs can be gay btw.) Also, Tighnari is girliepop imo. He's girliepop for one reason: his appeal to gay trans mascs. He is the representation we need.
You HAVE to watch the cutscenes from the Thelxie's Fantastic Adventure event they did featuring Freminet about 6 months back. Genuinely one of the best event stories they've ever had; short and sweet, devastating and beautiful, and still full of so much characterization that it immediately made Freminet one of my favorite characters in the entire game. It's a crime that it was a limited time story that new players can't experience and its one of the main reasons I've been advocating for leaving the event quests themselves in after they end in surveys ever since.

Putting Ei in just “okay” is demented omfg, and wanting to put icon Fischl - the only non-archon Mondstadt character who is still useful and fun - lower than girly pop is bananas too. but I might have ignore it because my babes Baizhou, Eula, Father, Shenhe, Sexy Crane, Yae Miko, and Yelan all made it to Mother status. /lh
you mentioned wanting to build a Yaoyao/Nahida team, so what i could suggest, is a spreadbloom team with Nahida, Yaoyao, Furina, Kuki Shinobu if you wanna focus on hyperbloom damage, Fischl if you'd rather have more consistent Electro application, more off field damage but little to no hyperblooms or Yae Miko for like a middle ground. You could use Nahida as the main dps/driver, Yaoyao as a healer for Furina, who's also gonna be doing a lot of damage with her skill, plus buffing everyone in the team. For the last character I'd mostly recommend Kuki with as much elemental mastery as possible to do huge hyperbloom damage as well as maximize Nahida's elemental mastery buff. Hope this helped!
Another good Nahida team in general that I use is Kokomi, Nahida, Nilou and another dendro character here (I used Dendro Traveller but I think baizhu is better and im trying to get him!
You NEED to do the story quests and hangout quests and THEN come back to this tierlist because there is a whole reason why Kaveh is such a beloved character by the community despite being a 4 star ‼️‼️ He's my babygirl 😔

-Itto was brought at a moment where the story was really serious and perfectly lighten the mood and that man has had so many event with him as the main character he should be in mother just for that and in that recent singing event he truly showed that he was a star I was ready for another Hu Tao rap situation but no he came through and served in every language come on that was iconic and that man fits in any group in the chasm limited event Itto, Yanfei, Yelan, Kuki and Xiao you wouldn’t expect this group to work but Itto’s silliness just brought everyone together and gave harmony to a group who’s all about business and for that he should also be in mother also his character design was truly something crazy and different at the time

to be fair, he mentioned he started playing recently-ish and probably missed most events in which she's in. Xinyan barely gets any story development in the main story unfortunately, so i'm not surprised he doesnt vibe with her much
a lot of the four stars you rated lower get SOOOO much better after you play their hangout quests (especially heizou!) -- i would HIGHLY recommend playing thru those

Coming to the defense of Ningguang, Itto, Mona, Shinobu, Heizou, Chev, Xiangling, Kaveh, and Xinyan.
Ningguang Is one of the original mothers and is a material girl, she fully built herself from the ground up and made capiatlism work for her, also nothing is more cunt than dropping a house on a big bad wizard of oz style.
Itto is so camp, he wears more makeup than anyone else in the cast, he is constantly in events because he gives slay and is hilarious. Itto is always doing stuff just because he can and ends up slaying it every time.
Mona is one of the og girlypop's she has the issue that many of us have where we get money and immediately spend it all in a shopping spree, she knows she's good at what she does and isn't going to fake being humble about it, but also doesn't take bullshit and will call people like Fischl out on their crap. She also got a new outfit for free because she girlbossed a little to close to the chinese censorship laws and the new outfit shows more skin somehow, she really said "I will wear what I want"
Shinobu is mother in the sense that she has to "mother" and entire gang of manchildren all the time, the fact that everyone is terrified of her soley because she will pulverize them if they do something stupid is cunt. Shinobu is also an accomplished law student, was able to perform as a shrine maiden, and is one of the most recognized individuals of her generation for being gifted in multiple aspects; to add on to that, she can flip around like a gymnast, throws kunai in her normal attack combo, and had one of the biggest glow ups in the meta when 3.0 came out and you have a mother right there. She fully said yes I can do all this shit but I am going to do what I want to do instead
Gaming is charming as hell, but Heizou paved the way for that archetype, the shameless flirting, the birthday art, the birthday message, he is 10000% girlypop, he just saw the traveler and was like, they will be mine, and I respect it. He has the double beauty marks under his eyes as well which I am unsure if they are natural or makeup but either way a slay to be sure.
Chev is our other half to the iconic duo that is Chiori and Chev, they constantly team up to take down bad guys, and Chev had a whole event based around her. She eats as one of the lead roles in a film, and then does another stellar acting job to confront a real life villain. She also believes in gun safety so you know she is an educated queen. She has roots in poverty and uses that as a way to understand where criminals are coming from but has a strict moral code and doesn't believe in taking lives. She also is an avid lover of street food and crime novels which just sounds like your average selfcare night.
Xiangling is one of the only characters in genshin who has little to no trauma, that alone is a feat, she has a best friend who is a retired god, and also has the audacity to just be a random chef out damaging most people's onfield dps. She is a queen of inovation, always creating new dishes, and the fact that she is famous world wide while being in her early twenties at the oldest for her cooking is impressive. The fact that she outperforms big name restaurants in Liyue Harbour when she is the one cooking at Wanmin shows she is a talent.
Kaveh is so girlypop, he has the "and they were roommates" dynamic with Alhaitham, has one of the prettiest designs of any character, gets a booty shot in his demo, is a hopelessly idealistic artist, as queers, many can relate to this, and he is meant to be used onfield for bloom teams and bloom by itself is the most queer coded reaction. Kaveh also shakes his hand out after doing a plunge attack and otherwise doesn't even hold his own claymore, he is girlypop through and through and I love him for it.
Xinyan has one of the most slay designs, she is trying to introduce rock to Liyue by herself, and she has a country accent in her english voice due to her chinese va giving her a more country accent (a very different accent compared to an english country accent, but thay is where the inspo comes from) which is kinda camp. Especially hearing a southern country accent in the middle of Liyue. She just gives the vibes of a small town girl trying to become a rockstar in the big city and that deserves girlypop to me
love the video phaun!! i think one of the trickiest things when it comes to genshin is how much characterization is lost behind time gated events that newer players don't have access to like it feels so unfair to me that new players have no way to experience first hand a lot of these characters, i hope one day we get a feature similar to star rails that allows new players to playthrough old events and get to experince them as well

For a girlypop Nahida team, Nahida + Nilou + Baizhu (or Yaoyao) + off field hydro (Furina/Yelan/Xingqiu or Kokomi if you wanna double healer) is one of my fave teams to run everywhere that's not resistant to dendro. And everyone of these units just slay. The only downside is Nilou weapon options are so SCARCE
its very funny cause all the characters that seem at the wrong place are characters that have limited event locked story like Kazuha, Fischl, Ninguang, Albedo, Kaveh ... this shows Hoyo needs to step up and make limited time event lore playable T T
There are certain characters that have been slowcooking ever since they first showed up as npcs, namely ei, scaramouche, furina, childe, kaeya, shenhe. Theyre getting slow development in the bg with occasional update into their states. But noone is as lovingly cooked and slowly being developed as xiao. The yearly lantern rite is basically a xiao date and honestly i think thats mother to me

You HAVE to watch the cutscenes from the Thelxie's Fantastic Adventure event they did featuring Freminet about 6 months back. Genuinely one of the best event stories they've ever had; short and sweet, devastating and beautiful, and still full of so much characterization that it immediately made Freminet one of my favorite characters in the entire game. It's a crime that it was a limited time story that new players can't experience and its one of the main reasons I've been advocating for leaving the event quests themselves in after they end in surveys ever since.

I would love to see a redo of this once you have done the hangout and story quests because they really do build characters in those stories
you mentioned wanting to build a Yaoyao/Nahida team, so what i could suggest, is a spreadbloom team with Nahida, Yaoyao, Furina, Kuki Shinobu if you wanna focus on hyperbloom damage, Fischl if you'd rather have more consistent Electro application, more off field damage but little to no hyperblooms or Yae Miko for like a middle ground. You could use Nahida as the main dps/driver, Yaoyao as a healer for Furina, who's also gonna be doing a lot of damage with her skill, plus buffing everyone in the team. For the last character I'd mostly recommend Kuki with as much elemental mastery as possible to do huge hyperbloom damage as well as maximize Nahida's elemental mastery buff. Hope this helped!
Another good Nahida team in general that I use is Kokomi, Nahida, Nilou and another dendro character here (I used Dendro Traveller but I think baizhu is better and im trying to get him!
